Food was delicious and the place was very nice
I enjoyed the food . The service was ok , but there is definitely room for improvement. I notice other tables were given dinner rolls/bread and we were not. Also when the lady called to confirm my reservations she advised me of a upscale dress code however when I arrived there were guest dinning in Sneakers and Jeans . So I’m a bit confused on that . OverAll Ok experience.
The food was great . It was not for a nice date night. The noise was a bit much . It is not nice and tomantic.
Wonderful experience. A little pricey but if you are on a budget, this might not be your place. Steak was awesome. Live music was very good. Ask for a table near the waterfall. Simply beautiful.

Robert, our waiter, gave us excellent recommendations to add to our orders. Meticulous attention to detail without being intrusive to our experience. Food was on point and in addition to great taste, visually pleasing in presentation. Will be back soon!
Overall, the experience was fine. It wasn’t as crisp as the last meeting I hosted. The waitstaff was pleasant and the support staff did a fairly good job. Something was off Thursday night.
Unfortunately, they didn’t let my tea steep long enough and poured out mostly hot water and I let it go. The scallops were cooked well but had a lot of grit to them. The food was fine other than the lobster Mac and cheese. It just didn’t have enough cheese considering the cost of the dish. The steaks were cooked as requested. My lobster tails were a bit tougher than the last time. Was a bit disappointed but the flavor and seasoning was very good.
One thing I don’t like is the server having selected the tip amount for me and setting it at 20% when I’m handed the bill and payment terminal. I think it’s very off putting and highly presumptuous. I usually tip more but I was offended by the presumption so I left it at 20%.
Something was off that night with the staff. Not at all the service I’ve come to expect.
The service was great; the food came out hot and the price reflected the quality of the meal.

My 36th Birthday
Our first time dining with Mastros; ALL staff were wearing masks and proper COVID-19 precautions were followed flawlessly. Our server was friendly and attentive. The food was well worth the price, the servings were all shareable. Dress code was strictly enforced and parking is a little tricky- we recommend to valet, unless you're used to the area.
The establishment is beautiful! The ambiance is impeccable. The staff is very personable, professional and knowledgeable. They provided top tier service. The food and cocktails were amazing! However, they say that the dress code is strict but that didn’t show. There were diners seated with jeans, hoodies and other with very revealing wardrobe choices. Also, there was a table who were well intoxicated and becoming increasingly louder. Management was notified and they closed out their tab. That is all. It dampened the overall experience.
Amazing dining, wife was truly overjoyed. We went for our anniversary, and the experience, and customer service kept a smile on her face.

The greeters at the front desk could’ve given better customer service. They gave us an indefinite wait time. Then a couple walked in & asked if there was seating available, the greeter said yes & showed them an open table. We had to approach the greeters to get our seat & there was seating readily available. Besides that, our experience was great. The servers were great, the food was amazing.
Always a great time here. Service from top to bottom is amazing. The seafood tower paired with a filet is amazing!

I came here for my birthday and it was just so fantastic. Everything about the restaurant is extravagant and nice. My waiter was so attentive to my needs and I appreciated it so much. I also received a free dessert because it was my birthday. I am definitely going to return back.

We had a great dinner once again our favorite restaurant in Houston. The ambiance is excellent. The service is superb. The food and food options are great. The sommelier was extremely helpful in helping us select delicious bottle of wine.

Had steak temp issues. But they took care of the issue. Overall great.
Great location and nice ambience, although I wish we had known in advance to request a specific table next to the water feature and where we could see the live music performance. With wine and tip, we ended up spending $175/ person. You can easily spend more than that, but you could probably keep it to about $100/person without drinks.
I’ve visited this restaurant twice in Las Vegas. I heard it was now in Houston and was dying to go since I had an amazing experience before. I was wrong! I made reservation for dinner for a party of two. Upon arriving, it was crowded and people was waiting to be seated. I checked in with the hostess who never greeted me when I approached. A few minutes later I was told my table was ready. I literally took a step from the door and was told this was my table. The table was so close to the entrance that you could feel the cold air EVERY TIME the door opened! I shared how this would be a problem and my food would be cold not to mention I wouldn’t have a pleasant experience or feel comfortable if I’m cold while dining.
I requested a manager because I was told they had no where else for me to go. Long story short, the manager was not friendly, emphatic, or cared regarding my complaints. I feel the only reason I got a different table is because he just wanted me to shut up after I stated, I won’t be back. And I stand firm on that. I won’t be back. The customer service of the manager and our waiter was terrible. I highly suggest in the near future monthly trainings. The brussels sprouts was nearly burnt, corn and macaroni and cheese was not tasty. The food is average at best. The waiter never would come back to check on us and we literally had to flag him down. I’ve never had to do that before at any other fine ding that I frequently visit. I’ll stick to Steak48 from now on. They’re always consistent with excellent customer service and food!

I was a little concerned when we first got there. Very loud and crowded. We were seated at a table on the edge of the bar area and I told them I was not comfortable sitting there with people standing next to the table waiting for their tables. The manager accommodated us immediately and seated us in the back room. It was a nice table that allowed us to celebrate our son's birthday. The food and service were great! Their portions are very large so I would recommend splitting salads and entrees. The side dishes are also shareable. We had 5 people in our party and each of us had a serving out of each of our side dishes. The prices may seem high at first but for what you get, it is a good value. The timing of the dinner was really nice. We started with drinks and appetizers, then salads, entrees and dessert. When we left we realized we had been there 3 hours but it didn't feel like it. Nice relaxing dinner.
The one thing I would comment on is that they make a big deal about dress code. You don't need to worry about that. As we were leaving they were allowing anything and everything.
Absolutely outstanding as usual. From the service to the perfectly prepared food, Mastro’s is never disappointing.

love the relaxed feel of this place – like a comfortable dining room in a friends home. I definitely would return. We tried almost all of the appetizers and they were all amazing. Service was well-timed and friendly, wines were affordable.
