   Was celebrating my birthday dinner with family. Loved the food and the ambience and was super impressed by Brenda and Phia both of whom took great care of us and especially our daughter. Definitely recommend this place for celebrating a great occasion with family and friends.

    Not only did I have beautiful company; The food, service, view, and overall atmosphere at Merois made for an unforgettable experience. Our server Michael did a fantastic job selecting the dishes to fit our tastes and even finished off with a nice dessert and coffee. 10/10 recommend.

    We went the day before Valentine’s… and it was very special. Our first time, and we were really impressed. The rooftop location is perfect and the decor and view were magical. An extra bonus was being greeted by Wolfgang while we were awaiting our table. Over the top! The food and the service was his typical: Excellent. The fried fish was his recommendation. Amazing. We will definitely go back on another special occasion.

    There were menu items on open table that were not on lunch menu. Tuna etc.. servers even mentioned some of their favorite items being taken off. The cauliflower was good. As well as the potstickers. But other items were mediocre. A male server drenched salad in dressing before handing it to me. Beautiful view though and nice wine selection. Just don’t expect too much on minimal menu. Bring back the good items.

    This place has the most beautiful view of Weho! The food is absolutely delicious and the drinks are just has good! My fave is the Purple Haze. As for service, we ran into a hiccup. Our reservations was for 8pm but the party before us was taking so long that we didn’t get seated until almost 9:30. And this was on a Tuesday night! However the staff felt bad and made it up to us with a couple rounds of drinks and later on the chef even surprised us with 2 additional food items that were compliments of the house to thank us for our patience. Suffice it to say had so much food that we called up some friends to join us. Overall it we had an amazing time with exceptional food & service. I will definitely be coming back!!

    Beautiful place to enjoy the city. We love coming up here however our server was terrible. Took forever to order drinks and took forever to get our food, when we ordered dessert, then he brought our bill before checking if we got our dessert, we have to keep asking for water refill. My personal opinion, waiter does not share tips or share fairly with bus boy/runner and bartender.

    Merois is a standout in every category—gorgeous design and views; personable, efficient service; great Sunset Strip location; and, most importantly, delicious food and drinks. It's an impressive place, but not so intimidating that you feel uncomfortable. The menu is set up so that you can have a traditional appetizer-plus-entree dinner… or, if you prefer, mix and match from the small plates to put together whatever you like. Everything I've tried here has been great. One note: valet parking is not on Sunset itself; you have to drive down the side street (Olive) and then turn left into the motor court. Let them know you're dining at Merois and they'll take care of the rest. Highly recommended—for date night, for visiting friends, for business, for anytime you deserve a treat. It's one of my favorite restaurants in LA.

    I made reservations for my wife’s birthday. Since it was a Wednesday evening and a rainy day in LA, it was a bit slower than usual (which was perfect. Our server Jonathan was outstanding. From the moment he greeted us to the moment we paid our bill, his service, personality, recommendations made the experience much more enjoyable. We got seated at the perfect table indoors with a money short of Sunset Blvd. Now- let me start with the food. It is more on the higher price point for luxury cuisine. Portions are fair & I recommend sharing. We ordered the meatball skewers, crab fried rice, octopus, and the boneless fish as the main entry. Everything was delicious! To drink, the wines are immaculate. I got a 2016 Pinot Noir Vintage. And to top off the night, our server gave us a complimentary Rosè which was so nice and refreshing & a chocolate cake. Definitely would come again! Oh- and the lemon meringue is a MUST HAVE!

    Merois is fantastic restaurant. The service is perfect, the food is diverse and well prepared. You can't go wrong ordering any of the starters or entrees and the desserts are fantastic. Pricing is within reason for food quality and the ambiance of the location and view. I had the NY steak and my friend had the pork shank. Both were prepared perfect. If you are planning a special occasion, Merois will help you make it memorable.

    I love it here. My husband and I come every time we are in LA. We usually have lunch at the bar, then dinner in the bar or dining room. It’s pricey, but the quality is always there. Great staff (we adore the bar team in particular). The tuna and salmon sashimi are the best I have ever had, and it eat a ton of sushi! Thank you, Merois! We love you!

    The food was excellent. I loved the Lobster, the purple cheese cake and the red thai curry. I especially loved the view, my family and I enjoyed my birthday dinner here and we could see all the way from Downtown LA to Bevery Hills. I had an amazing night.

    Came here for my anniversary and it was an amazing experience. We went for lunch and it wasn't hectic at all. I requested a table by the window, which I highly recommend for unobstructed views. Food was delicious, we ordered the Kung pao cauliflower, oysters, the baby back ribs, and octopus. Our favorite was the cauliflower, it just was packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. I'm super picky with my octopus, and this one was amazing in flavor. I do wish the portion was a little bigger, but still really good. Overall it was the best experience for our special day and I'd come back more than once. Definitely want to dinner next time!

    The service staff themselves are outstanding!! Excellent! However the food is not worth the price and is a major disappointment unfortunately. The menu needs to be reworked. For what you pay the food is beyond subpar (and that is putting it nicely). Overall would not recommend, but the wait staff is great.

    Beautiful venue, warm and attentive staff but ultimately a disappointment. The desserts were spectacular. Everything else was so spicy as to obliterate the nature of the quality ingredients. The octopus, the sauces for the medley of tempura mushrooms, unique salad and especially the too tough to cut broccolini were just too spicy and I love spicy! The Asian-French fusion didn't work for me sometimes tasting like a gingered mole with hot sauce. Because the place is so physically inviting I might go back for a special occasion and order from the menu's raw bar offerings. I would not recommend this restaurant without a warning!

    I’m very disappointed in having a $400 bill for mediocre food, especially while choosing this place to celebrate my anniversary. The one positive thing that I can say is the servers were amazing. The server did drop the ball for recommending a drink that was disgusting. The fact that I left it on the table was enough of a hint to realize that I didn’t enjoy it.
