At Moxies we love to keep things fresh, that’s why we’re shaking things up at our Shawnessy location with the introduction of our first-ever Test Kitchen.

We’re embarking on an all-new culinary adventure and we want your input as we test all-new plates and re-imagined recipes to go alongside the untouchable favourites that made us famous.

Moxies restaurant is a contemporary casual restaurant offering a globally inspired menu and hand crafted cocktails in a vibrant and interactive atmosphere. Moxies has over 50 locations across Canada and 6 US locations in Dallas, Houston and Miami.

In addition to the new menu, our Test Kitchen offers local craft brews batched exclusively for this location and integrated hospitality technology in to the service. The goal of our Test Kitchen is to test every aspect of our restaurant and ensure we provide each guest with a truly satisfying dining experience.

    The service at Shawnessy Moxies is always great. Meagan is an amazing server. Her attention to detail, knowledge of the menus is amazing and she always has a kind word and brilliant smile. Highly recommend

    Ordered the 13oz Rib Eye Steak and asked for it rare. It was closer to medium, but was very tender and was tasty. The mashed potatoes were over-whipped to mush and had WAY too much butter. In fact the mashed potatoes didn't really taste like potatoes since the butter was so overwhelming. We also had the Salmon with Ancient Grains. Very solid dinner, but my partner asked for the salmon to be a little under cooked, and it wasn't. Again, tasty and the vegetables and grains were good enough to be their own vegetarian meal. The service was on par, no complaints, dinner was served quickly and the atmosphere was lively as it was a Friday night. Overall a weak 3 out of 5.

    The food and atmosphere were very good. Drink specials have a lot to be desired. Expensive but Happy Hour helps a bit. Service was good but waitress needed to wait until everyone is at the table before giving her spiel. Also when items are shared between people, it shouldn't be hard to split the cost on the bills. I always hate it when a mandatory tip is added to the bill; however, the waitress told us if we didn't like that, we could remove it so can't complain.

    Simple menu. Simple burger for me. Burger was tasty, fries were hot & crisp. Service was quick. Hadn't been to a Moxie's in some time. All was good.

    Food was very mediocre. Salmon was overcooked and the vegetables were mush. Hard to get drink refills. Taro chips that came with the avocado dip were delicious.

    It was a beautiful day to sit on the patio that was garnished with flowers. Our server was attentive and fun. The tuna tacos were the best I have eaten, and I have had several. The whipped feta and baked tomatoes had a heat combination of fresh herbs.

    Meagan was an incredible server and was so friendly and hospitable. The food was also amazing and delicious! The kitchen took really good care of my grandmas celiac disease and we will definitely be coming back
