   Meeker's is just a great place. The service is great, food is good and can actually talk to your companions without having to shout. The TV's with sports are also big plus :). We often eat there when attending UCCC events and UNC. Do recommend Meeker's - you won't be disappointed.

   Nothing special about the menu per se but comfortable environment and welcoming staff , good service and good food.

   There were only 3 options for the entree. Waitress didn't know the selections for soup of the day. We finally ordered and they staff brought out our appetizer and all the food basically all at the same time. The waitress never came by our table to see how everything was until she dropped off our ticket. Beverages were completely empty before a manager finally asked if we needed refills? Probably wont revisit this restaurant. Prices were higher than expected and could get same quality meal at another restaurant at a lower price. They are not the top quality of dining that they are trying to portray.

   Our server was friendly, informative, and attentive. He is the only reason I am giving three stars. The pear salad was very good, and the bacon cheeseburger was fine. We had cocktails (margaritas/old fashioned) they were..fine. The wait was insane. There were six of us at the table and two people wanted 45 minutes..that’s right 45 minutes to get a glass of wine and whiskey straight! Their chicken friend steak and corn looked like something out of a frozen dinner. Two others ordered steak and they were cooked to order…the potatoes looked like something from a microwave. We will not be returning for a bit (we like to support local, but this was not a good experience). Again the staff were friendly and kind. But something went wrong in the kitchen/bar and timing.

   We showed up to our reservation and the restaurant was closed with zero explanation.

   Great ribs! Was walking distance to the event center. Parking was very accessible. The outdoor patio provided a quiet dining experience. Staff were all friendly and well informed

   Server said the kitchen lost our order was lost and had to return to get it again. I asked for my rueben to be extra toasted (I hate soggy bread) - it wasn't. The corned beef had a lot of fat I had to cut off. I left hungry. My husband got the chicken fried steak and liked it okay. The tortilla soup was really spicy. Server asked if I wanted my cocktail short or tall, I said tall - it came short. Will definitely look for another place to eat if we ever return for a show.

   We went to see a show at the Union. Our reservation was at 6 and we received our food at 715. They ran out of everything. No staff. This is convenient to the Union but I would pass this one by. This was 73 dollars to gulp this down 10 mins. We just made it to the show. Definitely not a recommendation.

   We had a disappointing early evening dining experience. Our 5:15 pm reservation began with our server telling us that three of the items on the menu were not available and there was no wine list. Service was slow but the food was pretty good. Then paying the bill was very slow. Sorry.
