Food was fantastic. Both brunch and lunch menu. Excellent choices. Only issue was music was very loud. And all tables downstairs are nigh top, even the booths so if you are short in height then your feet don’t reach the floor, making it a little uncomfortable.

This was our first time at Moxie's. Food was excellent. Steak was cooked to perfection. The Service was Top-notch. Reyna Morin was our server. She was extremely attentive, friendly, and personable. She checked on us often to see if we needed anything and how the meal was. Service was quick and beyond efficient. Absolutely will return on our next visit to Houston! Everyone skip Morton's and GO to Moxie's

I always live coming to this place. It's a vibe for sure! The 1 pound nachos (ask for half side chicken & half beef) are amazing and perfect for sharing. Spicy Mango margaritas were delicious. The Mexican Candy shot had a lot of flavor and a kick at the end. Overall, it was a great experience.

Was excited to try Moxie’s but in a city like Houston with so many options, this fell flat. Service was great and ambiance was enjoyable. We tried the potstickers, short rib bolognese, chicken Madeira pasta. All came out piping hot but the dumplings were a bit soggy, sauce just okay. The Madeira pasta was super oily and the short rib tough. It was mediocre at best. Hope this was just a one off experience but I am not sure I would go back and retry.

Sat my friend and I right by the bar after having reservations for weeks. The hostess claimed there was no room upstairs but I could see the empty tables from where we were sitting. It was so loud. Very disappointing.

Great experience overall. Food and service were both great. Steak bites appetizer is amazing. The chicken/mushroom pasta, filet, and mango chicken entrees amongst our group were all exceptional. Very good portion sizes (we all took home leftovers). Certain areas of the restaurant were a little loud, but still no problem to have conversations amongst our table.

Why were we seated in a bar for brunch? Music was so loud, not a good ambience when you wanted restaurant seating. They did turn down volume when asked though. Food portions are noticeably smaller in the appies. Still tastes great, server was very good.

They had a prefixed NYE menu that I didn’t find of value. Basic Caesar salad, lettuce was warm. Dinner options had 4 options. The mango chicken was over seasoned and extremely salty. For desert the key lime pie also came served falling apart. Not even picture worthy. I would of preferred to order what we liked vs them pre fixing a menu for the masses. Really disappointed as I visit Moxies frequently monthly. To charge $75pp and bring out food of low quality is a poor plan. I would of gladly paid a minimum and ordered what I wanted. Service was great as always. However really failed in the food department.. the reason for coming to celebrate the new year. Spending close to $600 for food and drinks I didn’t find of value.
