   Awful service, I ordered the chicken burger which came out completely pink. When I sent it back, I heard the manager behind the counter moaning about how I am wasting food. Absolutely shocking restaurant, I will never return and will definitely not recommend it. 4 of us went for dinner, not one of us enjoyed our meal.

   Great atmosphere, enjoyed the rustic decor, absolutely beautiful food! The burger I had was the Truffle Shuffle which was juicy, succulent and bursting with flavour and my milkshake was lovely and thick. I had the chocolate & cherry milkishake (basically a Black Forest Gateau!) It was so lovely, however I would advise people that if you have any desire to get a desert towards the end but fancy a milkshake during your meal, do not get a large as they are very filling and it took my entire visit within the restaurant to drink it. The only thing I would ask the restaurant to modify is the sauce on their Truffle Fries... They are absolutely fantastic, probably some of the best fries I've ever had (because the sauce is so nice), but there just wans't enough sauce on them and a little too much coriander for my liking. Overall though, this place is in a great location (less than a minute from Tooting Bec tube station), nice atmosphere and simply awesome food cooked to perfection!

   Meat & Shake in Tooting has tasty, but quite expensive burgers. Service was very friendly.

   tasty food, a little pricey for what it is, you have to order sides as extras for your sandwhich, and they don't servce alcohol, which we didn't know before eating.

   Great service, great food however was a bit dissapointed to be told no wings and hot dogs were available due to shortage of stock. Milkshakes are one of the best milkshakes I have tasted!

   Another visit to Meat and Shake and the food was amazing yet again. I was very nervous at the beginning though, when we were told at least half of the menu was not available. But trying other options on the menu you quickly realise, yet again, that the quality of food and preparation are wonderful. Absolutely delicious and a meat lovers heaven! They were understaffed on this day but still as courteous as ever and I had booked about 2 hours before visiting so this was understandable.

   Service was excellent and food was outstanding. Certain bits of the menu are a little more expensive but the quality of meat and the overall standard of cooking makes it understandable.

   Despite my booking I received a call from the restaurant nearly 2 hours before my dinner time, informing me that they were overbooked. It was shocking for me that despite confirmation of online booking why and how they are declining me. It was a special occasion for me as it was my Sons's Birthday which was ruined by total mismanagement on part of administration.

    My partner and I enjoyed our meal at Meat and Shake although there were a few surprises along the way. 1) The restaurant doesn't serve alcohol so your drink options are limited to milkshakes or soda. 2) The restaurant also doesn't serve pork products so no bacon cheeseburgers here. 3) Several of the menu items aren't available at this location which caused a bit of confusion for us when ordering. However, the milkshakes are tasty and the owner/manager was extremely friendly and helpful. The restaurant is pretty small so definitely recommend booking as several groups were turned away while we ate. We both had burgers and while they weren't the best we've ever had, they were decent and good value, as were the chicken wings. However, the "stinky fries" were a complete disappointment and I would advise avoiding them. Finally, the staff seemed a little overwhelmed so it was a bit difficult to get their attention although their upbeat attitude made up for this.
