I dropped in to try Chilli Nachos simply because I had not been there before. It was cheap and cheerful Mexican food, mainly protein and carbs - nothing wrong with that so long as you know what to expect but equally nothing that would attract me back in a hurry. The main eating area is downstairs with no natural light and not particularly inspiring.

popped in for a quick lunch during work. service was good, really pleased with the food and it came out nice and quick. Tasty, good quality. Not much ambience but we only had one other party dining at the same time as us. I would visit again.

I was expecting an authentic Mexican but it felt like a fast food establishment. The food was average and had little taste, which for a Mexican says a lot. The fajitas came with the smallest tortillas and when we asked the waiter for bigger he said they were 50p each. I had the tacos for main but they turned up the size of a starter, so ended up having to buy a further main. The service was good but the food was a big let down

The staff were charming but the service unimaginably slow given we were the only two diners in the entire restaurant during the whole of our visit. I asked for chicken tacos without tomatoes and was brought one brimming with them - all after a 40 minute wait. As the meal was cold it was hard to understand the delay or the difficulty in understanding No Tomatoes! The music was too loud for me and while it's probably great on a busy workday, it was funereal on a Saturday evening. I didn't enjoy the meal or the decor but I did enjoy my friend's company!
