I wanted to celebrate my dear friend’s 35 birthday and I was a regular at the Tribeca location for years.
I feel like Mr Chow has seamlessly maintained their ambiance while transitioning into COVID safe dining. It was a great experience and my friend Bjarne was delighted.
Even with tables all being on the street, we had a fantastic meal and a great time. Well done!
The hostess Linda was amazing!
I had a a horrible experience. It was not Covid friendly. There were very poorly behaved patrons sitting next to me and I felt unsafe.
Very over priced and average Chinese food. Do yourself a favor and save money your $ and go to PF Chang’s.
Great service as always
Delicious entrees, incredible drinks, fun location, relaxing street vibe
Outdoor dining was very well set up. Food was the usual brilliance
Chicken on the lettuce wraps was bland. Tasted like boiled ground chicken. Thankfully we had the sauces to help the chicken. Service was subpar. Lamb shank was great.
The food was really excellent. I feel so sorry for the restaurants. It was cold outside and they did their best to make us as warm as possible.
Service is outstanding! Servers were patient and accommodating.
Food is awful. I haven’t been in 6 years and it’s just as bad as I remembered it, if not worse (there was a reason why I hadn’t been back in so long).
It was unfortunate to be seated out side on the side walk, near the valet but it was pleasant over all. I missed the ambience inside and show prolly would have not gone if u remembered we all have to sit outside.
Mr. Chow's is THE GO-TO for exquisite and authentic Chinese Fine Dining! The only reason why the ambiance was 4 stars, was because of the needed COVID guideline seating, which necessitated plastic barriers and heat lamps on the sidewalk. Looking forward to our next visit.
The best service I have had since things have opened! They were very attentive and made my birthday super special!!!
Love my Mr. Chow however the sweet and sour pork was less than par and not worth the price. Service was impeccable as always.
Waiters were confused as to why I didn’t tip when my food was disgusting & my drink wasn’t made how I asked. I asked for a 1942 blueberry lemon drop & got a regular one instead with no warning
Have been going to Mr. Chow since 1982. The food, service, ambiance, etc. has stayed great all this years. While it is a bit expensive have always enjoyed the experience. What is interesting, is I had a Japanese business associate for years that I would entertain quit often when he was in the USA. He could never remember the names of the places he had been, except Mr, Chow. After he went there he always wanted to go back when he was in L. A. When ever I took customer or friends they always loved it, and alway remembered it. What can you say about that?
Horrible service, I felt like he was a used car salesman, up selling the most expensive dishes and wine, after specifically telling me what I picked wasn’t great, and I should really try his choices. Ridiculous. The main dish wasn’t great, which I decided to take his choice on.
Great place with great service. They made front very classy with exception I felt the chairs weren't up to the standard I would expect.
Was great experience as always at MR chow . Inwill be returning many more times . The food was tasty the staff was friendly and outgoing . Great experience !
Our server Jamie was amazing and steered us in the right direction and created a culinary food fantasy. Each dish was delicious and special and is made with so much love and care. The staff is beyond lovely and the food is epic. If you can only dine at one place in LA Mr Chows is unforgettable every time. Thank you!
Amazing food and service was impeccable
Regular customer VIP every Friday please give me a good table make sure it’s next to a heater mandatory !!
There was a hair in my food. The manager instead of being apologetic decided his initial approach was to tell us how “no one in the kitchen has hair as such.” Well neither did our table. It was a disgraceful start to recovery. The bill did not reflect our unfortunate circumstance. It was a birthday party celebration, it Started off wonderful however ended with shame. I wish there was a way it never happened bc otherwise we would have enjoyed an incredible birthday. Horrible customer service .
Wouldn’t recommend the food is horrible
Went here for my birthday dinner for the first time. The food was good, the birthday cake was a nice surprise wasn’t expecting it. Overall I loved my experience the wait staff were amazing.
Great food and atmosphere!
Antoine was an excellent waiter/host
our appetizer was serve at a wrong time my husband get his appetizer and dinner at the same time
my guess love the food but was disappointed of the service was is first time going there
my husband and i have been there many time but service this time was poor
Mr. Chow is our new favorite dining experience. My mother and I enjoyed an amazing night with incredible service. The food was delicious. Our favorite dishes were the sea bass, prawns, and duck. Our server also helped us pick and choose the best options. Overall one of the best experiences in Beverly Hills, ambiance was so fun and our servers made us feel like princesses.
Great staff & yummy food. I recommend the steak. I wasn’t a fan of the noodle dishes and rice.
Loved it, yummy food
There were several parties booked at the same time causing us to wait for an extra 45 minutes.
I went to celebrate my girlfriend’s birthday. The waiter took 20 minutes to acknowledge us and messed up two items that we ordered. I brought two bottles of champagne and he didn’t bring them out after repeated requests. The value is weak for what you’re getting. 6 guests and the bill was $1,000 after tip. I wouldn’t mind paying that for better service. The Food was good, but covid may have spread the staff too thin. I wouldn’t recommend going for a special event. Waiting on champagne I brought in to the restaurant and paid a $35 cork fee for each bottle was annoying.
Awful awful awful
This restaurant is a fraud . I ordered chicken satay was charged 11.50 per piece this menu says they're 6.50
I ordered lobster noodles this website says 22.00 I was charged 28.00
They say the rice come with it it comes bland as hell it was actually gross . The lobster was watery and not hot enough and I waited 15 min just fir some Salt . The Mater d saw us waiting and asks us if we need a box for our food when we hadn't even gotten my girlfriends food yet . We finally told them we were leaving they kept sAying are you sure you don't want it in a box . I didn't goto a restaurant to eat out of a box completely ruined my experience . Considering it was a Sunday and there's not much to eat after a spoiled reservation . Yes we are a lesbian couple . We got treated very poorly and it's disgusting that we also got overcharged cause
Don't go here if you have a nut allergy! We told waiter about our daughter's severe nut allergy immediately after being seated. They recommended and brought us a chicken entree that had entire walnuts on the plate. Due to outdoor seating and candlelight, we were unable to see the nuts on the plate. Although they were apologetic, that's just not enough when you have a life threatening allergy like that. Also felt extremely rushed to order. Food great, service not so great.
Food was very good....only the lettuce wraps were a little bland and required more sauce. The prawns and dumplings were excellent appetizers and the sea bass melted in your mouth. Nice to end the evening with espresso martinis! Service was great. Well done.
I have to preface this with the fact that we were eating outside which isn’t the norm for Mr. Chows. They did their best with providing privacy from the busy street area but there was something off about the food Sunday night. The noodles and sauce didn’t taste the same nor did the green prawns. I was a little disappointed but will be back to try it again once inside dining resumes.
