    We went for drinks before dinner. It was a Saturday night and very busy. Unfortunately we waited half an hour for them to arrive! The manager noted this and said they were complimentary so good customer service. We sat outside to eat which was lovely. Nice and warm and we could still hear the live music- not too loud. The food and service was very good and took into account by intolerances.

    20 year wedding anniversary dinner and Morgan’s went above and beyond. Excellent cocktails, food, and service was impeccable. We sat out back and it was wonderful. Highly recommended.

    I love this resort - it’s the most dog friendly property I’ve ever experienced. I brought my dog to dinner - it was just me and him - and the kitchen was so accommodating and the service was stellar! I don’t drink alcohol, so Brandy my server recommended a non alcoholic drink prepared by their in house mixologist (Brian) and it was super delicious. I ordered the curried cauliflower app (Brandy’s recommendation) and it was also super delicious. I wanted to order something unseasoned for my dog to eat (he’s on vacay, too) and Brandy’s knowledge of the menu and the food prep came in handy here. She suggested the salmon since it’s one of the few proteins on the menu that isn’t pre-seasoned. I asked if they could split the salmon portion in half and prepare half for my dog unseasoned and the other half for me as it’s normally served and even on a Saturday night, the kitchen accommodated my request and i am beyond thankful. I also ordered the Baja shrimp and Coachella citrus dessert. The shrimp was ok, the salmon and dessert were spectacular. All the staff were so kind and accepting of me bringing my dog to dinner as were the other diners. I’ve been to this resort 6 times already and I will definitely be back! Oh and on a previous visit w/my husband who’s a chef at another Hilton property - we met the chef at Morgan’s and he’s got a inspiring story of working his way up to chef de cuisine from washing dishes with careful mentoring from the previous chef. He was lovely and his food is delicious. Come give Morgan’s a go. It’s a yes for me!

    Wow, what can we say. Our waiter Adam and busser Dillion were AMAZING! They made the night. Will for sure come back and going to tell all my friends. Great food, Best Beef Carpaccio we have ever had!!!! Great job to all!

    Chef Reyes is creative, proud and detailed. Out second meal in 3 days — this one to relax. The first was with clients. Both times were outstanding. The notion to go off property is not necessary at La Quinta as long as they keep up the quality and good staff. We truly enjoyed the whole presentation, menu and service. I cannot say that about many Hilton branded properties, but then again La Quinta is a classic “throw back” experience with just the right does of patina. It doesn’t feel like Hilton, but rather a unique property. Morgan’s was great. We’ll be back.

    It is a sad seeing how this restaurant has declined over the past 10 years. It used to be one of our favorites in La Quinta, but since Covid the quality of the food and service has not been very good. We haven’t been in a few years, so gave one more try and unfortunately it was even worse than 2 years ago.

    We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and the service was excellent. It was a bit overpriced and the noise level was uncomfortable as the evening progressed. I'm glad we came at 6pm and left by 8pm.

    We have dined at Morgans a few times over the years and it appears that the quality of the food is not at the high standard it once was. Even our waiter advised us against some items. While the food and drinks were good the food here used to be outstanding with a focus on local, fresh and seasonal. Overall it was a a good experience but not a fantastic experience we came for.

    We had an amazing experience at Morgan’s! The drinks and food were all delicious. The service was great! We had our four month old son with us and he was able to sleep most of the way through dinner, which was perfect. We will definitely be back!

    Terrible experience at Morgan’s. After we were seated, the waiter never came by. After 25 minutes, we finally asked if we can have some water (mind you, it was over 100 degrees and we were seated outside). Another 20 minutes later, our waiter was still MIA so my husband finally asked the front desk if they can grab our waiter so we can put in our order as we have already been seated for 45 minutes and haven’t seen our waiter. He finally came by and took our order. The food came out shortly (and it was good) but we had no utensils so we had to ask for that which took a few more minutes. The waiter never came by again. So, after were done with the main course, we waited another 15-20 minutes and finally my husband went to the front desk again to ask for the check. We skipped dessert because the waiter never came by after our main course was over. The whole experience was ruined by the terrible service.

    We have eaten here several times and we’re disappointed last night with the waiter. He hurried us through our dinner and told us we had an hour and half time limit. He proceeded to rush us into ordering, telling us to order everything and did we want it in 2 or 3 courses. Things came out one after another without anytime to enjoy a cocktail. Very over priced for this kind of service. Don’t know that we will be back.

    Amazing desert fine dining! Marilyn did a fantastic job with her friendly, knowledgeable and attentive service! The meals were delicious. The specialty cocktails were unique…superb! And the Plumpjack Chardonnay and Cabernet perfectly complemented our dinner! 5 stars all the way!!

    I'm giving one star to the bartender who is fantastic. The rest is subpar... The steak and Octopus were overcooked and difficult to eat. The staff was unattentive and unavailable (to the point of having to get up from our table to get utensils). This was all during a slow time when there were at best 5 tables but 4 waitstaff. Too bad as the location used to be great.

    Underwhelmed, limited choice, had Octopus appetizer, had to ask for steak knife to cut it. We are international travelers, this was a 1st on having to ask waiter for correct silverware. Very disappointed.

    Morgan’s is always reliable and offers a nice dinning experience especially “off season”. Food was excellent. Javier our server was outstanding as well. Only negative observation was the lack of French wines as compared to all other countries of origin. As well, the French wines included were the most expensive. Many dinners prefer drier and lower alcohol wines that France offers.

    Octopus appetizer was totally overcooked and rubbery and the short rib lacked depth of flavor. I could also live without the piano player, but it’s a nice cavernous space and a good overall dining experience, just maybe not worth the price tag.

    Hotel is amazing. Other Restaurants , amazing. Food is wonderful. I love and look formard to visiting here. Unfortunately I had a very bad experience at this restaurant. GM was a very rude and unprofessional. Accused me of trying to take advantage of something the waiter promised me. He called out the waiter infront of me and I felt bad for him. Although he was incorrect, I played along. 20 dollars is not worth embarrassing me, my party and the waiter. Noe was unkind and I will never return. The waiter made the error and I paid for it because he treated me like I was trying to steal from the establishment. Embarrassed myself and my out of country guests. Left the property for dinner on the way home bc I was mortified.

    Was very disappointed with the experience. The service was good and the atmosphere was nice but was disappointed with the limited menu options. For the price, we expected more. Also, not a fan of the “family style” sides. Not everyone wants “Parmesan fries” and if you order more sides (additional cost), it’s too much food. My recommendation would be to go somewhere else.

    I don’t understand some of the negative reviews. This was our first time at Morgan’s and we had a very pleasant experience. Our waiter was kind and attentive. The restaurant is beautiful and they have live music on a Sunday night in the middle of summer. We shared the curry cauliflower appetizer and the sea bass. It was delicious. I don’t recommend the raviolis though. It needs to be adjusted with a different sauce. The crème brûlée for dessert was perfection. We will certainly be back.

    Morgan’s is a really nice dining experience. The service is great and the staff is super friendly. I had the dinner special - salad, flat iron steak and crème brûlée for $50 which was a great deal. My husband had the short ribs. He thought it was great- meat fell eighth apart. Overall lovely restaurant and food.

    The Resort is beautiful, even at 108 degrees. The restaurant is charming. Our servers Maricruz and Daniel were outstanding and there when you needed them, but not overly in your face. Upon being seated Maricruz took our drink order, while Daniel brought over delicious rolls with softened butter. I hate when you have to fight with the butter on a roll. We started with appetizers, my partner the watermelon salad, which he raved about and I the watermelon gazpacho, which was delicious. For our entrees he the grilled shrimp with a side of ginger corn. The corn was nothing we had ever eaten and was outstanding. I chose the Chilean Sea Bass, which was cooked perfectly and accompanied with lemongrass infused black rice, which was delicious. T For dessert friends had arranged a piece of New York style cheesecake. I took a small bite and have to say, it was deliciously smooth and creamy. The menu appeared to be cut back for an upscale restaurant. There was also a piano player in the lounge, which was nice, but I felt just a little too loud for perhaps the mood and feel of the restaurant. I would recommend and certainly go back for a special occasion.
