Food was great, however didn’t enjoy them putting us at a table behind the restaurant area next to the hotel where we heard them talking constantly on the phone. We even had reservations so was pretty upset with that. That is why I give the ambience a low score since we didn’t even feel a part of the restaurant.
My husband and I went for Denver Restaurant Week. We were seated right away; ambience was very nice. Service was attentive but not chatty. Between the two of us, we ordered the grilled artichoke toast, caprese burrata, mixed salad, carrot bisque, BBQ tofu bowl and Scottish salmon. All the food was very good and as expected, but nothing blew me out of the water. I was pretty full by the time the entree came. The value for Restaurant Week was good and I am glad we tried a new restaurant.
The food was excellent.
New modern restaurant with upscale menu. Excelent date choice.
Enjoyed restaurant week menu! The artichoke toast and burrata were yummy! The shrimp and grits were amazing too.
First time here. Food was absolutely superb. Wonderful flavors and innovative dishes. Service was somewhat on the slow side at the beginning, but improved as dinner progressed. Definitely recommend.
Went for restaurant week
3 courses for $45, which was a good value
Food was excellent, service pleasant and professional
Service was very slow. Ordered Amaretto sour no egg waitress brings to table with egg foam and treys to tell me it doesn't have egg. Send it back bartender scrapes off foam adds sour mix and sends back. Finally order my wife and I order apps or kids don't when apps are delivered she also serves my daughters salad. When my wife and my salads are delivered she also tries to serv my sons entree. Bill arrived and contained an extra 12 dollar drink we didn't have so I spoke to the manager and he comped our drinks to make up for the poor service. I grew up in the restaurant industry and there were so many little things wrong we won't go back and I definitely wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
I was so impressed with the kindness and service at narrative. The space was modern with mid-century elements and it was very clean and inviting. Our server,Alex, was so helpful and kind! Thank you 💙
Narrative. Can have a great ambiance. However when we got there for our reservation the host said, “I have a cozy fireside table with a view reserved for you!” Only to take us around the corner of the actual restaurant to the lobby of the connected hotel in a completely different atmosphere than the restaurant. It was disappointing. Somewhat understandable with needing to space tables out during COVID restrictions. But we definitely felt like we got the short end of the stick. Very disappointing when we had a reservation made.
The food was fantastic. The entire menu sounded delicious. Everything we ate... fried green tomatoes, tuna poke, salmon 48 hour braised beef... all were top notch.
The service provided by our waiter was great as well.
Although some of the food was delivered to the table not as ordered, the mistakes were corrected quickly and in a positive manner. The selection is inventive and exciting. The staff was just wonderful!
great food, excellent service, lots of covid safety protocols. Cocktails were a little pricier than expected, but everything else was awesome.
The first impression -Narrative is a place to "see and be seen". A thoughtful and beautiful place with lots of open space with a 2-story ceiling. The friendly host was most welcoming, but the staff was less qualified/knowledgeable about the food choices for us. The food presentation was excellent and we enjoyed the Cherry Hill experience.
Have not had a bad meal or service. I will be going back.
The food was excellent, great sauces, great flavor, good portions.
Always a pleasure - great cocktails - delicious food options & GF selections
I would recommend it for the food and atmosphere. The deviled eggs and the lobster cord dogs are to die for.
Great atmosphere - lovely food, kind staff. Engaging food!
Nice location and ambiance.
Great host, amazing staff and super food. BLT for brunch was perfect and the Italian donuts with custard cream was to die for!
It's hard not to be in a bad mood when you walk into this restaurant. It has a lot of natural light with floor to ceiling windows to the outside. The service prior to arriving was fantastic. I had to change the reservation a few times and whomever answered the phone when I called was helpful and welcoming.
The server was friendly but EVERYTHING took way too long. We didn't get greeted at our table for 20 minutes after we seated. We ordered drinks and those took another 15 minutes to get. It's the same story for our food order, additional drink orders and getting the check. The restaurant wasn't very busy when we arrived and almost full when we left. We tried to identify what could have taken so long for services and couldn't pinpoint the issue.
Food was good. The jaquard omelet and breakfast tacos were a big it at the table from the brunch menu.
We are willing to give this place another try hoping the slow service was more of an exception than the norm.
I love everything about this restaurant including the menu, the food, the creative cocktails and the service. Consistently a great dining experience.
Great place. Plan to go back for happy hour sometime. Great food and wine.
Great energy and menu. I love the Speer Boulevardier cocktail, and the Tenderloin Medallions were amazing!
pro tip: Grab a drink and head up to the rooftop for unbelievable views of the mountains and Denver skyline.
Great service and food!!
Diamond in the rough. What an unexpected gem. I had their Manhattan to start alongside the buratta and tuna poke - both were all-star starter dishes. Will need to get both every time I go back now. Had the 48-hr short ribs for my main and it melted in your mouth. Big Korean flavor so if you don’t like that flavoring I’d skip this and get their Shrimp & Grits instead. Then we had dessert wine to finish things off. I was going to get a 20-yr old port but the server (who I wanted to be my new best friend - so fun) recommended some Italian dessert wine and it was incredible - will also get that every time I go back now. So so so pleased. Can’t remember I had a meal this unexpectedly incredible.
The entrees were better than the appetizers. The drinks were ok but a little pricey. I would go back for the entrees only.
Great vibe for brunch! Food was really tasty (fried green tomatoes were sooo good). Service was excellent and attentive. Will definitely be coming back again!
Food was delicious server super nice and attentive great place to celebrate a bday which is what we did will definitely return!
The waiter seemed to rush us through the entire meal. I’ve eaten at this restaurant twice and the food is amazing but it was awkward how rushed we were.
Food and drinks were great and service was even better.
Good vibe, great service. Parking is a still a pain in the CCN area but that is not the restaurants full.
Fun event happened when if first walked into greeter station. Wonderful women and the host station. Made me feel so relaxed
Really great restaurant that was nice and quiet on a Monday. The service and wine was fantastic. Perfect for a date-night.
This may be my new favorite restaurant in Cherry Creek. Our waiter Justin (?) was the best. The wine menu was hard to read because light font and very extensive so I asked him if he had a specific type. Turned out it wasn't on the list but the sommelier happened to know they had one bottle left-Score!. Justin was great at recommendations and the Lobster Corndogs, something I would have NEVER tried.. were ridiculously good. The scallop dish was delicious. Both the food and the service were impeccable. We'll be back.
Food and service were great, I definitely recommend this place. Tables were spaced and the noise level was perfect as it was not to loud that you could not hear each other at the table, and not so quiet that you felt others were eavesdropping.
Incredible evening! Great service, and delicious food!
The service was outstanding and the wine list was impressive. I also loved the general vibe of the place. Would absolutely return.
Nice new find in Cherry Creek. We had a quiet and pleasant Sunday brunch with excellent service.
Nice!! The food was slow coming, the eggs were cold. I got the egg white dish....but with the whole egg. Although it had chicken sausage, spinach, tomatoes and mushrooms...the dish lack flavor and the sausage was almost invisible. My table mate's dish was too spicy even though she is from Georgia and knew she was ordering spicy...but she had to send it back and order something else when took over 30 minutes to get the new dish which was quite simple...grits and eggs.
