Since 2010, Monte De Oro has received over 220 Platinum, Double Gold, Gold, "Best Of" and 90+ Rated Wine Awards. We have quickly become an oasis of wine excellence in Temecula Valley Wine Country and have a passion for making quality wines with our estate-grown varietals.

The winery is beautiful but the wine itself was only OK. We went to several wineries and this is one of the only ones that I did not buy a bottle of their wine. The food was good, not great. The server was great. Overall, 4 out of 5, would likely not return

Great food, great wine, in a relaxed outdoor patio atmosphere. Loved it!
We are wine members here so we obviously love their wines. Our lunch was very tasty. I had a pizza with goat cheese and honey and salami. Each ingredient is great on their own, but put together is a delicious experience with every bite. My husband had the pulled pork sandwich that he described as tasty but small. Good thing my pizza was big enough to share a slice or two with him.
Food was amazing, wine delicious, and server was nice. Only complaint is they didn’t have outside heaters like most other places. We went for Valentine’s Day and it was very cold. Since it is outside, my only suggestion would to add some heaters to keep guest warm, we probably would have stayed longer and ordered more wine if they had them. ❤️
Beautiful winery with sweeping views of the hills. Service was great and all the wines were delicious.
The service here is awesome. The wine is great. The children sandwich was delicious. The Margarita pizza tasted like a store bought pizza. I live outdoor dining, but this one was not a good experience. The fact that there were no heat lamps when it was very cold and windy outside was not fun at all. All I could do was wish the server would hurry up and bring us our check so I could get to my car and defrost. I was miserable and that was no way to spend Valentine’s Day. We rushed through our food as fast as we could and got out of there.

The winery, service, view, wine were excellent. The burgers (seemed to be what everyone ordered) delicious. Saw an amazing looking cake at another table, gotta try that next time. Server - I believe Riley was awesome. Been looking for a new winery/club to join and I think I found it. They handled Valentine's Day and reservations very effectively, no problems at all. Very welcoming and helpful trying to acoomodate people without reservations

Celebrating our 30 anniversary
Valentine’s weekend in wine country . Our waiter was so nice, the ambiance and view was beautiful. My only complaint would be the wine flight was served in plastic rubber container which for this place was kind of cheap looking and not nice. First time I didn’t take a picture of my flight because the presentation was ugly. Wine, cheese board and goat cheese pizza was delicious.
With this outside eating due to covid restrictions. They didn’t have any heaters, and it was cold, uncomfortable cold after 45 minutes. We didn’t enjoy the food, the menu was like a fast food restaurant, sandwiches and burgers. The food arrived and 10 minutes later they were taking the order for the wine. Long story short, I think they weren’t ready for the reopen but they couldn’t missed the Valentine weekend sale. We’ll wait for summer time, maybe the experience will be different, I did enjoy the Cabernet.
Fine winery to visit. Beautiful views. Best to go mid-afternoon for snack and wine flight.

The staff and patrons are practicing social distancing, and the tables are set up far greater that 6 feet apart, so no worries!
With outdoor dining in chilly weather, space heaters would be appreciated.
We seriously enjoyed the wine, the fountain, and the view. The food was very good. We would have preferred if the kitchen were willing to respond more flexibly to individual requests (toss the salad or change regular fries to truffle fries, for an upcharge), but we plan to return.
We had a great experience overall. The wine was very good and the few appetizers we did have were excellent and good portion

My wife and I are wine club members. Both of us a glass of wine and lunch. Meat balls and a salad. Great food for the price. Our waitress (JoJo ) took great care of us. Nice conversation.
Enjoyed our day at the winery even under COVID regulations. Outdoor patio with nice views. Delicious wine, fantastic appetizers and terrific service. Even met David, the winemaker as he stopped at each table to greet guests. Can't wait to go back!

Monte De Oro really made our party of 6 feel comfortable during these COVID times. Everything was clean, all staff and patrons were in masks, and our server was very attentive. Our food came out quickly and was shortly followed by our tastings. The changes they’ve made to adjust for COVID made sense and were helpful. Great experience overall!

Mary was the perfect person to recommend wine tastings for our meal. Chef Alfred made and amazing Honey and Goat Cheese pizza and a wonderful Cobb Salad.
The added umbrellas provide much more shade and a colorful ambience. Monte de Oro has a huge patio with lots of seating. Reservations are recommended and easily made on the Open Table app. Excellent food and great wines.
It was a well organized experience from check in, to place food order, to seating on the patio. The food was very good. It was a beautiful afternoon with a gorgeous view from the patio. Mary was our server and she was outstanding. We will do this again when restaurants are allowed to have patio dining again.
