This place is just so well put together and the staff and food are amazing . I went a few days ago and came back and brought my partner , she’s a Japanese American and loved it as well . Thank you mizu . I will be back a lot . 🙏
Great sushmi and service was amazing especially because it was extremely busy on a Sunday night.
Very good. Cucumber gimlet was our favorite drink.
Can't say enough good things about this place. Great food, vibe and management!
Excellent customer service and quality of food! We love this place and it never fails us! The ambiance and food is amazing ! Shut out to Joyce and Anna 🍾🍾❤️
Delicious! We got the spicy edamame, brussel sprouts and 3 specialty rolls. Great service, fantastic ambiance and tasty food.
Loved the ambiance!
Nothing wrong with the food. I'm thinking they maybe understaffed.... took a hour to get my one entree. My friend finished before receiving the simple order. Waitress was apathetic and customer service was not that great. Hoping this isn't the norm. They were fairly busy that evening.
Waitress was great, sushi was ok- overpriced in my opinion!
Waited over 45 minutes for our rolls, drinks were made wrong and never corrected. Manager never talked to the table. Bad impression for 1st time eating and for business dinner. Server never refilled drinks nor check on the table. I had to ask for a discount when we received the bill. He comped the table next to us who came in after us. Tables around us that came in later received their food and were gone. The manager gave us $14.00 off a $174 bill. Will never be back was good food but the service was poor and left a bad impression.
Definitely not one of the “best ramen” in Denver (per a food critic). And their service left a lot to be desired. Cute atmosphere if you want to hang out with friends, but make time, the kitchen is fairly slow and disorganized (ex: entrees before appetizers, all your guests’ meals don’t come out at the same time).
Amazing service and quality as usual! We love this place, and highly recommended it!!!
The food was incredible! Probably best sushi I’ve had in Denver so far - our server was awesome as well.
Service was great. The place has a fun vibe. Sushi was good quality in taste but the preparation was mediocre. We got the omakase sashimi, and one of the pieces had a bone in it. First time in my life I ever found a bone on my sushi that I had to spit out. I told the waiter, and he said he’d tell the sushi chef. Not sure I’ll be rushing back, but decent food in a nice ambiance.
Mizu is always a great experience!
Our experience was fantastic! The food and drinks were great and the ambiance was exactly what we hoped for! Highly recommend!
Sushi is fresh and delicious! Waitress forgot to put in our appetizers~ so those were delayed. This is my 3rd time eating here and a top sushi restaurant in Denver, worth the $.
Very energetic & nice aesthetic. We enjoyed the Uni carbonara, duck ramen & dragon roll. For the hype & price, you’d think the service would be better. We won’t be back but it was nice to try :)
My party of four was first sat at an awkward table for 5 or 6, when I asked for a 4 top we were move near the bathrooms in the far corner of the restaurant - plenty of better options were available. Oh well, my bad. I should have left. Sushi was ok, but not great. Far better options in town, including Sushi Den, Taki Sushi and Izakaya Den to name a few. Should have known better...
Jonesing for creative Izakaya menu. Found it! The oshinko sealed the deal for me: love me some fresh, crunch-worthy daikon. Hubby not a fan of sushi but happy w edamame, their excellent pan-seared gyoza and crispy chicken karaage. Sat at high table in bar still early in evening: service was superb. Already jonesing for my next visit!
So good! Great service, amazingly fresh fish, wonderful atmosphere! Can't wait to come back.
The sushi might be my new favorite in Denver! The restaurant is very sleek looking. Our waiter was very nice but did admit he forgot about us a couple times. I’ll definitely be going back!
Best sushi we have ever had! Restaurant was so much fun, beautiful and greattt food!
We had a wonderful experience celebrating my son’s birthday at Mizu Izakaya. The food was fresh, delicious and creative. The service was efficient and hospitable. We will definitely return soon!
Amazing experience with friendly staff and great food! Can’t wait to visit again
This place is absolutely incredible! One of the best sushi places I have ever been to. The udon noodles were a particular favorite during our visit, and you can't go wrong with their sushi rolls- just pick your favorite or even venture out, they are amazing. I believe I got the dragon roll and spicy tuna roll. Absolutely AMAZING. Highly recommend this place.
Great sushi. I couldn’t get a table at uchi and this was a great alternative.
Sat at the bar hoping for a quick bite. Ordered 1 roll and 3 nigiris, it took about an hour to get these. The server was very nice and kept apologizing, gave us an edamame for the wait. But still don't understand how it took that long, the restaurant wasn't even full and there were 4 staff at the bar making sushi. Temperature of the sushi is a huge factor on the taste. Our nigiri was probably sitting for a while as it was room temperature and did not taste as fresh.
Could've been a better experience if they were on top it... Not coming back.
Great sushi, very attentive, wonderful staff. Drinks were great and so were the appetizers
Extremely disappointed. The service even on a Monday night was terrible. I had to wait an hour and a half for one role of sushi.
First time visit for us and enjoyed the atmosphere. The menu was varied and the dishes we ordered were all quite good. The beer and sake selections were numerous. I will certainly be back.
We dined with Andrea and he is fantastic! Food was great, edamame is underwhelming but the sushi and miso soup were delicious
Had a threat time in our date night. Food and drinks were great. Very visit and service was a little slow. But overall great experience!
Everything about this place was wonderful and delicious. Our only gripe was their Omakase isn't what would normally be called Omakase. It's not carefully or thoughtfully plated dishes that take the diner on a journey but more of a plate brought out with chefs selected cuts. Also they don't read the reservation notes because they didn't acknowledge my wife's birthday until it was mentioned again at the beginning of our meal.
Arrived early in the evening with a reservation (4:15 pm). Promptly seated, but then forgotten. 20 minutes later I walked to the bar to get a drink. 30 minutes after being seated (3 other tables seated and ordered drinks+appetizers) we are finally acknowledged. Tried three appetizers, two rolls, and 16 pieces of sashimi. Everything was good, but not on par with sushi den, Izakaya den, or even Happa. I get it that tables are forgotten sometimes, but absolutely nothing was done to apologize for or even acknowledge their oversight. I definitely would choose ANY other sushi restaurant before trying this trendy, but short of the mark restaurant again.
Great place, great sushi
Service was terrible and we were there on a Monday night. some things didn't arrive until well after our meal was over, server seemed disinterested.
The appetizers are amazing. Their steak skewers were also very delicious!
We got the wrong yakitori and the chicken ones were a bit over cooked but overall the food was excellent. They weren't totally full on a Thursday night but we're mostly full so the food took quite a while to come out. We had a party of 4 and we were there for 3 hours but we did try a lot of different food. We would definitely go back, it was delicious!
Came to dinner with a new friend and it was great! We had fun taking over the meal and the seating was great!
I love this place- this is my 3rd visit in two weeks!
