   OMG those yogurt brunch biscuits with whipped tahini and jam! Heavenly! We also had the Shakshuka, a Grain Bowl and blissfully topped it off with Pavlova (for those new to this traditional Australian confection, imagine a fluffy cloud fell in love with fresh fruit and cream) Perfection!

   Momed is one of the great gems in LA. From the moment you walk through the entry with the Mediterranean kitchen on full display, to the open seating area warm and inviting. You instantly fall in love with Momed. The bar is the setting where you want to camp out and try any of the hand-crafted cocktails with the sumac chicken wings and grab an order of the cauliflower, too; the rice flour-based tempura is mind-blowing. Dinner at Momed is exceptional, too- starting with the Muhammara, the fermented pepper paste with the house-made sourdough pita is life-changing. You can't go wrong with anything on the small bites list; the smoked labni in the roasted beets is mouth-watering. For your main course, try everything, but the short rib with the zhoug is a go-to every time for me, and the striped bass is also fantastic. Momed will become your favorite spot as it has mine.

   Incredible food! We had the burrata with persimmons and celery, grilled prawns (Amazing!!!!!), short ribs and broccolini. Everything was so flavorful and beautifully paired flavors. Best broccolini I’ve ever had. Will return again. Everything was perfect for sharing.

   We have been loyal patrons of Momed for years, often choosing it for special occasions and memorable nights out. Unfortunately, our experience last night was deeply disappointing. We requested a patio table and when we arrived, we were seated inside in a cramped location. When we told management that we had requested an outside table, we were told they were full, even though multiple tables outside remained empty throughout our visit. Reluctantly, management moved us outside but not before lecturing on how to reserve a table in the future. The manager’s condescending tone when addressing our request was off-putting and unprofessional, leaving us feeling unwelcome. Service started off poorly, with a long wait just to place our drink order. However, our waitress was a bright spot—kind, attentive, and clearly doing her best despite seeming overwhelmed. Her genuine effort somewhat salvaged an otherwise negative experience. For a party of four, we spent over $500, and while the food was good, the lack of appreciation for long-time customers overshadowed everything else. Loyalty should mean something, but it’s clear this establishment no longer values its repeat guests. Sadly, after many years of dining here, we’ve decided we won’t be returning. A truly great restaurant is more than just food—it’s about hospitality, respect, and making every guest feel valued. Momed fell far short of that last night.

   One of the best dinners my husband and I have had, and since we make the most of our kid free date nights and visit places all over LA, we’ve tried a lot! The food was incredible, the service impeccable, and the ambience a good balance of hip, romantic, and still family friendly. Such a unique spot and I will be dreaming of the pita with whipped feta and chicken wings for days!

   We have gone to Momed many times and enjoyed it. But the food has become mediocre, while the prices have continued to rise and the service has declined. The restaurant, despite being outside, was too loud. Last night, it was hard to have a conversation for our table of 4. The restaurant wasn't full, but the maitre d' took our drink order saying the servers were busy, then when no server arrived to take our dinner order, he returned to take our order. I asked the man bringing our food for more pita, which was never delivered. No one ever came to refill the water or check on us. Then the maitre d' returned to ask us about dessert and give us the bill. We won't be returning.

   Hi Hilary, I am very sorry to hear of your experience with us last Sunday. Even though respectfully I would like to disagree with you about our food, it has never been better, I would like to apologies for the poor service you received on that day. Unbeknownst to us one of our neighbourhood businesses had an event and we ended up with an unexpected number of walk in guests that caused our serving staff the get overwhelmed. If you have been with us before you know that we are committed to providing an outstanding dinning experience to our guests, in this instance based on events outside of our control we dropped the ball with your table and again I am sorry you had to experience that. I regards to prices unfortunately that is not unique to us and is a reflection of our times.
