Food is really good, but going for brunch kind of sucks in terms of service. I don’t believe its the waiters fault though. They have a skeleton crew that is stretched thin, and you order from an online menu like you’re picking it up but sitting in a restaurant (its like a fast casual place vs a restaurant which is odd). Its one thing to have the digital menu, but can’t ask questions and even questioned if our food order was put in because it took a while and had no interaction with a waiter. Odd. Again the food was very good, but wouldn’t go back cuz half of going to a restaurant is the experience.

MBP is new to the brunch game and it shows. They were missing basics like coffee, mimosas, and had very few (if any) vegetarian options. The cocktail I had was delicious, as were the homestyle potatoes and mac & cheese. The biscuits were lacking a bit of seasoning and my hash was mostly potatoes with few veggies. The entire ordering experience happene via Toast Tab app, so where a server might prompt a second round of drinks it didnt cross our minds. They'll get there, I'm sure, but give it a bit.

This is such a fun spot! I’ve been here twice now and I love how it’s currently flying under the radar for brunch. The food is excellent and the manager is fantastic. Highly recommend for summer brunching.

We celebrated Mother's Day dinner with MBP. I was a little concerned about previous reviews and service, but turns out unnecessarily so. MBP over-delivered compared to my expectations. The service was good -- great when you consider most of the staff had been working since 9 AM since it was mothers day. The ambience and music was excellent. Not sure how to describe the music except as a perfect complement to the name MBP. The music good (I had to Shazam a few) and not too loud so as to make conversation difficult. The wine list was great and cocktails were very well done. Their NA cocktail selection was impressive and long. The highlight of the night was the food. I ordered the salmon which was good but needed more flavor; however the polenta with it was out of the world. The standout was the shrimp and grits which my wife ordered. I make a mean ship and grits so I dismissed the entrée since I'm normally disappointed. The MBP version was so much flavor and so unique, possibly the best I've ever had.

Mother’s Day Brunch was exceptional. The food and service were on par. We enjoyed the delicious artichoke dip with charred bread to start. It was excellent. My beautiful lady enjoyed the Crab Florentine Eggs Benedict. She was very pleased. I had the pecan pancakes. Delicious. The music the vibe was just exceptional. Please take the time to support this locally owned restaurant. It’s such a great spot!

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Five Pointe. The menu is small (huge plus for someone who gets decision paralysis), and everything on it is so tasty! Definitely recommend the shrimp and grits and their spinach artichoke dip. The cocktails are fun and varied and they have a great wine list. Everyone who works there that I’ve interacted with are fantastic.

This was our second time to eat at MBP. Our experience was as good as the first time. The food is excellent. The staff is wonderful. I highly recommend you try this restaurant.

I was grateful to the lovely hostess this Friday April 29th. I notified her that I had a surprise plus one and she accommodated my request easily. Morgan, our server, was and is sweet constantly checking in to ensure we were fine, water wasn't low and brought extra bread for that yummy spinach artichoke dip! Highly recommend the Love Train if you enjoy tequila and mezcal.

Date night while away. The food was okay, but the drinks were amazing! We loved the mocktail menu as well. The atmosphere was lovely and the service was great. That apple pie with the ice cream on top was heavenly!

We were served by Uncle Jake and Baby Jake and their service was impeccable. Having a DJ definitely adds a nice touch to the cool ambiance, and the music wasn’t loud at all I was still able to hear my husband from across the table. The food was amazing, everything was well cooked and so flavorful. We will definitely come back again.

We had a great time out on the patio and had a heater to keep us warm. My husband and I both had the Jambalaya for the first time. OMG delicious! Also had truffle fries and then a mocha truffle and an espresso martini for dessert. Drinks great love the Up in Smoke and the Ricky RoRo. DJ was great and I was definitely doing some chair dancing.

Fantastic food and drinks! Loved our server/host Vivic. Noise level was really loud but other guests were having a great time connecting and we were right up front in the window. Loved the music/DJ. Recommending to anyone who asks.

We went to MBP for Restaurant Week. We were seated for 20 minutes before the bartender asked if we had been waited on. He comped our drinks and took our food order. The food was very good although not as spicy as expected for Cajun food. The restaurant was also cold so I had to wear my coat the whole time we were there. Overall, the food was good and there are other interesting items on the full menu to warrant a return visit.

I was disappointed in the fact that we booked this as a bunch spot and when we got there there was not even a brunch menu at all. We had been there for dinner and LOVED it. The chef did make an omelette for my niece that was not on the menu, which was very nice but because it was advertised as a bunch option on open table, I was definitely expecting something else. Also the bar tender hadn't showed up yet so we couldn't even order a drink.
