Even during the hrs times of finding good workers, Morton’s never disappoints in service or delicious food. We love this steakhouse
We have had many enjoyable meals at Morton's. Unfortunately this time was not one of them. However, we will return. We appreciate management's apology and attempts to make amends.
We were completely disappointed in the food. The only saving grace was the service. She was excellent! It started off poorly when the manager called 2 days before Thanksgiving to inform us they were out of Turkey. I inquired with the desk was there some sort of preorder. Not that she was a aware of. Massive failure on management in my opinion. My filet was extremely tough which I found shocking at this level of a steak house. Loaded baked potato was sparse of condiments.My mother asked if there was any sour cream on the table. Asparagus was tough. I will say the lobster bisque was good as was the lobster macaroni and cheese. So maybe Ruth Chris next time.
The ambiance was not conducive to conversation. The food was overpriced and just marginal; not what I've come to expect from Morton's.

We were celebrating a wedding anniversary and we had our picture taken with a nice card as well as a Happy Anniversary on the top of the menu. Wait staff wished us well on our Anniversary on several occasions.

Clearly Morton's does not enforce the "no jeans, t-shirts, jog attire or tennis shoes" which took the ambience down a few notches. Also, the server COULD have told us that the water had a high price $12 a bottle, and that the garlic butter pat atop our $51 petite filet -- woukd be an additional $6.50. Most restaurants would not add these charges but Morton's gets away with it. Food was not outstanding but our evening together made up for shortcomings.

Really noticed a change (decline) in Morton's; plates weren't hot, drinks were much smaller, and brussel sprouts were hard & lukewarm. Very disappointing!
Wonderful experience as always. Najwa was our server, and she was beyond excellent with regard to customer service and menu knowledge. Our food was well-made and delicious. The restaurant is clean and well-managed. Compared to other steakhouses in town, I always appreciate Morton’s consistency and quality.
Had a wonderful birthday dinner, hostess wished me a happy birthday when she looked up our reservation and sat us. Ben our server is always friendly and so hard working, everything was delicious.shrimp Alexander, steak with fries and a chocolate lava cake. Delicious. Thanks

Service was not good. Server could hardly be found. Took away our drinks before they were finished. Did not ask if we would like another drink. Took bread away before it was finished.

Very poor service. Understand they were understaffed. Food was not hot enough but very good anyway.
Food was sub par for the reputation. Waiter was not very friendly and the temperature of the steak was not correct. Waited over an hour to get our meal and by the time the waiter came back to see how we were doing we were just so upset we left.

Great experience for our anniversary
Our guest is a VIP member & they were aware of it! 2 managers on duty couldn’t get either one to come to our table. Celebrating a birthday, they acknowledged her on the menu but nothing else! They used to give a little dessert! Was very disappointed the last few times here!
Excellent service! Excellent food!
Restaurant was jam packed and noisy. Constant cold draft coming through from front doors. Impacted enjoying the evening and dinner for a special celebratory evening. Food took about an hour to come out. Too busy of an atmosphere.
The food at Morton's is always commendable, so no surprise that we rated it high. However the service at this visit was exceptional. Our server, Jonathan, was personable, patient, creative and provided us with stellar service. We had a last minute guest join us after we had ordered and not only did he take it in stride, he managed to have all our food arrive at the same time. Additionally the manager, Sean, stopped by our table to chat and check on us. He told us entertaining stories and made the evening even more special with his personalized attention.
Kudos to the staff for making my son's birthday extra special. We will be putting Morton's Costa Mesa as a top priority in our steak house restaurant selection.
Alex MADE our evening. She had a way of making each of us feel welcome and special. Her knowledge if the menu and personal suggestions were spot on. The food came out hot and on time and the mgr Cliff came by to add his own personal check on our experience throughout the evening.
It is a very difficult time in the restaurant business due to the lack of available staff but you’d never know under Alex’ watch as well as the back up of co workers.
We’ve never been disappointed with Morton’s and consider it a go to place with our friends. I’d add my special souvenir photo but unfortunately I left it in the booth!
Perfectly cooked steaks. We had both the regular rib eye, great if you enjoy the classic steak; and the cajun style rib eye for if you love the salty dry rub flavor. One member of our party also preferred their filet well done and the chef butterflied it to ensure even cooking. For the sides and appetizers, we had the lobster mac and cheese and mushrooms and spinach - which were also delicious!
The service was incredible, specifically the server we had. Jenn was amazing! She was knowledgeable, naturally friendly, and made everything for us spectacular. The food was decent, for the prices and the reputation, we weren’t wowed. The prosciutto wrapped mozzarella was incredible, the lobster Mac was good, the steaks were decent.
It is a pleasure to see that Morton's has returned. The food and the service and the vibe were all what we remember from before the pandemic.
Delicious food, wonderful service! I am happy to see the restaurant busy! The only comment was, we sat in a booth near the kitchen, and it was pretty loud…it was hard to hear the conversation at out table.
The restaurant is nice and the service is good but not of a very good standard, the food is good, but we ordered a steak meal and the order came a little late and the surprising thing was that it came burnt from the side, however, I continued eating and told the server who apologized, but none of the managers came to apologize or offer something alternative
Took a bit to be assigned a server but once that was completed,the service was very good. The scallops appetizer was very good and the scallops cooked perfectly. The Caesar salad was very good but a little over dressed for my preference. The rib eye steak was tender and flavorful.
