Excellent food as always and relaxed friendly service.
Excellent venue, fantastic meal, very attentive staff with all requests inc g/f catered for. Highly recommended for any occasion.
NYE set menu. Very full but they coped well and the food was delicious. In the circumstances very well done!
A great meal to celebrate in the NY. We’d booked the tasting menu at 9.15pm. Had planned to walk up the hill to see the fireworks but service was quite slow so we were still eating at midnight. Oh well, there’s always next year to see the fireworks. We accepted that it wasn’t going to happen and we enjoyed our meal there instead. The food was really amazing!
We thought the food was really delicious. Because it was New Year’s Eve and our slot was very early at 6.15pm, (we left it very late to book) the ambience was somewhat lonely when we first arrived. All staff were welcoming and charming and they had the timing down to a T. They were fitting in three seatings over the evening including 11pm - 1am. This did mean the plates were removed rather fast and the price was high. But the 4-course tasting menu including an excellent glass of champagne was worth it. We were seated in the old horse tunnel which filled up nicely and the atmosphere was good.
We will definitely go again. By far the best place in Primrose Hill we have been to and we have visited two of the other most competitive restaurants in the neighbourhood recently.
The food was well above average as usual. Slight annoyances were that service was very slow - probably due to a Xmas party - but I'm not sure our waiter was too bothered. The starter portions are pretty small. And the draft by the door was unwelcome given the prices. But you have to say the food is worth coming back for.
Stunning meal, food was perfect. The waiter was incredibly helpful. Lovely experience.
I had dinner at Michael Nadra several times this year and it’s always a real treat. The food is amazing, great service and I love all the different seating areas from the conservatory in spring, the outdoor terrace in summer and the stylish but cosy room with the big fireplace in winter. It’s definitely one of my favourite places to go for a special night out.
Would highly recommend the tasting menu with the wine pairing. Great food and awesome service. Well worth checking out.
Really great food, just being a Sunday night the place was dead (only 3 tables including us) so in the 'cellar' part of the restaurant, main dining room closed. Bit disappointing. Maybe they should close on Sunday evenings ? we've been before (in the main dining room) and it was totally different ambiente
Always exceptional! Food and Service alike. Arguably best sunday roast in London and the al la carte is all delicious too! My 9 year old, whilst happily tucking into her roast dinner, put her fork down and exclaimed “this is the best roast chicken I’ve ever tasted”. Michael Nadra really is a must try! It will then become a firm favourite, of that I have no doubt!
Fabulous cooking and service.
Lovely food and amazing service!! Will be going back very soon
Best place ever! our steak was OMG to die for as well as our starters everything was delicious. Staff amazing and Michael is very welcoming and caring. definitely I will go back again very soon
Cuisine succulente, service attentionné, cadre charmant: tous les ingrédients pour une très belle soirée.
A memorable meal. Cannot praise it highly enough. We had the tasting menu and it was superb in every way
It was Wonderful! Service was amazing and good was delicious.
food is mixed, starter was excellent, main ok. service mixed, some friendly others not. maybe would be better for wine lovers, we are tee total
Excellent food and service. Bit cold in the dining room ! Very nice experience though , and highly recommended
Food was fantastic. The background music was a little loud for our liking and it felt a bit chilly in the conservatory.
Arrived early to have cocktails at the bar. Always perfect and the attention to detail is apparent. We all felt very welcome due to the restaurant manager and his team. Sad to hear he is leaving. We ordered our meals and of course the staff were friendly, knowledgable and helpful. I always have a great experience here. Excellent wine pairing by the waiter and all the meals were spot on. The flavour, balance and matching of the sides seemed harmonic. I keep recommending this restaurant and of course will keep coming back. May I add, the manager gave me a hug good bye. Great guy! I will miss him.
We’ll be back on Saturday!
Thank you so much for all delicious food, Champagne and Fabulous Michael Nadra experience.
We enjoyed a lovely birthday lunch (4 friends), and had some great choices from the Express lunch menu. A delicious bottle of house white accompanied the meal which was excellent.
The food was truly magnificent and the service excellent.
The restaurant have done well with the design of the space available, however the narrowness of each area does result in a slight lack of ambience.
The staff is always warm friendly and professional and the food and wine are very good! We were seated downstairs in the basement this time though and it felt a little like a cave which wasn’t that pleasant. Last time we were seated upstairs outside which was fabulous!!! Overall a very nice dining experience.
We decided to celebrate our wedding ceremony with a small group of family and friends there. Firstly because of the fine food, presentation, elegance and flavour. Secondly for the great atmosphere of the place, and it didn’t disappoint us. They gave us privacy, and the staff was amazing, as you expect it from a place like this, however you don’t always get it in some places!
Really outstanding, thank you so much for helping us to have a great time and enjoy company and food.
Great food and service. Free sorbet was given to all because of a slight delay in dessert
Never disappoints, great food and wine pairings. Lovely patio perfect for Saturday or Sunday lunch.
I went to Micheal Nardra for a romantic date. After the waiter seated us we received warm bread and butter. I shared a scallop starter with my partner. The dish was quite small but excellent. I had the asian-inspired sea bass and my guest the lamb with stuffed aubergines. It the starter seemed a bit small the mains portions were quite generous. The bass was cooked perfectly, the asian herbs complementing the fish well without overpowering it. The lamb was also coked perfectly, all the sides and sauces creating a harmonious earthy main.
We enjoyed a lovely lunch on the outside terrace of Michael Nadra. Although we only ordered starters, we enjoyed our light lunch and will come again soon.
Lovely food, really friendly and relaxed service. Multiple dining areas from Al fresco dinning to intimate former tunnel. Great wines and cocktails too. Added bonus, awesome background music from our former DJ host.
Really lovely food !! Had a great time with my family, had the tasting menu which was delicious at every course
Was a great experience, from the moment we walked in to the moment we left. Pleasant attentive waiter. Great ambience. The food was great too and a nice little hidden location. She was impressed anyway lol
We LOVED this restaurant. Food was excellent as was the service and the drinks. Outdoor dining was lovely. We will be back!
It was our first visit to this restaurant and we were surprisingly pleased with the location, food and service. We tried the two tasting menus and they were all beautifully presented with a lovely taste. We will go back there again.
The testing menu was excellent and the service very friendly and helpful
Great experience with the 1 Michelin Star restaurant.
Our recent visit was very disappointing. We were kept waiting for at least 10 minutes as there was no one at the entrance desk. The service was very slow and unenthusiastic. We were given the drinks menu and then had to wait at least half an hour for someone to come and take our drinks order. The waiter asked if we would like more bread, we said we would but then never received any! Every request seemed like too much bother for the staff. The restaurant was not even busy!
We had relatives visiting from USA and quite frankly we were very disappointed and embarrassed.
We have been a couple times over the last 6 months and repeatedly we have had a lovely experience. The food is delicious and innovative without being radical for the sake of being radical. The chef discovers what makes sense beyond what is simply obvious. The service also really stands out. Friendly without being too familiar and incredibly gracious. Genuine service with a smile and a touch of sense of humour which makes it a joy to interact with the team. Since the location is not on a beaten path (unless a stroll along the canal between Primrose Hill and Camden is your norm)...it does need to be well known to succeed in the long term and I would gladly share my recommendation to anyone as I would like it to stay. Thank you for a wonderful evening out once again.
Great food. Great service which is rare in London and will continue to go back. When the server hand stuffs Olives with blue cheese for your martini you’ve found a great spot!
