My date and I sat on the porch for dinner. Food was good, but the table did not have room for more than two dishes at a time. Rather than taking this into account when bringing out our food, we were given all tapas at once and awkwardly expected to finish one as fast as possible while the server stood there waiting to put the next dish down. Better planning by the kitchen would have made our experience 100x better.

We ate outside in the courtyard. It was lovely and the food was divine. Try the French Poptart cocktail, watermelon salad, and shrimp pesto linguini.

Overall the dining experience was very enjoyable and I will definitely return and recommend to friends. The presentation of the beef kebabs needs a lot of work; two four inch cylindrical dark objects on a bed of rice does not look very appetizing.

Excellent reincarnation of Provence. The menu is very manageable le but full of eclectic tastes. Our party experience much of it. The fish and scallops were excellent. The small please we’re ample and tasty. Pre dinner cocktails were a perfect to the meal. The kitchen staff cooked every to to perfection. And the wait staff were chanting and personable but above all extremely professional.

Wow. Every part of our experience was fantastic!! The service, the attention to detail, collecting dishes, timeliness, wine selection, ambiance - all were so wonderful! It is too common to experience mediocre or sluggish service. The folks at Mosaic provided an actual dining experience! This is so precious and rare! This will be our new regular place in Carrboro/ Chapel Hill.

Was really happy that Provance reopened with a new concept. I do like the small plates/ tapas concept that the new Mosaic offers. Overall though the food was a little lackluster. My favorite was the mussels which paired well with the Naan( more like a pita flatbread). I did not care for the vegan meatballs they were a bit dry and the sauce was a heavy acidic tomato sauce . The desert we had which was a Pastor’s Blueberry pie needs some revamping . The crust was tough and the filling very bland . Not much blueberry either , just some dried blueberries and a stream of blueberry could.

The food and ambiance were destroyed by the intolerable noise level in the dining room. It wasn’t crowded, but the table of six next to us were all determined to test the acoustics. We could not have a conversation, nor could we enjoy an otherwise good dinner.

Thank you for helping us celebrate our Ph.D. graduations! The host and waiter were both enthusiastic and helpful. We loved sitting outside. Great atmosphere though there is a little road noise of course. Lots of cicadas and fireflies. All the food was good, especially the scallops, tomato pie, and french fries. The Mosaic salad was a little overdressed for my taste. I wouldn't get the vegan meatballs again. The chocolate cake was great! The blueberry pastor pie was also very good, we just wished it had more blueberries, and it couldn't compare to the chocolate cake. I would definitely recommend Mosaic for a celebration or just a nice evening out.
