   Amazing elevated cuisine in a prime location in Waikiki. The bartender Caroline went above and beyond for us, treating us to pineapple sake before our table was ready. The rest of the staff was extremely courteous, except our server Anthony, who made my husband and I feel like we were beneath him. The worst of these offenses was that we were brought a dessert menu and informed we only had seconds to decide on a dessert before the kitchen closed for the night. We think we would have had a better time if we simply ordered our food from the bar, and I'd advise anyone else considering Morimoto to do the same.

   Interesting menu. Everything we ate was good even the adventurous angry lobster. Stag was lovely and view great

   The overall experience was good — nothing in particular was wrong at all, but the experience was also not necessarily mind blowing. Not in a bad way, I just kept thinking that it was a slightly elevated PF Chang’s type experience all the way around. Best dish — Fish Carpaccio. Might be better if we sat on the balcony overlooking the ocean/beach in the distance. We sat at the bar and it had a bit too much of a hotel bar feeling for us.

   Food flavours were inconsistent. The fried rice was bland and felt like they forgot the seasoning.

   Excellent service and great ambiance. You can certainly tell you are eating at a premier’s chefs restaurant. We were they for my wife’s birthday and they did not disappoint. She ordered the A5 Wagyu Beef that you prepare for yourself on a hot stone - what an experience. I enjoyed a Smoked Old Fashioned and they went all out for us with the complimentary dessert.

   My wife, 8 month old son, and I had an evening reservation. The staff accommodated our enormous stroller. The restaurant is very open and has almost an open upscale treehouse vibe. My wife really enjoyed the signature old fashioned. We had the Lobster Miso Soup, followed by the A5 Wagyu Carpaccio, and we shared the Ribeye, Sautéed Green Beans, with a side of white rice. Everything was amazing from start to finish.

    Decent but seems the restaurant isn’t closely maintained. Bright lighting, flickering lights in various locations and seems a bit worn out. Food was decent. Service solid.
