Great choice for Father’s Day. Not crowded but food was great. Hidden in plain sight in Downtown Albuquerque.
Food was delish and served together. Mojitos were served in a short glass with browned mint for a fairly steep price.
Service was overall very good. Dined early so restaurant was not busy at all.
Great food and the staff was excellent. Would like to see a Charcuterie board and churros on the menu.
Amazing time tapas are large compared to other places. Mezzanine was my favorite
Love this place
Fantastic tapas! The service was impeccable & it was a lovely atmosphere
Took my family for an anniversary dinner, everything was delicious
Only complaint is that the fruity pebble dish is not up to par with anything else
Food was amazing! Service was superb! We never had an empty glass. This restaurant is perfect for a night out with friends.
Saturday is farm fresh night at MAS! Chef personally picks out the freshest ingredients from our local community and displays them magnificently with his brilliant creativity and passion for flavor…. The service is impeccable and they go out of their way to ensure you have the experience you deserve. MAS is hands down the best New Mexico has to offer in dining
We ate from the Tapas menu. Most dishes were spicy with peppers. The brussels sprouts were outstanding (and were not pepper-spiced). Service was attentive but not overbearing. Reasonably priced: $105 for two with wine and tip.
We had a delightful meal. We ordered four different tapas. They were all excellently prepared, presented, and delicious. The setting is very pleasant. The service was excellent.
The food was excellent, the staff accommodating and polite. Some loud cars cruising by we’re a bit much. I guess that’s a Sunday evening deal.
Still one of our favorite places for a relaxing meal.
Very disappointed, when Mark
Isn’t there, quality of food suffers immensely.
Over cooked and over fried
An memorable and magnificent dining experience! Chef Quiñones and his superb staff treated us like family. We recommend a "tasting menu" so that you can experience a variety of flavor profiles, textures and culinary techniques from the two-time Albuquerque Chef of the Year.
Enjoyed the tapas, the patio, the service. Very reasonable pricing for the quality. Will return to sample more tapas!
We had been here several years ago and had a poor experience, we were forgotten in a corner, but when we did get the food, most of it was very good so we wanted to give it another try. This time, the service was good and the food just ok. The tapas menu was nice, with a good variety, but plates were mostly large, so only one could fit on the table at a time and five selections was way too much food for us! Our dinner experience overall was very good, breakfast was another story.
We stayed at the Andaluz, so decided we'd have breakfast before we hit the road. I looked at their menu online and they had several nice options. However, when we arrived, possibly fit to COVID, the menu was very limited. We ordered a breakfast bowl that sounded very good, eggs over medium. Cooked whites, soft/runny yolks. When the dish arrived, the bowl was so hot from being in the oven too long that I actually burned my finger a good ten minutes after it was set down. As you can imagine, our eggs were extremely overdone. Yolks were so overcooked they were powdery with a greenish tint around the edges. We reluctantly asked for the order to be redone and got an eye roll from our server.
The kitchen, with their "Celebrity Chef" , fresh from being eliminated early on in "Hell's Kitchen", took the overcooked eggs which had the sauce and cheese on them, off of the bowl and topped it with two undercooked eggs, whites were still raw, (clear). Not only were they raw, they were naked. No additional cheese or sauce, just two inedible eggs. My husband, who has no problem with soft whites, over easy and even sunny side up, couldn't eat these. We weren't going to wait for a third attempt and they were kind enough to not charge us for the meals.
Unfortunately, third time was not a charm here and don't think we'll be going back on our next trip. Definitely hit or miss and more miss.
The food was so subpar. Theres no was this man got that far in the Hells Kitchen competition and executed such a horrendous 2-3 star menu. Me and my 4 guests were baffled. 3 of us got the Mac and cheese which was soupy, chewy and under seasoned. My pork-belly came undercooked and cold. When I sent it back the waiter was so kind about it but Marc who is the executive chef didn’t even come out to apologize. This has never happened before at what is supposed to be an upscale restaurant. This place is definitely equivalent to Applebees. The dessert I got, which the waiter was kind and put it on the house, was of Master Chef Junior quality. Crushed up fruity pebbled on a vanilla mousse? This man is nuts.
We had an enjoyable and relaxed dinner and the server did an excellent job.
Outstanding food, service, creative menu and great time had by all.
MAS Tapas y Vino is hands down the best dining experience in New Mexico, Chef Marc is bringing the flavor to downtown ABQ… every week my tastebuds go on a magical adventure like no other! All of your senses will come alive at this truly special place, it’s a culinary masterpiece of one of the most talented artists in the business
Aged beef was awesome as was the wine. However, service was poor and unskilled for that price point. Total experience was a disappoint compared to other dinners had there in the past. Stick to the bar and bar food- tapas .
Great food chill atmosphere will be back to try something else at a different time
The food was pretty good, but it would have been nice to have a spanish tortilla on the menu. The servers were just okay, normally they will be sure you know the different sauces, but these servers just put stuff on the table and left.
Food was fabulous, the service was good, a little slow at start, seemed a tad short staffed, but totally understandable.
food was uneven, sent two dishes back. Chef was very nice and service was good. not sure I would go back.
I wish I could give you an “A plus plus”, the Food, Service, Drinks, and atmosphere was first Class. I will positively return. I will recommend. I will just skip dessert next time. It will help my calorie intake and give this wonderful place a chance to do better on desert. That was disappointing and the dessert would get no better than a “D” being kind. This said, everything else was superb.
Amazing place to eat in a beautiful historic hotel. Chef Marc is amazing and humble.
It was our daughter's graduation dinner and we wanted to have a special occasion. The food and atmosphere was fantastic and our waiter, Michael, was fantastic helping us to understand what would be the best options us to order, without getting too much.
Dining experience was amazing. Will be back Definitely.
The food was amazing but the front of the house service was terrible.
The food is consistently superb, but the supporting act is not. The glasses, drinks are served were not spotless and the dessert was dry and not up to par.
We very much enjoyed the dinner. Even the lot attendant was extremely kind
Outstanding service and really amazing tapas.
The food was delicious and creatively presented. Good bar (the red sangria is lovely), helpful and competent waitstaff, in a pretty downtown space. Great for a special occasion or for chatting over tapas with friends.
Morgan was a fantastic waitress, gave us recommendations and her honest opinions on drinks and tapas. My wife and I had never been here before so it was an awesome first night there! Will definitely be coming back.
Always a wonderful place for dinner, but have you had their lunch? Yum!!!
The food was amazing and our server was a wonderful help to our decision making. Everyone was so friendly, and the chef was super nice and spoke with my sister by opening the door for her :) 10/10 recommend!
