I recently celebrated my friend’s birthday at Marisi, but unfortunately, the experience did not meet our expectations. Despite having a reservation, we were initially seated on a makeshift patio that was likely set up during COVID restrictions, away from the main dining area. This was not communicated to us ahead of time. After expressing our concerns, we were told we would be reseated in 30 minutes, but ended up waiting just over an hour. When we were finally brought inside, we noticed that we had been sat at tables in an area which had seemingly been available the entire time. The situation was further frustrating when we saw other groups being seated in the same area shortly after we were placed, since our only guess as to why we hadn’t been seated in this area more promptly was that it had been reserved and specially set up to resolve the issue. Additionally, the only compensation we had been offered for the long wait was free bread, which felt quite insufficient given the circumstances. Overall, while the food was enjoyable and our server was wonderful once we had been seated, the issues with seating and the lengthy wait unfortunately overshadowed our celebration. We had originally visited the restaurant for its great reputation, so this experience was very disappointing. I hope the restaurant management considers this feedback to enhance the experience for future guests.

Our first time there to celebrate my daughter’s 20th! Both the food and the service was amazing. Would definitely go back.

My family and I went in for dinner on Monday to celebrate Mother’s Day and let me tell y’all… the service was incredible! From the moment we walked through those doors til the moment went exited them. Our server Christina was absolutely incredible and very lovely! She was very knowledgeable about food & drink menu and her along with her assistants ensure we had a great first experience dining at Marisi. My dad isn’t easily impressed with service and he made it a point to me to let our incredible server, Christina, know. Both my mom and my mother in law couldn’t stop mentioning how much they enjoyed themselves! Thank you Marisi & staff for a very lovely evening! Definitely recommend dining here! Ask for Christina if she’s working!(:

Excellent service. The food offerings were very limited and what we ordered, were average. Overdone pasta. And very expensive. Overall, a disappointment

Our overall experience here was great! Ian was our server and greeted us right away and helped us navigate the menu and make delicious selections of appetizers and mains. He also had wonderful knowledge of Italian wines and which ones to pair with each of our entrees. It was a great date night. The restaurant is decorated so beautifully you feel like you are transported to a restaurant in Italy. We will definitely be back again to try more!
