Not exactly authentic, but the flavors are there. I've never had anything here that I didn't like. The seafood tostones are the best.

Excellent as always. Trinity and his staff make every dining experience there like it’s their opening night. And they want to do their best to impress. They succeed every time. Unbelievable flavors. Excellent drinks and waitstaff is superb.

Mayas is a neighborhood gem! We go at least once every time we are in town. The tuna tartare is simply amazing! I have never been disappointed here.

Absolutely wonderful. Great service and atmosphere with extra sidewalk seating on Magazine. Best Mojito I have had in a long time. Got the Mango Avocado Stack to go. This is the best dish and only thing I ever order so I can't speak to the rest of the menu! I can hardly wait to go back.

Have seen Mayas a million times when dining at another neighborhood and always wanted try it but never did, till the other night. We were looking for something different, flavorful and unique food and we tried Mayas. We were seated at a comfortable booth, had a superb waitress and we all ordered diffferent items. Each item we ordered was uniquely and beautifully presented and each dish ordered was better than the next. The Tuna Tartare was spicy, tangy and so flavorful, the stacked shrimp, crab dish was mild, lightly sweet and also delicious and my husband had a tamale and the skirt steak dish and he loved them both. We also started with the guacamole with sundried tomatoes which was so good it literally vanished from the table in minutes. Would highly recommend this restaurant!

I can't believe how delicious everything was. We had the trio empanadas, crab and shrimp ceviche, and paella. There was so much food and the two of us couldn't have been more happy about leftover paella. This gem was a great place to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary.

I have LOVED every visit to Maya's and have recommended it to everyone, who agree it is WONDERFUL!! Sadly, we did not keep our reservation 2 weeks ago because, after getting usual confirmation from Open Table, I left 6 unreturned VM's with Maya's because I wanted to up my reservation to two more people. I was afraid to ask my out of town visitors to drive down there and park, only to find Maya's closed. When I tried through Open Table to cancel my reservation, I could not. It stated it was not taking reservations at this time. I couldn't even get in to adjust the number. I was so frustrated.

So, I have NO IDEA if my favorite restaurant is closed for business, taking a vacation (which if it is should not have accepted my reservation and confirmed it). NO notice either through Face Book. This has happened to us before...we've shown up there and there is a sign on the door stating vacation time. If so, put that on the very nice voice message or Face Book. No problem. AND...there should be some way for Open Table to commuicate with the consumer what the status of the restaurant is. I even called two businesses across the street to see if they knew anything and they did not.
PLEASE MAYAS FIND A WAY TO LET ME KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON. Thanks!

Called Uber which transported our party to a dark, no lights, closed restaurant. We double checked the address confirming we were at the right location, “CLOSED!”
Our reservations were made & confirmed on OpenTable.
While in front of a dark closed restaurant my phone pings with a reservation update reminder. We were all flabbergasted 😯
On my Uber account it shows our arrival fee and we uploaded another destination from this ghost restaurant to “Dat Dog” which we all enjoyed!!
This was a major disappointment on your site users and needs to be rectified.

I have eaten at Maya's in the past and the food and service are perfectly wonderful. I cannot give a good review this time however because they weren't open, even though I had reservations. I originally called Maya's to set a reservation for my friends who were coming to New Orleans for the weekend. Their answering machine picked up and said to go to their website to book reservations. So, I did just that and made our reservation through Open Table, and received a confirmation email from Open Table. I arrived at Maya's right on time...only to find that it was closed. Not closed permanently, but doors locked and lights out. No sign explaining why they were closed or anything. I had to think quick and reroute my friends to another nearby restaurant where we had to wait for a table for nearly half an hour. Before I left the sidewalk in front of Maya's, two more people walked up and were just as flummoxed as I was. They had done the same exact thing.

This place was close! I don’t know why it’s in open table, made me waste my time going to this place.
