Monkeypod Kitchen by Merriman - Whalers Village
Waitress was AWSOME! Her recommendations were on point! Will return!
Great happy hour. Try the lobster devils egg!
Great pizza. Will go back. Recommend highly.
Food was delicious! And service was great! Pumpkin ravioli’s, mushroom truffle pizza and bahn mi burger all excellent! The cocktails were just as good. Love the ambiance and live music.
Always great food and service. Live music was really great. Split an entree as we wanted a big piece of pie for dessert. Monkey Pod is a must place to eat on Maui.
The waiter was friendly & very attentive.
Fish tacos were good & so were the fish & chips. Mai Tai's are amazing. All good!!!
Excellent food & service, I would highly recommend it!
Excellent mai tai! Good food and great server. Live musician was exceptional...his playlist, voice, and volume were perfect!
We had a great experience sitting at a table right beside the live musician (which they have all day). The food was amazing, and it’s true what people say- MonkeyPod has the best mai tai on Maui. The service was friendly and efficient and the view and ambiance was beautiful and laid back.
Brought my parents here for one of my favorite Maui eats. We’ve had Shannon as a server several times and she is the absolute BEST! Food is incredibly local and fresh. Save room for the strawberry cream pie! Seriously.
It's at the beach end of an outdoor shopping mall and the view is beautiful. It's a great stop for late lunch/happy hour and a bite to eat. After many days of rain, the sun was awesome to snack under :). The fish and chips were probably the best version I've had--a light batter, not greasy. A good experience overall!
For a not special night this is a good place. Casual with delicious pizza. Very big and noisy. Our waitress was good. Corn soup very good
Great location. The food and service were outstanding as usual. Just wished the drinks weren’t priced at $15 each.
As longtime fans of the Wailea location, we were disappointed with the attempt to scale up by a factor of 4 (at least) at the Whalers Village location. The service was friendly but rushed, the macnut Mahi was overcooked, the Ahi sauce had a gravy-like consistency, the drinks were unremarkable. A decent dinner, but expensive and a definite step down from Wailea.
Very busy and slow. Very noisy. Food was mediocre.
We come every year and always have a fun evening Can’t best happy hour. The best Mai Tai’s in Maui
Great location but average food. Service was prompt and the people pleasant. Go for the location, appetizers and drinks.
Excellent food and superb service. We were seated at a corner table with a great view, but unfortunately it was very windy and cool, making it a little harder to enjoy it as we would have on a nicer evening.
Best mai tai I’ve ever had. Catch happy hour for best prices. Excellent clean food. Perfect preparation and great attentive service. Expensive but not for the quality and area. Reservations are recommended as it was packed.
We were seated within 5 minutes of our reservation time. We requested outdoor seating which they honored as inside was really loud. The wait staff was pleasant and efficient. The food was excellent.
Everything was great with the exception of the noise, very very noisy
Pizzas were burnt on the bottom and sides.
Food was OK - ordered fish tacos, raw sampler and monchong special - fish was all overcooked. Service and ambiance was good.
Restaurant was too loud and we had trouble holding conversations at the table. Service, Food and refreshments were great!
Try the pumpkin ravioli appetizer! I will definitely be back for it - it was delicious and unusual!
Great atmosphere, food and exceptional service. Outstanding seared ahi. Take advantage of their happy hour for 1/2priced cocktails & appetizers
20 year Anniversary trip.
We had a great evening. Our table was looking out over Whalers Village/ocean. Our server, Katie, could not have been nicer or better. The food was delicious!
Great vibe and delicious food. I made a reservation here on the advice of a friend that I can get crowded and the wait can be long. We showed up 10 minutes early and were greeted by a very rude young man who said he wouldn’t be able to seat us until our reservation time which was fine but people who walked up without a reservation after us were seated before us. Why bother making a reservation? We ended up getting a great table but our initial welcome by this rude host was a turn off . Great food and the best Mai Tai I have ever had !
Too commercial. Nothing special. There are better options around the area.
The food and drinks are amazing! Britney was the best!
