   Mizuna is my favorite restaurant for European food. It has different menus every season so I love going there. I am a 10 year customer and will continue to go there...

   Mizuna is a very special place. From the initial greeting until the farewell they carried off an exquisite culinary experience. Not to say they are nonchalant, but their confidence in their menu allows the servers to interact with us and make suggestions that we would not have arrived at by ourselves. The food is simply outstanding! It is not a restaurant that we go to each week, we save this experience for a very special occasion. We have eaten at many of Frank’s restaurants, Mizuna is at the pinnacle, and has been for many years! A true Denver landmark.

   One of the worst dining experiences of my life. The waiters behavior was so strange. He had an attitude and a way about him almost as if he was annoyed. He convinced us to trust the chef and get the tasting menu without describing what was on the menu. We asked for clarification but he never gave specifics on dishes and said we would be in good hands so we went for it. My friend specifically said no shellfish and he said that would be accommodated. The third course was lobster pasta..... He obviously knew this from the start but said nothing. The first course was fois gras pie. Utterly disappointing, after seeing my face upon tasting the food my friend did not even want to try hers. This really set the tone for the rest of the meal. The remaining courses were uninspired, bland, poorly executed, improper temperatures, too many ingredients, I could go on and on. The waiter never asked us if we liked the food or if something was wrong even though we ate maybe one or two bites of each course. I felt the head chef was not present in the kitchen. I was so confused by the food and how bad it tasted. I will never eat here again and I will be advising everyone I know to avoid it as well. I have no idea how this place stays open and receives the positive reviews it has. Do not eat here. Go to Barolo instead, it’s stellar and half the price with a much more modern and classy atmosphere. They did comp our tasting menus in the end in an attempt to save face. I stand by my review despite that last ditch effort.

   Fantastic food and service! We tried the chef's tasting menu and the ingredients were so fresh, plating beautiful and portion sizes just right. Our server did a great job describing the dishes to us upon arrival, paired wine perfectly with our meal and was very attentive during the entire dinner service. We will definitely be back again soon!

   One of the best resturants I've ever been to. Doesn't look great from the outside, but once you step in, and try the food, you'll understand.

    Wonderful service, wine list and tasting menu. Slightly pricy but worth it. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner.
