   I took my family to Morton’s and had an overall nice experience. The wine and lobster Mac and Cheese were sub par. The wine was corked and the lobster tasted fishy. We did not send anything back because we ate half of the Mac and cheese and I drank my wine. I am not confrontational. I thought our server was attentive and the rest of the food was delicious. Our rib eye, veggies and dessert were excellent.

   The drinks were great and the bartender kind. She returned my card to me in the restaurant when I accidentally left it at the bar. All of the food was superb, the steaks in particular were perfectly cooked. The only slight downside was the wait service. Our server seemed to be a little off his game and kept forgetting to clean off the table after each course and supply new utensils. Overall, dinner was wonderful experience and my father was quite happy for his birthday.

   Never been at a Morton’s Steakhouse so decided to try it during OC Restaurant Week. Decor and ambiance is outdated, very 70s -80s, kind of dark but they might go for it to make the place “romantic”. Service was great. While we were waiting for our table we went to the bar to have a drink and our server was very nice. Also the server at our table was nice although I had hoped she’d stopped a few more times to check on us. I think she was too busy. Food was ok. Considering these restaurant weeks are adopted so people can try the food of such restaurants and gain clientele I assume the same quality and taste provided for these events would be the same during any other week. So, although the steaks we ordered were good, they were no exception than any other good steakhouse. The portions of the accompaniments were large, which could be more to share than for one person. Overall the experience was good

   Expected so much more. Needed to be reseated. Waiter was attentive but he was worn out. Dine Around was clearly kicking this place to the curb. The food was just ok. Some hot some cold. None of the food was plated or presented in an appetizing way. Then the steaks came out. My wife’s was the tail end of the loin all filled with sinewy bits and should have never been allowed through the pass. Covered in Oscar style didn’t do the trick - it was a no go. Made for an exceptional doggy bag. $140 later (no liquor) we decided Morton’s isn’t a return for us.

   On this occasion the visit was because it was Orange Country's Restaurant Week and Morton's Steakhouse was on the list. The meal itself was three courses. The French Onion soup was very good, lots of onions and just enough cheesy covering to compliment the onions. The main course of Fillet Meglio cooked to order, very moist and melt in mouth. The dessert of Chocolate Lava cake was served with a scope of vanilla ice cream. The hot chocolate filling was out of this world. The meal included a glass of Red or White wine. It was well worth the price that we paid. Our server gave us some good pointers when we were trying to sift through the choices on the menu' We definitely will be going back later in the year to celebrate our wedding Anniversary.

   We were 2 couples celebrating our wedding anniversaries. The food and service were outstanding. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening.

   As always, the service and food at Morton's were outstanding. This is why Morton's is my go-to restaurant. Many thanks to Ben for his energetic, warm welcome and incredibly attention to detail and service. He is the best and this is why I always request a table/booth in his area when I make reservations.

   Great overall experience. Our waitress was extremely friendly and you can never go wrong with the food. Only gripe was we were seated 15 mins after our reservation time.

    Cliff the manager and Jorge the server were great. I have no complaints on their service. I went with a friend and celebrated my birthday. They gave me a desert, a complimentary photo, and were beyond exceptional with the service. They were very attentive, made sure my cup of water was always filled and continued to asked for my experienced. I let them know the truth in a respectful matter of course because the only issue that I had was with the food. Specifically, the steak and the lobster Mac and cheese. I ask for medium rare which I get all the time, and the steak came back a little raw. It did not have an even warm pink tone but rather a very blue (undercooked) one. The taste was also not as flavorful as before. Same goes with the Mac and cheese. Very water down. I’ve been to this location enough times to know when they put their best foot forward. Either they need a new chef or this was a bad night. Overall though, the service was great! However, this restaurant comes with a nice price tag and it should try its best to meet the highest/best of standards. I have a couple of gift cards so I will definitely come back and hope the quality in food is back to its original level. Thanks again! I want Morton’s to succeed. Thus, the honest review.
