In 2014, MOPHO was nominated as one of Bon Appetit's Top 50 Best New Restaurants. It was also named Restaurant of the Year by New Orleans Magazine and People's Choice Best New Restaurant by Gambit Magazine in 2014.
Fabulous flavor and ample portions. Our server, Andrew, was five star and the chef’s skills were very evident in the complexity of flavors in our dishes. A casual, neighborhood type place that we will return to when we are back in NOLA. We enjoyed the crispy Thai wings, chicken and waffle and the pork belly bowl.
The service and food were excellent! We had a group of 6 ladies and never felt rushed but everything was very timely! The recommendations from our server were on point!
Fabulous and reasonably priced Vietnamese comfort food. Can't wait to try it again.
I went to MoPho with friends for brunch and we had a great time. It was a beautiful day so the outdoor seating was perfect. I got the black eyed pea bowl with tofu, roasted greens, and jasmine rice! OMG so good.
Went with a giant group and the food and service was spot on. Loved everything we tried and the staff did a great job to accommodate a party of 13.
The food and service was outstanding. Our table was unfortunalty sat rather close to another table. We were not bothered by this but the couple we sat next to were horrendously rude. They used profanity and spoke about our callousness by not waiting for another table. We allegedly ruined their evening by being sat so close to them. It made my experience eating there a bit stressful and uncomfortable. Other than this rude couple we had a really great time!
Must order the CRISPY FRIED P&J OYSTERS!!
Fun place to meet friends and try something new!
Multiple trips here now have made this a New Orleans area staple for us and we see no reason this will not continue going forward.
Inventive and tasty fare from drinks to entree. Service is snappy and peppy. Fresh rolls and crispy wings are great starts and the clams in curry I had this trip were fabufoodulous. (I made that up). The pho was also dynamite in a bowl.
The Portlandia dude next to us was entertaining and Bama rocked LSU again on our visit so all was right in the culinary universe for us.
Return is guaranteed.
Our server was amazing and very knowledgeable about the menu. GREAT SERVICE! Great food!
So good! It’s a great spot and the food is so amazing!!
We had wonderful meals here . The food was delicious and though the new fusion food was welcomed we found that the excessive use of kale rendered the dishes to be a little bitter. When we removed the kale everything tasted better. We love eating kale but not in everything. The waiter was exceptional as we were an exacting group and he accommodated our many wishes. We shared the meals so that we could try everything and we had meals divided when 2 people wanted to share one dish. To enjoy the food here come in with an open mind and you will love it.
Came here with the family and we all loved it! Loved the lamb in green curry!
Mopho is now a NOLA go to for us. Just a gem. Friday that roast a whole pig all day and Saturday is Cochon day. DO IT!!!
Wonderful food in a strip mall. Worth the drive from the French Quarter
Smart cooking! Interesting fusion cuisine and good sized portions. Really good food here.
Great experience! We waited maybe less than 5 min for our 7:15 reservation, and they brought us some delicious marinated cucumbers as a thank you. Oysters and Wings were on point, as always. Clams were great, although the beignets were a little bit burnt. No worries, cause still delicious. Everyone loved their Pho, as well. Service was excellent and can’t wait to come back!
Delicious food! Great service! I find myself craving this food!
Delicious unique pho. Special spring rolls filled with traditional ingredients and fried shrimp.
Can’t beat the Brussels sprouts off the snack menu. To quote my son “I could them like
Movie Popcorn”. The wings are outstanding and the Pho is phonomenal!
The food was phenomenal. I don’t live near by and I will be craving Mopho until the next time I find myself in NOLA.
I love this restaurant. The dishes are flavorful and well thought out. Cocktail menu is great. I had the Dragon Lady and it was spicy but not too hot on the tongue. Had the special (sheep's head) and it was flaky and delicious. Wait staff is super helpful and loved her recommendations.
The food is great, but I've had better pho elsewhere. When you go stick to apps and entrees. All delicious!
Our service was phenomenal. The waitress started by asking if anyone in the group has food allergies or dietary restrictions (none did). We asked her opinion of certain dishes and she gave us genuine answers. The cocktails were delicious and well balanced, the food was absolutely amazing! The tofu vindaloo was outstanding...spicy and full of flavor without being overpowering. The Som Tam salad was sweet with mango and salty with fish sauce, and our friend raved about the roast duck Po-Mi. I have to recommend the Pho. The broth had deep, rich flavors that can only come from using the proper ingredients and cooking for a long time. GO TO MOPHO!!!
MoPho is a favorite to be sure. But this evening was to make certain that our out-of-town guest got her own return visit; & MoPho did not disappoint. The crisy fried oysters, the wings, & the fried green tomatoes were the hits of the night. We will return again soon.
Service was great! We both loved the wings and the laska. The flavor was amazing. The pork pho which was the special was just okay, not bad but not great. Will definitely be back to try a different type of pho.
Everything was great. Waitress was very attentive & knowledge. My only complaint is the music was too loud!
My coworker and I had lunch here today (05/31). The food and ambiance was great. Quiet setting with Netflix playing. I love that there’s outdoor seating and garage doors that lift up to get an outdoor feel.
It was setup nice outside, but the fan didn't help because it was pointed at the roof of the building. The food was decent but that was about it. Service was great and staff very friendly.
The Pho was weak in flavor and the spring rolls fell apart when we were trying to eat them.
A cozy, warmly decorated interior of an unassuming interior. Pho has a Louisiana twist, and there are friendly veggie options. We were both in awe of how good the broth tasted on its own. We didn't drink, but there was a solid looking beer and cocktail selection. The best Vietnamese I've tried in New Orleans so far.
Incredible food. Incredible service. Jesus, if you need to check out one restaurant in New Orleans, go here.
The food is amazing. Nice ambiance. The staff is very attentive and I've already been back!
Always enjoy mopho- quick service, GREAT apps/small plates, and of course good pho.
Every dish we had was exceptional. Get the chicken wings.
The blending of flavors was to perfection. Everything from the fried green tomatoes, laksa and chocolate tart had multi layers of heavenly sprinkles on your tastebuds. Everyone one working was very pleasant. A definite favorite!
The Viet Cajun Crawfish was truly outstanding. And the Pho was excellent as well. We went after Jazz Fest and it was the perfect way to end the day.
Not everyday ... but fun and interesting menu.
