The food was fresh and amazing as we have come to expect from all Merriman's restaurants. The Wailea adds their own unique flare to their Monkeypod family. The staff was very friendly and attentive with great food and drink recommendations. They graciously accommodated our food allergies and delivered and enjoyable and delicious meal. I would come back without any hesitation.

It was one of the worst meals we had in Maui. Me and my son had an immediate stomach issue after eating the fish sandwich. They were only 2 veggie options on the menu.

We wanted to love it but we were underwhelmed. The lobster deviled eggs were good but $22 for 4 halves. My husband had the wings and they were good not great. I had the fish and chips and they (the batter) were over cooked. I had a hard time cutting through the batter because it was so crunchy. However the flavor was good. Fries were excellent. We won't return anytime soon.

We had a lovely first time at Monkeypod and we will definitely be back! The hostess sat us ‘at her favorite table’ by the water feature on the patio. We were there for Happy Hour - there was live music and lots of people. We had a few of their signature cocktails (Mai Tais, White Walker, Three Dogs & A Cat, Thrilla Gorilla) and they were ALL delicious! The food was yummy too - make sure you save room for a slice of pie! Thank you Monkeypod; we highly recommend!!

Our server Steve was excellent. The food delicious. Only comment is the food arrived before our drinks. Dessert arrived before my coffee. Not sure why this place has got so much good press. Yes the Mai Tais was delicious but expensive and other than that the food fell flat and the setting is on the second floor of a mall next to a busy road. Maybe just cause everything is just so busy in Kehei?

It was all great especially our server Nicole !! The Mai Tai is a drink not duplicated anywhere and you can really taste the rums!! The froth on top is bang on!! It was noisy inside but we sat outside and the speaker was too loud so we asked to be moved. If it’s too loud you can’t even talk! All in all delightful once again
