One of the newest food halls in town, Market Place Vauxhall is located in an old tunnel directly under Vauxhall train station, just a short walk away from hallowed ground of The Oval Cricket Club. The Market brings together 12 of the best authentic street food traders in London, including:

Rudies: Caribbean
Hermanos: Mexican
Krapow FC: Thai Fried Chicken
Curry on NaanStop: Indian
Made in Puglia: Italian oven-baked pizza
Duck Shed: Roast Duck

The venue is a mixture of corrugated steel, wood, foliage, and neon. Think Asian hawker centre meets tropical neon Jungle, The team behind Market Place has curated a wonderful space where everyone is welcome.

    The bar staff were exceptionally friendly. Splitting-the-G Guinness challenge for a free half-pint is genius. We all had a good laugh, staff included. Smash burger place, while expensive (every stall was) was exceptionally good. Thai noodle place, sub par, chow mein was far from authentic, almost tasteless all stars lost were due to this place.

    When we arrived our table reservation had been lost, and it took quite a while to find a member of staff who could help us. When we finally made contact with the manager he was very helpful and secured us a suitable table. Thank you to him.

    Very confusing as no tables were reserved and nobody was able to check us in as a booking. However food and drinks were lovely as expected. Would have just hoped to have had a reserved space for us to make it a bit more welcoming :)
