Nothing compares to the original Megan's in Fulham! Food was borderline disgusting, service mediocre at best and long waiting time for food

Following our excitement to get a Megan's in the neighbourhood, we came here for brunch on a Sunday. The restaurant has more of a café feel to it rather than the more dining-focused spaces available in the Fulham outlet. The styling and decor was pleasant, however we found the way the tables were laid out fairly tight with waiters and passerbys constantly bumping into our chairs. The layout could have been better thought through in general. The food however was very good, although the waiters made a small mistake on the drinks order which they courteously corrected. The biggest disappointment of our visit here was the service; it was brash and impersonal, and given that the bar area is very central to the restaurant room, one could hear the waiters arguing and dropping crockery regularly. We love the Fulham Megan's, and this one has a lot to learn still. Perhaps one should give it the benefit of the doubt given it has just opened. We sure it will get the hang of it!

This was my third visit to Megan's and I'm still a fan. The grilled options--meat and fish--are definitely the stars of the meal. The bavette steak is always cooked to perfection and very reasonably priced. The chicken is tender and paired with the sauces, very tasty. The side dishes are decent accompaniments to the mains, but not anything special. The chocolate dessert with salted caramel ice cream was delicious. In fact, we ordered two it was so good! The servers were absolutely lovely and very patient with the children which was much appreciated. They did seem to be stretched pretty thin, so service was a little slow at points. If you're not in a hurry, though, this should not be a problem. Overall, a great dining experience and I will be returning in February to take advantage of their voucher for 50% off the evening grill menu!

I'm a big fan of Megan's in Chelsea, so as my friends live in St. Johns Wood, we thought we would try this branch for dinner. To say it was a disappointment is an understatement. The service was absolutely dreadful, the food was not up to the standard you'd expect from Megan's, to be honest, the food was bad. We must have been waiting at least 20 minutes before we were even given a menu, and then when the menu's came the waitress walked off without asking if we wanted a drink. Nearly every order went wrong, we didn't get everything we'd requested for starters and things were missing with the mains, i.e. we ordered a burger with cheese and no sauce, it came with sauce and no cheese. We ordered the cheese and bacon burger, no bacon. When we finished our meal, we looked around for a member of staff and no one could be soon. We waited so long for the bill, we contemplated just getting up and walking out, as clearly no one could be bothered to serve us. Extremely disappointing, and we will not be going back. This really dampens the Megan's brand, and I suggest a senior manager monitors this service to try to get it back up to scratch. You have a lovely setting, and a good name, don't dampen it.

St Johns Wood has long been lacking decent restaurants. This was actually our second visit to Megans having previously visited for brunch. They do a mean brunch with lots of eggs, although I had avocado on Toast and an Avocado Smoothie from an extensive juice and smoothie list. This visit was in the evening and what a surprise. In the evening Megan's transforms into one of the most romantic restaurants in London, beautifully lit with lots of candles and fairy lights. I had the 6 hour braised lamb shank and my partner had the Kebab, which is a sort of posh Kofta kebab in a pan.....yummmm. Will be back!

The ambience is quite lovely especially if you find one of the back table but food isn't particularly outstanding or imaginative for brunch.

Came on a Friday evening with my family when there was live music on. We had the party menu whereby you have sharing platters on the table that everyone can pick at. Masses of delicious food, copious amounts of wine (Kung Fu Girl is outstanding) and Prosecco (which is their own brand!!!), beautiful live music & a gorgeous restaurant. Will definitely return & recommend.

Nice new addition to St Johns Wood. Really liked the dinner but it was a bit annoying that a side dish I had ordered didn't come with my main and I had to ask 3 times for it to arrive. When it finally did it was freezing cold. Other than that it was a nice atmosphere and decent prices.
