They are now closed.
The place was empty. The bar tender was very nice,, but he was the only one working. Many TVs... a good place to watch sports... Irish nachos were ok.
We were there during Expo West 2018 because it was the only place we could get reservations. I realized why once we got there. The server was nice and sweet. But the place is loud, dingy, and stinky—just like a college frat. The food was terrible too. Will never go back.
I don't normally leave bad reviews, having been in the restaurant business most of my life, I understand that a restaurant can have a bad night. That said, not sure why any one would want to dine here. When you first walk in you are hit with an overwhelming aroma of urinal. That pretty much turned off or party of 6, but we waited and got seated. After waiting close to 30 minutes without being acknowledged by a single server we got up and left.
Besides the smell, the menu is very unimaginative without a single gluten free item available. When we arrived, all of us were starving, but after the smell and the wait we had all lost out appetites.
Not recommended for a large group of people wanting to have dinner.
Made a rsvp a week advance and when my party and I got there. They did not have my rsvp that I did on open table. I even created 2 rsvp for 730pm and 10pm and they were unaware of my rsvps. My party was not happy and I was not as well. Not a good way to spend my birthday
Food was tasteless. Our waitress was wonderful but they were understaffed. The food was on par with a cafeteria.
It was ok. Nothing special. We came from out of town, the food was ok, the AMF was ok, service was 'meh'.
This place is totally mismanaged. We went there for dinner before a concert at the House of Blues. I called three times ahead of time and only got voicemail - and the voicemail had no business greeting, but just an "out of the box" computerized voice that repeated the phone number. It wasn't clear the place was even still open - and nobody ever called back. We went anyhow, and when we got there the only one working was 1 person behind the bar...nobody to seat or serve us. When we finally did get seated, it took 10 minutes to see a server and then 20 minutes to get drinks served. The food was passable - but nothing more. They delivered the wrong burger, then just offered the proper add ons to be delivered to the table on the side. After being served our food we had to ask for utensils and napkins, and then they only brought napkins. We later had to get up and go find our server to ask for our check so we could make the concert. I had to apologize to my friends for picking this place and the lame experience.
Restaurant did not have a lot of items that were on menu... drink(alcohol) and food wise. The Appetizers were salty and the food was dry. The food quality was not there. Servers were nice but we had to ask for refills when no one else was there and they assigned 3 waitresses to us so there was no reason why we should have not received better service.
It was the worst experience I've had at a restaurant in a while. Beer was served warm, food was burnt, service was beyond slow. We were LITERALLY the only people in the whole place and we had to walk up to the bar to get a refill on a soda. It was just awful. The only good thing was they gave us 10% off because one of the meals was completely screwed up. For 4 dinners, 4 drinks it was $121.00 with 10% off... so not even close to worth it.
Don't waste your time and money!
Didn't hold the reservation. But comped us the cover, so that was good. Place was packed for the fight. Standing room only so it took a while to get drinks. Drinks were ok but would have preferred chilled mugs if possible.
Bar didnt have our reservation despite the open table confirmation email. Restaurant was over 80 degrees inside. Booth was dirty. Waitress took over 15 minutes to ask us for drinks. At the same time, wait staff was chatting by the entrance. Fishbowl drink was tasty but had little to no alcohol. Two of us shared one and were barely buzzed. Irish nachos were really good with a generous portion size. The poor service however and unbearable heat forced us to leave early.
There was only one staff member that helped take our order and a man walked into the woman's restroom when my mother-in-law was inside
Warm beer, gummy fish, and crappy service...not worth it!!!!
I would not eat here again. Our waiter did not know what soda the restaurant offered. The burgers we ordered were burnt on the outside and nearly raw on the inside. The bun was dry. The noise level was extreme.
Service was slooooooow. Food took forever. Food was pretty tasty.
The restaurant's temperature was warm. They should have had the A/C. The beer wasn't that cold. The mac & cheese lacked flavor. Needed salt. The wait staff was good.
Food took FOREVER, then it came out wrong. Waiter was nonexistent through the whole ordeal. Had to hunt him down just to get our drinks refilled. That's a bad scenario at a BAR, where drinks are where you make your $$.
They couldn't have cared less--server was too busy to give us the attention we deserved! No gas on heaters, so we ultimately had to find someone, anyone--hello--to take us all inside. I hate when other tables nearby get their food first, different server! And NO hot water or tea! So no gas i heaters to keep us warm & no hot tea! Yikes! We started out on patio before it turned cool. Food was ok--our group of 6 ordered chicken burger, hickory burger, 2 veggie burgers and fish and chips. Food not as hot as we would have like. Would never recommemd this restaurant to anyone. We should have been comped something--but that would mean they cared...
Food was simi cold. Took awhile to get my drink. Several time the servers kept bringing us the wrong food.
Very disappointed in the food. We had the chicken & dumplings (only three small pieces of chicken) and the corn beef sandwich (not much meat and the french fries were not cooked all the way). Was expecting good Irish food. We will not go back.
Disturbing experience with my credit card being stolen. After the bill was delivered I put my credit card into the folder and it was whisked away by someone who we believed was staff and a few minutes later our waiter delivered a second identical bill. When I told the waiter I already gave him my credit card he said no and fhat he didn't have it.
After discussions with management, the card was never found and little sympathy was shown. Watch your card at this restaurant!
Waited over an hour to be waited on
another hour for food to arrive
Drinks were horrific
This restaurant doesn't even open until 4pm. Why are they taking reservations for lunchtime. Being from out of town, we showed up to locked doors.
We got there and the DJ was running a trivia with the sound sooo loud that you could hear the waitress or each other. We ended up leaving. The place also looked very tired and run down.
Good beer selection. Excellent appetizers.
Worst dining experience ever! We all arrived and ordered. One of the beer (Guinness) was really watered down. Our food came out 2-3 people at a time... some of our guests waited over 45 mins after the first few people were served... the most frustrating part was tables around us that arrived after us received food before many of our guests... and it was the same thing we ordered. We asked for salt, ketchup and other basic condiments several times before getting them... we never got the salt we asked for.
The server did give some compensation to some of our guests but what was supposed to be a fun team dinner/drinks turned out to be a huge frustration and disappointment.
It's a nice place for a group of friends to grab a drink and catch up. Food was pretty good, drinks were even better.
We planned to go to McFadden's tonight after a conference. When we checked online, all indications were that the restaurant was serving dinner, Happy Hour was happening, and we could come watch the game. In fact, dinner was not being offered, only the bar, and there were no employees in sight to even talk to, though the restaurant was clearly open, as there were other people present. It would have been nice for the sign on the bar to be on their website when we checked it six hours earlier.
Food was delicious, but way over priced for the portion size received, the beer selection was lacking for a saloon, and the service was also lacking, it took forever to get our food, even though the place was empty there was 8 people in the entire restaurant and that included the 6 in my party, and it still seem to take forever to get wings, pizzas, and irish Nachos, what should have easily been an hour dinner end up being 2.5 hrs most of which was waiting for our food. Great place to try at least once, but will probably never go back or recommend it to anybody
