Monkeypod Kitchen - Wailea
My kids love it! Great food and service.
Had a 6:15pm reservation & was seated on time. This place was busy and loud and crazy. Lots of families with children. Server was Fantastic, salads Delicious, pizza good and fish sandwich Excellent. An excellent spicy slaw was served with the fish sandwich. Portions are nice, prices are good, overall very good. Might go back again but will try a later time.
A very popular place to dine, this was our first visit. We made reservations several days prior and we’re glad we did because it was quite busy at 5:30. The food quality seemed good, but the $22 fresh fish sandwich was rather small and overrun with slaw making it quite messy. Overall the flavor was good, but fries were extra. Also have to say it was almost unacceptably loud, too loud to have much regular conversation without shouting. Ultimately, with so many other good options, I can’t say it’ll be high on our list of places to try again.
Great happy hour. Prices are terrific pizzas are really good as is the beet salad.
Everything we ate was delicious
Amazing pasta and lobster dish
Never a bad meal there and the servers are amazing.
Exceptional food quality. Friendly wait staff. Nice outside dining area
Michelle is the best for lunchtime service and knowledge.
She didn’t miss a beat!
Loud loud loud! Patio set up is really poor. Food was ok but over priced. This is a bar more than a restaurant.
Food was great. People were great. The noise level was just too loud. Thankfully we got a table out on the patio which made it more bearable.
Good food, good service, good vibe. Great for couples and families.
Fun night out! Good food, drinks and laughs!
Best food and vibe
Pizza and wine on a snowy day on Maui! Tom was full of aloha and made us feel welcome and provided impeccable service for a long lazy lunch.
Waitress with bad attitude. 945 reaervario
Monkeypod Kitchen has pleasant and interesting modern architecture inside and out. Food and drinks are pricey but more reasonable at happy hours. Waiters are in a hurry - not as friendly and happy looking as one expected at such a beautiful place.
Good food. Good service. There was a wait of about 15-20 minutes after our reservation time. Overall- great Maui dining experience. Would return.
Always a great experience when we visit and Service is always excellent! Our server that took care of us was Mariah was also so sweet! It’s always very busy so I highly suggest making reservations!
Wailea Monkeypod Kitchen was once again wonderful! It was a crowded, chilly night and the service and food were both exceptional.
Our 3rd time was a charm like the first. The Ahi, Mai tais, and the Sang Royal beer was a perfect finish before we had to leave to go back home. Looking forward to a return !!!
They preach Great Mai Tai’s and they were terrible.
Either all sour mix or lime?
Had one two days earlier and was good then went back and they were terrible. You would think for $15 they would he awesome as a Mai tai in the states is $4.95.
Food is OK but not great and if of course very pricey for small portions.
Can’t say I would go back.
Nice restaurant. Good food, good service. Very loud and crowded.
We chose from the high end of the menu, and were underwhelmed. May have had a better experience in what I suppose to be their sweet spot - burgers, tacos, pizza, etc. very loud and jam packed. Good service.
We had great service! It was a very enjoyable experience!
Very good food. Crowded. Loud. Still a 15m wait even with reservation. Their Mai tai & Potstickers a must try. Saimin also very good. Fish tacos also good. Will recommend.
Outstanding food and service. Great menu options and the best ahi tuna I have ever had. I highly recommend!
We had a seat down reservation at 5pm.
We got to moneypod on time but it took the staff 20 mins to sit us and another 15 mins before we were attended to.
I am majorly disappointed with the service and as a result we missed the happy hour at 530pm.
Excellent as usual. This is my third time visiting Maui and each time we have gone to MonkeyPod. The food is always great and the drinks are second to none. This will be a regular stop for us whenever we visit the island.
Awesome service and fresh local food, never disappointed!
Food even the better than last years visit. Ahi tuna cooked to perfection. This is the best value in the Wailea area and food is equal to twice the price at the top tier restaurants. Reserve about 5 p.m. to get in on tail of happy hour.
Great place! Everyone loves this joint—you can’t really have any complaints—it’s just super good
Second time visit for lunch, not as on point. Burger prepared way underdone, poke tacos not prepared as requested. Server returned much too late to have burger redone. We’re gong back again for dinner before we leave back to the mainland. Hopefully back to my original review.
Pretty good food, loud and fun place.
This place was fun for a late night bite. The food was well prepared and we enjoyed the tasty drinks. Would recommend for a low key night on the island.
Best restaurant on Maui!!!!
No Ka Oui - the drink, is perfection. It also covers the overall experience.... there is none better
The coco corn cowder was the best!
