   Great evening! The food was delicious. the restaurant is beautiful and trendy. excellent service. The reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars is because the dessert could have been better. The banana cream pie is too thick and the custard a little pasty. I will go back and recommend it to others.

   The wait staff was excellent, he was knowledge about the food and menu. The food was subpar for a 5 star restaurant. The portions are small and overpriced. The spicy chicken sandwich was mild and not seasoned, let alone spicy. The steak was fatty and not unseasoned as well.

   We’ve been to this restaurant a few times, and I’ve always had a great experience. But this last time it was horrible. Our waiter was aloof and completely screwed up on our order. It took 90 minutes to get our food and instead of getting appetizers first we got everything all at once. The weather did not seem apologetic. We did talk to the manager, and that was better. I would hate to see this restaurant not be good, because the food is fantastic

    Emeril needs to get of hole shopping network and pay attention to his restaurant. Drinks never came and had to remind server. All tables seated after us got food and we sat there waiting. They finally admitted they screwed up our food order. So both bar and kitchen failed. Sorry to leave a bad review, but they earned it.

    Beautiful restaurant. Apps were good. Lamb ribs tough and fatty/gristle and not worth $36 for a plate with four skinny ribs and nothing else. Drinks were plentiful and good.

    Wonderful food and wine list. Very attentive service. Like so many new restaurants it's high ceilings and hard surfaces, so the noise volume level is very high, but not as bad as some places. Nice view of the kitchen.

    I had the Burger and the Korean Wings. The burger was slightly over cooked, and I realized afterwards that I wasn’t asked my preferred temperature. The wings were too saucy. Nothing outstanding about the meal or the service.

    The service was absolutely fantastic and the food was quite good. Not the place for a quiet meal, although it was Mothers Day so every table was occupied. Perhaps on a non-holiday it wouldn’t be quite so boisterous. All in all an excellent choice! The Croque Madam brunch flatbread was really delicious!

    We are local Warehouse District residents and regular diners at Meril; we had a late afternoon Chef’s Counter seating on Mother’s Day and it was wonderful. The house was full, yet the entire staff was attentive, as if choreographed, and the cocktails, food and wine were simply superb, promptly served, and the waiter service by Justin and team was terrific. And a Happy Mother’s Day to all of Meril’s mothers on staff who worked so hard to give us and others another memorable dining experience, thank you!

    We had a great Mother’s Day lunch. The food was really good. The best entree item was the soft shell crab. It was the biggest soft shell crab that any of us had ever eaten. It was cooked perfectly and it had an amazing stuffing. The beet salad and crispy Cobb salad were also delicious. We also loved the pineapple upside down corn bread and deviled eggs as our appetizers. The service was good and we were seated quickly for our reservation. The only complaint would be the noise level. It is very noisy and difficult to have a conversation that all at table could hear. Overall we loved the food and will visit again.

    Special lunch for 2. We had a delicious meal with a GREAT waiter. They made us feel special on this anniversary occasion. Had a muffuletta flatbread and roasted beet & arugula salad. Both were delicious. Also had the pineapple upside down cornbread and wife had frozen pink quack daiquiri that wife said was spectacular. We enjoyed the experience and highly recommend.

    The most casual of Emeril's places, it is the noisiest. Good food, get a table near the kitchen - the flow and professionalism are fun to watch. Try one of his other locations if you prefer a less casual crowd and not so much chatter. But, if crowd and casual is your vibe, you will love it.

    We had a reservation and we’re told to go away in the bar. Then, when we were finally seated after our reservation time, we placed our order immediately and waited another hour before even the bread we ordered came. The service was horrible and the food was mediocre.

    They were kind enough to seat us early, but the first 3 things I ordered they were out of, which I did not find out until the waitress returned 5 minutes later (3 times) to say sorry we have run out of that. Whether the food was good is sort of irrelevant when I got my 4th choice.

    we had 730 reservation and seated right away. initially we were in main back room but it was so noisy there we moved to min thoroughfare area which was better. appetizers weee good and order was taken but an hour later still had no food. waiter never came over but said he told the manager after we asked a second time. the manager finally came and said it will be out.. our order got covered up.. i told her i had a 6am flight and it was already 9pm. we got our food a few minutes later which was delicious.. they came with the check after, never offering dessert and coffee.. bizarre. no apologies by anyone. won’t be back.

    We sat outside and at first it was fine but when it got dark there were termites flying everywhere and we couldn’t finish our food! We had to get the check and leave. The restaurant had plenty of tables in the bar that they could have sat us so we could finish our food but they said that area wasn’t open! We had already ordered and just wanted to finish our food without being attacked by bugs. We love merils but this was our worst experience there. Dine INSIDE if you plan to go there.     The food and service here exceeded my expectations. We had a large group and the drinks were great. The bar had an indigo French 75 that was delicious. The vegetables were all super good, plus don't skip the barbecued shrimp or the cornbread. We were there during JazzFest, so it was packed and super noisy. I think the acoustics make it tough to hear, but the space is very hip and open.

    Jazzfest celebration with special friends and family Service was excellent. Alan was a great waiter and very helpful and knowledgeable about the menu We did a lot of sharing Korean chicken drumsticks are fantastic as were the Korean short ribs . Half chicken in the salsa verde was tender and succulent. Beet , goat cheeses salad got good reviews. We were not enthused with the lamb ragout ,as it was just OKAY Wine selection and pricing was very good Highly recommend Meril Good and ambiance is great

    We've been here serveral time, was always good in the past. Unfortunately waiting 25+ minutes for an adult beverage and subpar food made this trip memorable, for all the wrong reasons. The constant celebrations with cotton candy reminded us of a trip to Applebees back in the day. The lack of bartenders at this location, on a friday night of jazzfest is as concerning and attitude of the server who was offended when we pointed out the speed of service. Sorry, but if you cant get me a drink within the standard waiting time, perhaps I might order more rounds. Reservations were for 2 at 7:15 pm, we had to cut it short to make a concert that started at 9 This was once a great spot, hope they get their stuff toghether.
