Great food, atmosphere and service. We sat at bar , had couple drinks and shrimp cocktail prior to dinner. Dinner at Maritana was fabulous

What is not to love about stone crab? This was all I needed and they were presented beautifully. Yum. The caprese salad with burrata was a bit disappointing - but only because the tomatoes are not in season and were a bit lacking in taste. The burrata was creamy and perfect. The people at the next table were friendly when they realized I was dining alone and even shared menu tips and a taste of their wine.

Save up for this dining experience and enjoy the lovely hotel grounds too.

We made a reservation for my birthday. My husband and I travel a lot and have extensive wine knowledge and enjoy great varieties of food.
The restaurant was smaller than what I expected. The hostess was nice but tried to give us the table behind her hostess stand by the door when we had specified special occasion.
If you’ve experienced European preparation of seafood, go! This young chef is beyond her years in perfect preparation and flavor dynamics as well as display. The octopus appetizer was incredibly tender and paired with bulgar wheat and Castelvetrano olives. Wow! The cioppino had the freshest seafood and scallops with a nice crust to them with thin sliced charred bread for dipping into the flavorful broth. The pompano special was equally perfect.
The downside is the wine selection and ridiculous prices, specifically the whites and sparkling. I was familiar with most of the wines as common grocery store available labels. Some $15-$20 wines were priced at $60-$80 Per bottle while the by the glass was $15-$18.
Cocktail prices were no different $15-$18 each. Had there been an Italian or French wine that I had not enjoyed before, I would have had a bottle. But Kim Crawford for $80 or pat the same for a Chateauneuf du Pape at another restaurant.
The wait staff was mature and the decor was very relaxing with blown glass bubbles and sea life in tanks on one wall.
I would probably return but have dessert (also starting at $18) and after dinner drinks somewhere else.

Very nice place. Very large , high ceiling area. Service is as good as it gets. Numerous people to take care of you, great team work. Started with drinks at the bar, BEST blue cheese olives I have ever had.
Our server was very friendly and really knew the menu. Very helpful with our selection. Food was somewhat not as good as expected. The swordfish was slightly overcooked, but the sides were outstanding.
My steak was very small pieces and a little tough, but very flavorful . Pricing was fair for the quality. We would come back again for a special occasion.

Great, but not as great as the price point. I don't normally complain about the cost of great food if it's justified, and although this was a really good meal, it wasn't better than any other high-end steakhouse, and $16 cocktails...
