I've been wanting to eat here for a while, I was underwhelmed. It wasn't horrible, just "mehhh." I doubt I'd make another trip here. 😕
Food was good, our dishes and glasses were dirty. They quickly handled it and moved us too a better spot. Best Paloma ever here.
Service and food was great! What made it better was our server, who I unfortunately forgot his name but he was the server with the awesome Nightmare Before Christmas tattoos.
He recommended the shrimp kisses as an appetizer, which was soo good! He checked up on us every few minutes and had the greatest upbeat attitude. My partner and I were really happy with the service and the food was delicious (filet mignon/lobster tails and stuffed salmon). Although we are tourists who live 8 hours from Anaheim, we will definitely visit when we come back to visit again.
Hostess was short and curt, not very welcoming
Reservation for 7pm sat finally at 7:22 after having to go back up and say something, and then was told they were running behind. No offer of a glass of wine or anything.
Server never took extra settings from table of 4 (we were 2) from table
We shared salad and server did not bring plates, we used our bread plates.
Opentable was great as I was able to reserve a table which cut the waiting time. However, once we got seated it took 10mins to get service. Then the server never came back with our drinks. Not even water was brought to our table until my husband made a complaint which by then was 20 mins into our dining time. GM try to accommodate our stay but we were so turned off we left. For a nice restaurant you expect better service but this was not the case! Never again would I go there.
If I make a reservation at the specific time. I am expect to be seated at the scheduled time I arrive 10 minutes before and I was seated after one hour prior my reservation And the dinner was very important for my wife we were celebrating our anniversary. ? No welcome no nothing . At that moment I knew There would be a little delay for my other plans. I had to cancel one business meeting,
we were so hungry we just let it go we just enjoy our dinner. The server he came through,..
We dine six days week I actually haven’t had this experience of reservation. I was not planned to review. Have a nice day.
We had 8:15 reservations, when we got there at 8:10, very nice host told us , 20-30 minute wait. I’d probably never go back accept, the host, older gentleman in a suit was very accommodating and professional. He deserves a huge thank you. I understand that it was Valentine’s Day, but that’s I made reservations. Waiter was really good but the service was below average. By the time we got our food, mine was Luke warm and hers was perfect. Other than that the Host got us a great table and he is the only reason I’d even think about returning.
The restaurant appeared to overbook their reservations or were short staffed on Valentine’s Day. We had an 8:15 reservation and ended up being seated at 9:10. The manager claimed it was because people who were already seated weren’t leaving, which I can somewhat understand, but when we were finally seated we saw a bunch of 2 person tables not being utilized. The manager was also blatantly lying to people about how long they would need to wait, telling them it would be a 25 minute wait when we had already been waiting for almost an hour. After we were finally seated the meal went well. The wait staff seemed rushed but were trying their best, and our steaks were delicious. The blatant lying about wait times and that customers “weren’t leaving” was my only major problem with our experience.
We have reservations at 8pm and didn’t get seated until 8:50. It took 20 minutes for a waiter to come to our table. It took another 20 minutes for our beer to come. From the time we ordered it took 45 minutes to get our food
Reservations backed up, not responsive to customers with reservations and didn’t seem concerned. Table service good after seated. Watched bus/wait staff staff drip oysters water all over Rug.
Everything was nice, but I had a reservation at 8pm and didnt get seated til 850pm. People need to be considerate, finishing eating get up people are waiting...
Valentines and a birthday
Disappointed- Arrived shortly after 7:45 due to traffic into parking structure (valet line was coned off). I was told there will be 15 to 20 minute wait and that they will call us.
Went to the bar and the bartender helped another patron who stepped in from of me, also, waiting to be seated. He did not get to me til 25 minutes after that guy to take my order.
Finally got seated after 9:00 pm. Did not rec. call even though was told I was called.
Food was OK but service was slow and NO bread while we waited for the soup/salad.
I understand it was Valentines Day however making a reservation two weeks in advance for 6:45 and arriving at 6:40 to find out we still had to wait at least 30 minutes was a big disappointment. ...Quite embarrassing when you try to plan a very special date. Not impressed McCormick & Schmick’s. Not your first Valentines Day.
Our waiter John Llamas is the best. So attentive.
Good food, decent price
Took my wife out for Valentines dinner.
The food was well prepared and presented nicely. The portions were appropriate and the service was very good. It was our first time there, and we would definitely go back again. I would highly recommend making a reservation for a special event or holiday.
Awesome dinner on Valentines night. Would recommend this place all day long.
Service was super slow. We had 4pm reservations thinking we would beat the Vday rush. Still took over 2 1/2 hours. Nobody there at 4pm and drinks took 15 minutes stating bar was backed up? From who? Everything was slow and waitress was not around to track down for more drinks or status on our food.
We arrive and the table is dirty food scraps on several of the silverware and plates. We tell the manager he is what do you want to do? Pressed for time we said move to another table. He tells the guy to polish the table with a single rag we said no. They start resetting the table and there are crumbs ...filthy. We left. Unsanitary. Hoping it is confined to this location.
Great server! Very friendly and professional.
Very noisy inside, at times hard to carry on a conversation.
Food was good and prepared as ordered.
Nice wine selection.
Silverware was NOT clean even thro it had a clean napkin around each setting. Had to get three new settings of silverware. Not acceptable for this restaurant.
We had tickets for the hockey game, which was to begin in about 90 minutes from the time we were seated. Our waiter, Chris, was very accommodating and made certain we got our food in plenty of time so as not to miss the start of the game
The food was outstanding. We will definitely go back again
Unbelievably noisy. While waiting for our table at the bar, it took us more than 10 min to even order a drink as all 5 bartenders tried hard to avoid any eye contact.
Seating was super cramped, servers always pushed against seat back when squeezing by
We enjoy dinner atMcCormick and usually try to celebrate all special holidays there.
Beautiful, classy restaurant with an amazing menu.
Had reservations yet waited 49 mins to get seated.
Food and service were very good, the only issue was a wait of about 20 minutes, even with reservation, but the restaurant was packed
Get the Jake's beaoulabaise. Boulibase. Beeyewlibase. Whatever. You don't have to spell it to order it. Just get it. You're gonna love it.
Nice restaurant and atmosphere. Plenty of room at our table for 8. The crab cake, lobster bisque, and bacon wrapped shrimp were excellent. King crab, salmon, rib eye steak, and scallops were great. My sis-in-law thought the risotto was a bit salty for her but my brother and I thought it was seasoned well but was a bit mushy. My husband had the swordfish and he thought it was a bit dry and was on the cold side, not hot at all. The chocolate box dessert was super decadent and the mousse inside was so creamy! I would return to explore other menu items.
Nice staff and good value
Very enjoyable dining experience. Food was very good (we're from south Louisiana, so we know food.) Waitstaff were very courteous and professional. Restaurant was very clean, and decor very pleasing. Would highly recommend this restaurant.
Ambiance and service was great, but the food is so bad. It's almost amazing. CA Fish Grill can cook up much better dishes for 1/3 of the price.
Please get a new chef or a better menu since the location and ambiance is amazing.
Nice ambience and easy to eat with guests. We took clients out for dinner and I felt like everyone really enjoyed themselves. Lively enough to be fun but with a sound volume adequate for conversation. I would return and I would recommend
Food was about average for the price range. They sat us early. Service was excellent. Environment above average for the price.
Food was great. Service was good for it being busy for lunch. She did the best she could with the situation
Service was beyond slow... to the point that we didn’t even get some of the items ordered. We finally had to go to the hostess station to pay and get our rewards account linked.
Very good food, excellent service...
Excellent overall experience.
Accommodated a last minute reservation.
Food quality is excellent.
