The service, ambiance and food were topnotch. Certainly a wonderful place to go a special occasion.
Food was adequate, not great.
Ambiance is beautiful!
Server was attentive.
Mille Fleurs is the most competent restaurant in San Diego County. The service is top-notch without being cloying. Food is reliably very good, very carefully prepared, well composed and well presented. It's somewhat expensive, but paying a little less for mediocre food is a worse deal.
Wonderful experience from start to finish. The service was outstanding and the food was excellent. It was a quiet night midweek which was perfect for an intimate meal. The restaurant is cozy so even though it was fairly empty, it didn’t feel like it because the dining areas are somewhat separated. I also thought the portions quite generous for French fine dining, which was welcome given the price. We will definitely be back!
Brought my inlaws in after raving about the restaurant for years. They just moved to Rancho Sante Fe and i wanted them to know great local places to go out to. The food was outstanding firstly as it was my first time dining here with the new chef. The issue we had was the terribly long time it took for our waiter to take our orders and then a very long lag time on our food arriving at our table. Inlaws complained to me of course about how the service was lagging. What can i say. Doubt they will return but I will gladly give it another try and hoping it was an off night.
Marco super wine expert
Amazing wine list
The new young chef seems to be still finding his way. It is still a French restaurant in atmosphere and service but now with an American large portion menu. The identity of the restaurant therefore is confused.
There are lots of fine American food restaurants around but that was not what Mille Fleurs was about.
So far something has been lost.
As usual the service and atmosphere was excellent. I thought the food was pricey and the portions were on the small side. There is a new chef. The quality of the food was excellent.
Went for a pre-holiday season lunch with a friend. Lovely prix-fixe menu. Service was lovely. Food delicious. Great wine compliments with our meal
Bertrand is fun as usual and a great host. The Oaxacan drink was great. Food was excellent as usual. Maybe do a change in decor? Bar always fun
One of our continuing favorites. The menu continues with some classics plus some interesting (and delicious) new items. Service is, as always, excellent.
Outstanding in every respect. However, the 4 percent add-on charge is offensive. If needed to make the business profitable simply raise prices.
Our favorite restaurant in the San Diego area. Expect to pay premium prices for outstanding food and service. My wife thoroughly enjoyed her Muscovy duck and my salmon was delicious. Don't miss dessert--terrific. Great place for a special occasion.
Wonderful resultant. Haven’t been in years and it was even better than I remembered. An absolute must if you’re staying anywhere in the San Diego area.
A great place to Splurge on yourself and date. They take extra special care to meet every expectation.
Service was outstanding, but they didn't have all the options in the menu (and their aren't as many to begin with) and the food was good, but nothing memorable or that would validate the price.
Impecable service!! Delicious menu items! Great wine selection
Great Service, Staff and Great Food
Food was mediocre (went for restaurant week had the tomato soup, sent it back because it tasted like marinara sauce, duck tasted like turkey not duck, friend said the whitefish was bland, luckily deserts were great). Service was pretty good, a couple of long waits and kept serving me from the wrong side which, for a French restaurant, is bad. Definitely was not worth the price. Ambience was fine but the lighting wasn't great especially for my outfit. Would not recommend.
You can’t go wrong here. Everything is wonderful. Expensive but worth the price for a special occasion.
Originally for wrong temperature for steak, dessert took longer, no comps. Food was good, but waiting didnt help.
I really love this restaurant! Live music and excellent food and service.
Dined at Mille Fleurs with close family and friends gathered to celebrate a family wedding. Driving up to Rancho Santa Fe is always a treat and to arrive at a restaurant so beautiful, was the icing on the cake. The food was outstanding and its presentation was sensational. I would recommend Mille Fleur to anyone looking for a dining experience they'll never forget.
Amazing device and food with music
We redeemed an OpenTable gift certificate for this, thinking it was going to be like a Michelin star restaurant experience (except without the stars). We did the 5 course tasting option for $90 per person. Simply put, the food was not up to our expectations. It was mediocre for someone who has been to similarly priced high end French restaurants before. If this was your first multi-course high end experience, then it would be considered good, but not for the price. The ambiance was very nice, the wait staff did an excellent job, and the wine list was great. We wanted to love it, but were super disappointed by the food. Not very flavorful at all, even when compared to tasting experiences for half the price elsewhere in San Diego. There's just something missing for the price, location, and ambiance.
From the time you walk in until you walk out everything is 5-Star!
Food was good. I prefer wait staff not keep asking me how I am doing with my dinner.
You were out of lobster salads which is your lunch go to.
Lovely evening. Sat outside. Enjoyed delicious appetizers, main dishes of salmon and venison, and a great bottle of wine recommended to us. Perfect night. Love the okra side dish!
Outstanding service and wine list. The food was superb as well.
The service and food were positively outstanding. The sommelier spent a great deal of time with us, and we are wine novices. Both our waiter and the sommelier made us feel welcome and comfortable. Wonderful experience.
This is one of my favorite restaurants.
Great food, terrific service, great bar and bartender.
The very best restaurant in San Diego. Sean, Marco, and the entire staff make you feel special and welcome. They’re mindful that the reason why you chose their restaurant is for the experience. You will not have a better evening anywhere else.
Cute, quaint restaurant with friendly staff and delicious food! Perfect for our Anniversary!
Great food, the calimari salad was outstanding.
Wonderful! Great food and ambiance. The bar afterwards was great for drinks and the piano playing.
As usual Mille Fleurs provided an exceptional dining experience. The food and service was excellent. My swordfish was as good as I have ever eaten.
A little pretentious, but generally good food and service.
A very unpleasant dining experience, $360.00 for fish and risotto for 4 people...The service was totally unacceptable...The restaurant was almost empty on a Saturday night... Worst dining experience...Do not waste your time or your money in their *fancy* ancient restaurant... Maitre'D was told, could care less...Server was a total incompetent...Had to hire a search & rescue team for server to take check...I will never go back or recommend to anyone ever!!...
