Delicious food in a graciously improvised outdoor setting. Terrific addition to a neighborhood that needs more options like Mazal!
Incredible food and warm atmosphere, amazing wine selection. Come see for yourself!
I wish there were some more hot dishes, and that the carrots came hot, but that pita is unlike anything I’ve had. And the dips are great. The tahini cake is like a pound cake and must be tried. The cauliflower is great. The veggie ricotta flatbread lacked flavor next to everything else, but if you drizzle some of the spicy tahini on it you can satisfactorily salvage it. I wish it had come with some bolder and punchier flavors on that flatbread though. Big orange wine selection.
The food was delicious! The environment was amazing and the staff and owner were the nicest people!! I'm so happy I found this place! I highly recommend them!
Easily my favorite restaurant in LA now. They are bringing fresh ideas and fresh ingredients to classics and introducing some new-wave takes as well. Excited to hit this during the spring and summertime!
Delicious food, great wine variety. The staff was friendly and efficient. Definitely going back to try more of the menu. Welcome to the neighborhood!
Always amazing food and wine and a great time! Will definitely come back!
Great Food! Great ambiance! Friendly staff! A foreign oasis in the midst of LA
We loved the ambiance. Very authentic, chic, and beautiful. We ordered a flatbread, the hummus, the carrots, the cauliflower, and the bourekas. I can’t say a bad word about any of it! It’s actually quite the opposite - we loved everything. My husband always wants to try new places every time we go out to eat and after eating here he said, “Good job, babe, you found a place I want to eat again and again.” We were planning our next trip before we even finished our food. Thank you!
Fantastic experience! Lovely people and service!
Everything was amazing from the food to the wine to the service to the ambience! I highly recommend it and will definitely go again and again!
Amazing food and outdoor dining experience. Was seated by the owner who gave us a great intro to the restaurant. The staff was very knowledgeable about the wine and food on the menu. Full organic wine list and vegetarian menu. Loved everything we ordered! Favorites were the borekas and potato with hummus.
Every dish that we have ordered, which is almost all of them has been phenomenal. Awesome wine list with lots of fun and funky options. You must get the hummus and the bagel and don’t skip on desert. Excellent service, Tal and his staff are great.
Great restaurant owned by a family. Food is exceptional!! We had such an amazing experience over there, felt very welcomed and well taken care of. Definitely will be coming back
Great restaurant. Our first time having Israeli and we loved all of our dishes! We had carrots dish, cauliflower dish, hummus, tahini and feta/potato bouerkas. Would highly recommend. Great service
Mazal was just what I was looking for as my first dine out experience with the re-opening. The welcoming and creative ambiance paired with the staff’s hospitality made me feel at home. Service was attentive and the food was spot on 👌🏼 from dips to salads to mains (oh and don’t forget to pair it with a bottle of wine).
Would 10/10 recommend and am looking forward to coming back soon!
A friend recommended that we try this place because it is food that we don't typically eat in the South Bay and we were very impressed. The ambiance is fairly quiet but we were lucky to have our table decently close to some others so we could interact with some other people. The service is spectacular only to be outdone by the food. The food is spot on. The best bread I have ever had in my entire life and the mozarella flatbread is an absolute must. We got what seemed like half the menu and it was very affordable. I highly recommend this place.
New amazing restaurant in LA. The food is outstanding and the staff is friendly and extremely knowledgeable. Can’t wait to go back!
Went to dinner at Mazal on a Wednesday night as me and my sister were both home in LA for Thanksgiving. We had the Babaganoush, Hummus, Pita Bread, Ricotta Flatbread and the Vegan Chocolate Date Cake for dessert.
Everything was delicious, came out quickly and was brought to the table with friendly service.
I lived in Israel for a year and always crave authentic Israeli food here in the US. Mazal reminded me of meals I'd always eat during my time in Israel and to top it all off they even had Gold Star beer on the menu.
Definitely will be coming back!
Pair amazing dishes like bourekas, mozzarella flatbread and roasted cauliflower, to name a few, with great service and a super chill vibe for a great dinning experience that you won't soon forget. Simply put Mazal is delicious!
Very friendly staff and excellent food! We loved everything we ordered (which was a lot)!
Great food and beer/wine selection!
I truly enjoyed my Mazal experience. Everything was extremely fresh and well done. As an Israeli I’m particularly finicky about Bourekas and I thought they nailed the puff pastry as well as all the individual plates. Service was lovely, they made their outdoor seating very charming and peaceful considering that’s it’s in the more industrial part of lincoln heights. It’s truly a treat to step into the back area and feel covid safe and comfortable!
Deserts are also very tasty. The whole menu is absolutely yummy. The morrocan spiced carrots, the flufffy pita, the flatbreads-all delicious! Overall I think Mazal is a wonderful addition to the burgeoning Israeli food scene in LA. If I had to make just one, tiny suggestion it would be to add a little bit more tahini to their hummus mixture, (but everyone from Israel has their own specific take on what makes the best hummus). Definitely going back for more!!
Amazing food and service! Really great ambiance. Went with a few other friends, and we all loved the food. Highly recommend!
Had the best time at Mazal! Everything from the food, the drinks, the ambience was all amazing! Recommend the hummus, borekas, and mozzarella flatbread. They have a huge natural wine and beer list thats so amazing! Service was so great and I cannot wait to go back!
Great food , amazing service, beautiful ambiance. Strongly recommend.
The ambience is incredible--felt like we were dining in our own little oasis--and the food is to die for! It's a family-owned business, and you can tell they've invested a lot of love and care into every detail of this place. Highly recommend!
