Our waitress was absolutely awful and she was training new staff. What? That needs to be corrected immediately. Other then the service, the food and company were amazing. Love beverly hills.
It was a great experience, but the food was absolutely horrible. One of the worst dinners I’ve ever had.
Expectations super excited! Thank you Mirame For making our first date night out in a very long time a memorable one for the books! We had the venison tartare, oysters on the half shell, sea bass, salsa trio And topped it off with some delicious spicy margaritas. Our compliments to the chef. We will most certainly be back and be sure to tell all our family and friends ;-) xo
Some real hits with the food and some big misses (especially with the cocktails.) The Pacific Striped Bass and Smoked Birria was hands down my favorite, as well as the Ceviche. Very good guacamole, and this is important to me. The Brown Butter Mochi Cake was quite the experience, so many different flavors going on in my mouth, that was enjoyable! Unfortunately the cocktails, many Mezcal based were not tasty and just too bizarre. Out of the 5 drinks, all were misses unfortunately. The duck was not great sadly, and the other 2 small plates dishes we had were just ok. However, as a foodie, I did enjoy getting to try some truly new flavor pairings, it was an adventure.
The environment and location is amazing. Love the music in the background. I would like to see a little more variation in the cuisine. Maybe a chile relleno, or more beef plates. All round a great place to check out.
Best restaurant in Los Angeles!
Every time I go here there is always something exciting to try on the menu.
Cocktails are unbelievable!
Beautiful space. Some items on menu were amazing (Quesabirra) others were just OFF (Duck carnitas, potato thing was so bland and boring)....the salsa/avocado came with 4 whole tiny tortillas. It is was silly. Ordered bottle water, got tiny shot glasses to drink out of...dessert was a winner (we had ALL OF THEM, Flan, Pear donut, Carrot cake etc)
Net net in an attempt to have a creative menu- they failed to assure they taste great reliably or suit the California palate.
Service tried. But they NEVER came to table voluntarily- I had to track down waiter for every.single. thing.
Also the main course was served to 3 of us, and the 4th (ME, who picked this place for my mothers day) came 5 mins later. Was bad. I might stop by for lunch again if I am shopping and need a cocktail...but will not book for a meal.
We had great ceviche and spectacularly presented deep fried baja snapper that was as delicious as it was photo-worthy. Service was good too. The only gripe was that, after ordering $20 guacamole appetizer that arrived in microscopic portions, when we asked for more tostada chips, they had the audacity to charge us $5 for 4 additional small pancake size hard tortilla chips. Seriously? They must cost 5 cents to make. And no one bothered to tell us it was extra. We would've declined, but no one told us.
The food was outstanding. The server was very friendly. The vegetarian options were appreciated. There may be a communication issue between the bar and the staff. It would be nice to be able to reserve outdoors specifically and arranging that was surprisingly cumbersome. We were disappointed when passing the kitchen to see a kitchen worker with a mask under his chin rather than on his face.
It's consistently a great place with great and warm staff.
The food is interesting but very overpriced
Drinks were not good, food was the same. Keep things authentic, felt like they were trying to hard to add their own twists to dishes. Keep. It. Simple.
Good but a not traditional Mexican food so we probably should have reviewed the menu before we booked as it was Cinco De Mayo and we were expecting a more traditional Mexican food experience. Good drinks
The hostess was far from nice. We politely requested a table near the entrance and literally was taken to the last table at the back of the patio. The host and the assistants to the host need a ton of training on service and being polite. It ruined the whole experience.
Our server Katelyn (spelling?) was exceptional! Great pairing Recs and extremely attentive!
The service was wonderful but the food & drinks were awful
Will Come back, food and experience was amazing, service was outstanding
Always good meal and ambiance
Excellent food. Great outdoors. Portions are a little small. Service is a little slow
We booked a table for our wedding anniversary while staying in a very posh hotel in LA. I must admit that the restaurants in the hotel and nearby area were much better yet more expensive.
Some food is delicious
Waitress is unaware what the dish is going look or taste
Long wait between ordering and having food on your table
Wrong orders in the check be aware
Nothing special really at all:)
The food was very strange and way to complicated and just didn’t have good flavor combinations. It’s a nice space but the service wasn’t very good and the food was way below what I was hoping for. The bass appetizer was inedible, I won’t be back.
Used to love this place but they removed and/or changed lots of things on the menu.
Been here many times before- loved food and ambiance. Arrived to a half full restaurant for an early reservation and was walked to the back parking lot where they have created a makeshift back patio in the alley parking lot. Doesn’t feel at all like the rest of the restaurant, so we asked to move to one of the other many empty tables. I was told no, they are all reserved. Well we had a reservation too... didn’t make any effort to accommodate us so we paid for our one drink and departed. They didn’t seem at all concerned to lose our business, so message received. I have been coming here since they first opened and was a supporter due to the great menu, but the service has unfortunately turned me completely off. Won’t be back.
Excellent as always
Be careful not to order too much food and add up the cost. The server said the dishes are tapas style so we ordered 5 dishes total for 3 people; 3 appetizers, 1 from the middle section of the menu which was pork belly and one from the main course wish was the $85 fried snapper. The dishes ARE NOT tapas style. They are pretty large and heavy so by the time the snapper was brought we couldn’t eat much and it was pretty much wasted. The drinks were so so as other reviewers said. My favorite was ceviche and pork belly. Our server was very nice and classy. All and all with the high cost and quality it’s a place that I wouldn’t go back after trying it once.
We came here for a special occasion and we were seated in the most low class part of the restaurant right next to the electric panel. Despite there being available seats in the more appropriate part of the restaurant, the host did not accommodate to give us proper seating. I would not recommend this restaurant at all. We came to enjoy a Beverly Hills experience and that is not what it felt like. Additionally, the food was not appetizing at all. The “catch of the day” was frozen and had a terrible odor.
was disappointed at caliber of food since menu seemed interesting,
service lackluster, music too loud and not conducive to real dining
and overall would not recommend
Terrible overpriced food that is probably made to look good on Instagram photos
Fabulous fresh food, well thought out and prepared.
The cerviche was delicious. It was loud. Our server was at our table every couple of minutes asking if we were ready to order as we enjoyed our drinks. We had an early reservation and wanted to catch up on conversation but it seemed liked they wanted to turn our table over. The same over attention continued through the meal. Our conversation was continually interrupted to the point of being annoying. This place is good but pricey and the service could be better.
If I were the chef I would be upset. Food delivered to table cold, garbage cans back and forth by tables, rude blonde hostess, kind of douchy man bun manager. It’s tough with Covid but others doing it much better. Sad, really wanted to like it.
The food was absolutely perfect. Service was great- shoutout to Katey. Cocktails were perfect. Ambiance and decor was also truly beautiful. Will be coming back again.
The restaurant was beautiful. We had great service & excellent food. Each dish was meticulously prepared with creative flavors & style.
ok service, very poor quality food, spent $300 for two (three appetizers, one steak to share, two margaritas) -total waste of money. will never go there again.
Customer service was great! I was expecting a bit more in terms of drinks and food
Literally the most divine experience from beginning to end. The snapper is the best dish I have ever had! My new favorite restaurant in LA
Great overall - accommodating regarding an outdoor seating request. Thank you!
We were told the dishes were tapas-style, meant for sharing; when the first plate came out, it was a very average-sized tostada, and our first thought was - "we're supposed to share this?? The next plate - 2 lamb tacos - was able to be shared and was delicious! The next was bluefin tuna tostada and was below average in flavor; we did not finish them. The server was sweet and helpful but had to practically yell for us to hear her through two masks and plastic face shield - an unfortunate necessity - and over the annoyingly loud music. I definitely expected better from Beverly Hills...
Fantastic service and delicious food! Highly recommended!
Very salty. Odd combination of flavors. Terrible service
