Memorable birthday dinner - tasting menu with wine pairings. The tasting menu is organized to have you choose the components of the meal from items on the main menu, allowing some customization to personal preferences. Also each diner can choose their own tasting menu / a la carte. Each dish was unique and delicious. Plan to go back next time I am in Waikiki!

Oh my goodness! Such a lovely evening and incredible experience…..cannot say enough about the wonderful “starter” of Caviar and Champagne at sunset followed by an amazing dinner. Service impeccable! Many thanks to Seth, Douglas, JR and Chari for a memorable night🌺🍾🥂

First class service and food. I have written a small note in open table reservation that it’s for my birthday and the time I stepper in from the entrance of the restaurant, everybody celebrated my birthday all before I have mentioned my name. The suggestions for the night’s menu were really good. Sushi presented as a birthday extra was the best I have ever tasted around the world. They gave me an unforgetable birthday which I can not thank enough. I would like to thank all employees and special regards to the chef who has put a great team and kitchen.

This was such a special experience from beginning to end. The food was amazing- beautifully composed with attention to every detail. The service was first class. I highly recommend it. Worth every penny.

Elevated breakfast experience. The service was excellent, and the food ingredients were high quality. We highly recommend the salmon avocado toast, the banana foster mochi french toast, and the chorizo side dish.

We were celebrating our honeymoon and Mugen is the absolute best restaurant not only in Waikiki but that we have been to. From the impeccable service to the quality, originality and perfection of every dish, we cannot wait to come back and would not be surprised if by then Mugen has Michelin stars. Thank you so much!!
