Stopped by here because I needed to pick up something in Lawrence. Everything was fantastic. We were lucky enough to show up during happy hour and ordered several things off the menu. This place looks great and the service was ideal. I highly recommend.

Food tasted like it was cooked in yesterday’s seafood water. Everything was very fishy tasting not in a good way. Prices were reasonable. Loud bass music playing otherwise restaurant is nice. Service was slow but place was quite busy. Won’t go again personally.

Waiter could have been better. Took a long time to place our drink order then had to ask for water. Only checked on us twice! I’ve had better there. Disappointing .

You would be surprised that this place is in Lawrence, fish house on Mass street might sound funny but it's pretty terrific. Enjoy!

Sat in the lower level room and it was very noisy. Food was just ok. Not nearly as good as the 1st time we went.

The lobster rolls are too small for what one pays for it and my black cod was way too salty. The clam chowder and oysters were excellent as was the service. The atmosphere started out nice at the beginning, by the time we were midway through the entrée the noise level was way too loud. We decided to forgo dessert and find it at a quieter place.

Delicious meal. Everything was perfect. Only negative is it's a very small, packed space. I was seated at a table in the walkway so a lot of traffic. Would still go back but recommend requesting a different seat. Especially since we had reservations and they had other tables open. The aisle seats were only two tops. Food and wine were delicious!

My son ordered the Paella and the risotto was crispy- not from roasted pine nuts or a nutty add in but straight up scraped the bottom off pan that risotto had been sitting assumably all day. To the chef: risotto is supposed to be creamy, silky creamy not fried rice crusted. Service was good.

Everything we've had at MSFH has been delicious and the service is always excellent. We recommend this restaurant to all of our friends visiting Lawrence, KS. Laura and her staff are the best.

I love this place! I am a native New Englander and lived in the west coast for years as well. The seafood here is as good as anything you’ll get near the coasts. Fantastic oysters from all the top producers on both sides of the country. The happy hour cannot be beat. Only issue was having to double check bill as some items were charged full price when they should have been happy hour pricing.

We sat outdoors on a night that became somewhat chilly--would've been nice to have a few heaters like 715 next door. All entrees were wonderful, desserts OK. The peach cobbler was undercooked but the tres leches was excellent

Food was mediocre for the price. Have ate here before several years ago and the food was outstanding so not sure whats happened. Another couple in our party ate here a few months ago and had the same experience.

Went here for first time on out anniversary. Enjoyed happy hour and dinner. Food and drinks reasonably priced. Tried raw oysters, steamed clams and fish and chips. All were delicious. Will definitely be back!

We had oysters to start. My wife had a seared scallop salad and I had a ribeye with chimichurri sauce. Everything was delicious! The ribeye was the best I’ve had in Lawrence.

We had Abby helping serve us this evening, an old friend from the service industry. She was wonderful and really helped my date and I enjoy a special anniversary dinner. All of the food was exceptional and the restaurant was relaxed, well-lit, and a pleasure to be a part of. We'll definitely return soon, and wanted to make sure Abby knew how much we appreciated her effort at making a memorable experience for us.
