Kim our waitress was incredible. Food was outstanding and my 91 year old Father really enjoyed it
love the presentations of the foods, good portion size & cooked to perfection.
Staff was friendly and provided a wonderful experience. Food was delicious!
Ribeye was tender; Sea Bass was perfect; the deconstructed lemon meringue pie was delicious! Great service, great atmosphere!
Service was excellent. Food was fine but it wasn’t particularly special if you are a “foodie.” Atmosphere is awesome. Music in the bar was great and the outdoor patio is great space too. An enjoyable evening if you aren’t placing a high premium on the food itself.
Wonderful evening out with friends, staff was very attentive and provided great advice from wine selection to dinner entrees. We all tried a main course different from one another and nobody was disappointed.
Great. Great server and great food in a beautiful setting
Excellent service and food, every time!
Celebrated our 37th anniversary there with our family. Sal was our waiter and he was excellent. Possibly the best steak I’ve ever had and the starters were wonderful.
The food was so so and the waiter talked to much trying to explain the history of the restaurant and so on,
All we wanted to do is dine with friends
The saddle of Lamb was good but the Lobster Mac and Cheese was stellar. Not to be missed if you’re at all inclined.
The wait staff could benefit from some training from a professional. In addition to being slow, you don’t remove bread plates until the meal is completely done; you don’t reach across one person’s plate to clear the next one and you don’t approach the table as a server and immediately start talking over your seated guests and their conversations.
They could not find our open table reservation
Morgan's in the Desert is our favorite restaurant in the Desert for a special occasion as it is quite pricey for "everyday dining." Menu selections/options are very good and the food quality is always excellent. Service is generally top notch.
Rolando is the man!! Amazing experience!!
Wonderful from begin to end.
You could tell the server wasn’t interested in working a table that only had two people. We ordered a bottle of wine and he mentioned we’d have to wait to get it since he had other tables to work. They even kept switching servers on us continually throughout the meal. Never know who would show up and when to help us with something else.... for the cost it wasn’t worth it
Excellent wait staff! Fantastic food! Beautiful dining room.
Great food. Great service. Celebrated my husband’s birthday!
This is our annual dinner at Morgan’s for my Mother’s birthday. Usually we have had wonderful experiences. This time the service was terrible. At first our soup was incorrect which was not that big of a deal. We then asked for more bread for the kids because correcting the soup was taking so long. That never showed up. Next I ordered Brussel Sprouts with my entree which never arrived. The final straw for me was when the table next to use was provided a birthday cake for their table and my Mother was not given a formal celebration even after we notified the Maitre D and attached a note to our reservation.
Overall I was very disappointed. I brought my issues up again to the Maitre D as we were leaving and I was told that they were very busy because of another large party. I explained that just because the restaurant is busy, it should not take away from our experience.
A fantastic experience! One of the best restaurants in the valley!!
We don't go to Morgans often because it's on the expensive side, but their 3 course monthly feature dinners are fairly priced. On a Monday night it was almost deserted so was very quiet and service extremely attentive. This month featured pommegranite. The salad with grilled shrimp was excellent, the lamb entree very tasty, and dessert was like eating fudge. It was nice being able to hear each other without shouting, but don't know if that would be true on the weekend, especially when the season starts next week. Getting to the hostess stand can be tricky with where it's placed, especially if the bar is packed. You have to wind around the drinkers and walk in front of the guitar player to get there. Seems like nearer to the door would alleviate the obstacle course.
Anniversary dinner was truly memorable. The meal, one of the best ever. Marilyn is the most amazing server, she made our evening a special event.
Bread!! The first commun world wide food...used for meals.
Have some breadbasket for the table ....it’s not gonna kill your overall profits by offering bread when I spent $300 on diner instead of giving three little assorted pieces for $6.00 😖
It is an amazing place!
Kim and Parker were amazing servers! 6stars for them ❤️ Food was delicious 😋
They were so service oriented. Food was amazing and perfect.
Our evening was very enjoyable with exceptional food and friendly service in beautiful surroundings
Filet was bland and dry. Halibut was ok. Truffle fries were WAY oversalted. Lobster mac and cheese was bland. Lemon key lime dessert was great!
This is our second trip to Palm Springs and our second visit to Morgan’s. We liked it so well the first time we made it a priority to go back.
Although under different ownership/ chef food was still very good and the grounds are beautiful
It’s a bit expensive but worth it.
Great ambiance at this classic desert resort. Menu has been recently simplified, but excellent quality remains. Burrata and heirloom tomatoes with crisped quinoa was an excellent starter to share. Seared scallops were fresh, ample and delicious. Nice selection of side dishes, including truffle french fries. Service was excellent as usual.
Only issue is, as part of the revamped menu, is a service charge for bread service. This was the only disappointment and the policy should be reversed. No one in the Coachella Valley to our knowledge has such a charge....we would rather it just be included in the meal cost rather than feeling "nickel and dimed" at an otherwise classy place.
Overrated restaurant. The service was horrible. My guest got in a fight with the server because the server refused to bring butter with his bread (which you have to pay for, BTW). We waited forever to order, and had to pour our own wine. Had to flag the server down every time we needed something. It felt like a diner, until I got the check for $150 per person.
The tables are so close together that the staff bump into your chair every time they pass by.
There are plenty of better places in the area, and it's well worth a car ride off the hotel grounds to avoid this place.
Lovely food and ambience
Awesome place, we frequently visits and each time it’s amazing!
This was the best food I've had in a very long time. The service was amazing even the hostess was so wonderful to me. I would travel to this place again just for this restaurant.
Outstanding service from start to finish!
Birthday wishes & special desserts were over the top. Lovely evening...
Morgan’s is one of our favorite go to places in the desert!! Always a great experience. Service, ambiance and food are always spot on.
Initial reception was cold. We had originally reserved an outdoor table and when we arrived it was obvious they did not want to set the outdoor table. Once we were set outdoor the service was excellent. Way too pricy!
Disappointed this time. Food was not up to the standards in the past. Just off on all counts.
Morgan’s in the Desert is that unique and special place that you stumble over a few times.
It’s an outstanding Special Occasion restaurant .
We had a great time and our food and waiter were top shelf! My filet mignon was so tender, I didn't need a knife. We will definitely be going back at our next trip to La Quinta Resort!
