Mastro's Steakhouse - Beverly Hills
Book your next event with us
Love the Martinis and the ambience! My fav Martini is Tiki Tine!!! My favorite high end restaurant ;)
Great experience, delicious food.
I was sat in a tight corner next to a brick wall...Food was sub par and most had to be sent back. The service however was excellent!
La viande est fantastique
Food was good as usual but the lady we had serving us was really bad. She never checked on us. We saw her 3 times when she asked for drink order and when she took order and when she brought the check out. I ordered a butter cake to go and asked for it at the end of the night with the check, she brought it out before we even got our dessert we were having there. Another server had to come over and apologize for her and offer to put it in the refrigerator until we were ready to leave so the dessert wouldn’t melt. Would have been a good experience if not for the server.
I’ve been eating here for many years. The steaks are delicious! However, the oysters Rockefeller was very salty. They took it back and the manager came to our table to find out why. At least they seemed concerned. Everything else was wonderful as usual!
Goes there regularly.
This time had guests from out of state which wanted to eat a steak in LA
Best place I know is mastro’s in BH.
Made a reservation for 7 people and arrived on time.
The seating procedure was fast and we got a nice table but then the problems began.
We waited 15 minutes for our server to come and take drinks order (I had to call him to come over)
Ordered appetizers which arrived before our drinks showed up.
Had to ask for bread twice till we got it.
Then we ordered our steaks (6 bone in fillets based on my recommendation!!!)
Ordered few side orders to be served along the meat.
When the steaks were served we got only 5 and were told that the sixth one will arrive soon ( took 7 minutes which made us feel uncomfortable since it’s not polite to eat before everyone is served)
All side dishes arrived 5 minutes after the steaks were served.
I have been to mastro’s many many times and it is my favorite place for steaks in LA.
This time I was very disappointed spending $980.00 and getting very poor service!!!
I must mention this was the first and only time I was disappointed there.
Overall will keep on coming
The food was great our server Adam was 5 star stellar. Unfortunately there was a table next to us that was extremely loud and obnoxious. Management even came and told them to keep it down but it didn’t seem to help. It was so bad that we could not even have conversation with each other at our table.
With that said it was not a very enjoyable event.
The host should have never sat anyone next to them.
Great food. Good service. I’d go again.
Downstairs great. Upstairs loud
Amazing and delicious
our service had really great hospitality. he adviced very well, and had good knowledge on wines too. i brought my clients for dinner, and they are all satsified thanks to him.
For some reason me and all the other African-American patients were stuck in the back corner this evening other than that and long wait time for food the food was OK
Mastro’s is a great Steakhouse with incredible Seafood options in the heart of Beverly Hills, CA. The ambience is amazing and the entire staff provides great service throughout the night. Great dining spot!
Asked for my meat to be cooked medium. It was medium rare. They also spelled the birthday guest’s name wrong on the birthday dessert. Service was not great either. Not really attentive.
We used to live in Beverly Hills and dined at Mastro’s often. We moved out of state 6 years ago and decided to return to Mastro’s while visiting family. The pepper steak was unfortunately flavorless and not at all how we remembered it. The jalapeno tuna sashimi appetizer was cut so thinly that it was translucent, you’re hardly able to chew it. We did like the creamed spinach and onion soup. Overall, we would not return.
great just waiting about 30 minutes for check to come out
Outstanding meal. The steak was cooked and seasoned perfectly.
I wanted to rate 4.5 stars but thats not possible. The reason it was hard to rate 5 stars is because even with a reservation for a party of 2 we still had to wait atleast 45 mins to 1 hour before our table was ready. Because of this we ended up just finding space at the upstairs bar. By the time our table was ready we were already 2 rounds in and had received menu's from the great bartenders and had just ordered. The bartenders had to be the best ever like seriously they were like super bartenders because they managed to make drinks in a overly crowded setting in a timely fashion all while taking food orders and setting up napkins, silverware etc. For multiple guest.
The food was AMAZING, everything we ordered was delicious. My wife ordered a steak, i tryed a couple slices and it was hands down the best steak Ive ever had in life, by far. I wanted to try dessert soooooo bad but i had no more room in my stomach and we had leftovers to take home. Im not a huge fan of fine dining so I always try to find a reason as to why it wasn't worth it but besides the wait time everything about this place was flawless and was well worth the experience.
Chicken was dry, mac n cheese was not tasty at all and the being sat by the door was horrible my wife and I couldn’t really enjoy our selves
The last time we went to Mastro’s was years ago and it was a wonderful dining experience with fantastic food and service. We were surprised to see that they had doubled the number of tables in the room. It was so loud that my husband and I could barely hear each other speak.
We started with a bottle of champagne. But they brought the salad out before they brought the champagne. The whole dinner was rushed and scattered. The sommelier came and was very thoughtful with his service. However, the waitress came later and filled up everyone’s glasses as to rush us along. They mixed up our meals. Behind us there were two tables celebrating birthdays and I was surprised to see her light and drop both birthday desserts at one time. It was such a difference from our earlier experience.
If you are in a hurry, it’s probably a good stop in.
Not great for a leisurely dinner.
Great evening and Taylor was great service!!
We always choose Mastro’s for our special occasions, may it be our birthday celebration or Anniversary. My husband and spent our 27th year anniversary here at Mastro’s and the service was impeccable from Jason our server! Thank you again Mastro’s! See you in December for my Birthday!
Amazing food, music, service, and that butter cake was outrageous!
Great experience. Shrimp cocktail, bone in filet, lobster Mac and butter cake are a must. Live music, TV’s if you want to sit at the bar and watch sports. Super extensive wine list. Best steakhouse in Beverly Hills. Better than Cut, Spago, Palm.
Our experience at Mastro’s was good but could have been better. Service and food quality were excellent. We were disappointed in our table but didn’t want to ask to be moved a third time. Also, if a restaurant is going to post a dress code it should probably be enforced. Again, food and wait staff were excellent but some work needs to done on the overall experience.
It’s always a must for me to eat here when I’m in town
Just a little too loud
love this restaurant but be prepared for havoc on a saturday evening
After much research and great looking food pictures we were excited to try Mastro's in Beverly Hills. It was our anniversary as well. The restaurant was nice. Upon being seated, we thought the band(live band) playing was a little too loud for our taste. Usually at a restaurant of this caliber you would think the music would be more subtle and not playing the top 40 live as if it was a club type bar. The food, we ordered the 40 oz Wagyu Tomahawk medium and the mac and cheese. The steak came out medium rare and not medium. We asked them to cook it to medium. When the steak came back it didn't look much better at all. The mac and cheese was ok but the gorgonzola was a little too pungent in taste. The server, he never acknowledged our Anniversary until we asked for our check(he just put the dessert forks on our table), however the couple next to us who arrived after we did it was their anniversary as well. And he happily said happy anniversary to them. Overall, it was not a good experience for us for visiting LA and it being our anniversary. Definitely disappointed.
As always, great service and food.
Snooty doorman told my son he couldn’t come in due to his attire shorts/T-shirt (he’s in high school) I then called to cancel telling the hostess what the door man said and he wouldn’t let us in - she was appalled and scolded the doorman (who was maybe 26 or 27) and invited us in. We had a nice dinner but it was super crowded and cramped. We just couldn’t enjoy ourselves after that idiot doorman exchange I won’t ever go back to this location.
You can Never go Wrong with Mastro's. I didn't have to double check my instructions, they executed everything to the teeth. Thank you
It was my first time at Mastro’s. Everything was beautiful. The setting and the service was amazing
Mastro's is seriously the best that there is and they can do absolutely nothing to be better. You can be a super-wealthy frequent customer or have saved up a few bucks to treat yourself to a nice dinner on a special occasion - but every person at Mastro's will treat you like royalty from the moment you arrive regardless. Impeccable. I would return daily if it was feasible.
We eat at Mastro’s a few times a year. We have always had excellent food and service. This time the food was off. The wedge salad was not the same. The bacon they put on it was tough and did not taste very good. The shrimp cocktail we order every time was also not quite right, the shrimp had very little taste. One of our steaks was ordered medium but came out medium rare. One of the managers offered to take the steak back and cook it more but we said no. Who wants a recooked steak? Also the timing of the food was off. The salad was served and a few minutes later they brought out the appetizers. So we had salads and appetizers on the table. We asked our waiter to please hold off on bringing out the steaks. We didn’t want them coming out and getting cold while we finished our other food. The servers were all nice and attentive as usual. I took away a star in my review because of the timing of the food.
Celebrated a friend’s birthday and the food was spectacular. Service with Cindy was fantastic.
