The place is great, but empty.
This place is so lovey and rarely crowded, even at prime brunch time on a Saturday. Beautiful light in the atrium, lovely food, attentive and low key staff. It's so nice that I don't even want to tell anyone about it for fear that it will get too popular and hectic. It's a perfect spot if you're the kind of person who just wants a chill brunch and a glass of bubbly with no scene, no wait, just elegance and serenity.
I love the ambiance here. Such a fun vibe. The server was awesome. He did a great job at being attentive and not obtrusive. My friend and I really enjoyed our time here.
Amazing service, food and ambience
This is a beautiful and charming space. The food is certainly above average and the service is professional and attentive. However, we were looking for a more lively atmosphere - and that’s how the location seems to want to advertise itself - but there were only two or three tables with customers during a peak time lunch visit.
they had no food available, the restaurant was closed for a "gas problem." they didn't notify us, they didn't have cold food to serve. it was shocking
The ambiance is perfect. The food not so much, which is a pity. The only item that was done well were the fries...
Buiten en haast geen lawaai
Love this place. A hidden gem. Can always get a table, the food is always spot on. Service was great, bottomless mimosas were plentiful.
Delicious food
Love their spring menu for brunch! Nice ambience, quiet restaurant. Highly recommended!
We were literally the only table in the restaurant from 7-9 PM. The staff was unfriendly, and gave no suggestions when asked on which of their small plates would be good for sharing in our group of 5. One member of our party was interested in trying a cocktail she had never had before (everyone ordered 2 cocktails each during our dining experience) and asked if she didn’t enjoy it if she could send it back for something she knew she liked. They said no. Again, we were the only table and had ordered two appetizers, 8+ cocktails, and an entree for each person. Horrible, unfriendly service.
Calm, no music and no sun, but food and service was one of the best of LA. I really like this place for brunch !
Galantines!
It’s a fun space but it felt big and empty yet the booth we had was cramped and awkward. Service was friendly but quite scare.
Not a lively dinner spot. Ghost town on a Friday night at 8:00pm. We didn't know this was in a hotel, the ambiance was very uncomfortable. Quiet, empty, no music. We had a party of 7, I feel bad for the one table near us who were enjoying a quiet dinner before we arrived. The waiter didn't know the menu and seemed upset we were there, despite the automatic 20% gratuity on our $500 dinner. Food and drinks were great, but not even close to being worth the experience.
We had a large party with kids and our server handled us extremely well.
Went for brunch and loved the avocado toast... best i’ve ever had
Maybe it was the LA rain that kept the crowds away but thanks to a perfectly timed break in the waterworks, we enjoyed brunch in the open courtyard and quickly determined that's the place to be! Love the decor at the hotel and I couldn't be happier with our brunch for 10. The staff were accommodating and quick. Apart from one mis timed meal arrival, everything went great. I'd come back for a meal at this bijou West Hollywood spot!
I would recommend this for a romantic date. I came here for my friends birthday & it felt really awkward because there was no one else there, so being loud & knowing it’s also a hotel felt us a little uncomfortable.
Wonderful good. The chopped salad was amazing and the salmon was perfect. Thank you!
I booked this restaurant for a birthday dinner. Was extremely disappointed when I walked in to find out that “they are no longer serving dinner.” My reservation was at 9pm and I had showed up at 8:55pm. It seems like OpenTable and the restaurants they work with need to work better with each other.
Terrible service. Waiter was not willing to be helpful at all. Online menu is completely different than actual.
They were out of several drinks.
Nothing impressive about this place.
Would never come back.
Ottimo in tutto i sentissi: location, servizio, qualità del cibo, rapporto qualità prezzo, frequentato da gente cool ma senza eccesso.
Prior to this visit I had only gone for brunch, which was amazing. We arrived at the tail end of dinner service. Open table allowed us to book at 9:30 but it seemed they were ready to close when we arrived as they rushed our ordering of everything at once. This was fine we were hungry and looking to go out after so we did not mind. Food was delicious and delivered piping hot and quick. The hotel lobby has a great setup. There seemed to be a setup to the right for a DJ etc but was empty. Too bad as this would be a great location to meet up for drinks.
We received a recommendation from a relative who was there for lunch and loved it. We went for dinner at 7:00 and we were one of two people there. Service was good. Food was fair, however the Baba Ganoosh was very good. Not enough selections on menu.
The place looks awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Porzioni piccole
I live across the street from Mardi and this was the first time I had been, but it won't be the last! I had been looking for a romantic setting for a date night with good food and good service and that is exactly what I got. The charcuterie board was expensive (probably down to my greed and love of cheese and meats) but was delicous and the chutney was out of this world. We had a great waiter who was attentive and gave great recomendations.
Been here a few times and gets worse each time. Food and service were only average but prices warrant much better. Decor is still odd. They need to hire a designer and bring in a new manager and chef.
Based solely off the service alone- I will not be coming back. They were out of multiple items on the menu and the waitress did not disclose it until I tried to order it, for three different dishes. The Bloody Mary was watered down and we barely got offered any refills. Such a shame that this place is so beautiful and has such terrible respect for their customers experience.
Great European setting; well crafted dishes and warm service.
Very mediocre. Not a well balanced menu either
Said that open table
The place as totally empty and the food was gross. Server was cool though.
It was a cool early evening (around 6pm) when we arrived. Since it was already cold, we noticed they had some super soft blankets around. I have to say I was quite surprised that they didn’t have heaters around(or at least we were not offered any). Eventually, some of our group saw that there was a heater in the corner and asked for it.
The food is excellent, albeit a smaller menu. It’s fine - just not awesome for vegetarians. Otherwise, everyone enjoyed their meals. The menu said the plates are meant for sharing but the portion sizes were small - not much sharing happened.
Our server was very good about coming back from time to time to check in on us - he was very quick to get things for us.
All in all, I enjoyed our meal - we had a good sized group (8).
Wonderful Mother's day brunch. Can't wait to go back.
On Mother's Day. The staff was incredibly rude. It took 4 requests and 30 minutes to get coffee... at breakfast. When we asked for real sugar, the server brought stevia and got snippy, insisting it was sugar. When I asked for a Bloody Mary, I was told, "no, we can't do that, there is no bar staff, try something less complicated and maybe I can make it for you." The service was neglectful and there was only 1 other table of 3 people in the entire restaurant. Inexcusable. Such a shame because it is a beautiful setting. Will not be returning.
The ambiance is great, with its half-indoor/half-outdoor courtyard dining room, but the food experience was less than expected. The food choices sounded great on the menu, but were disappointingly lackluster when delivered. The kitchen and waitstaff also seemed to have problems communicating - as they delivered my dining partner's entree, they told me the fish I had ordered was no longer available due to quality issues, and I needed to order something else. This was a little late to bring this up, so I asked them to return my partner's entree and bring them out together next time. I was disappointed they didn't handle it this way on their own. Plus, the menu is very small/limited, and it was not easy to pick another desirable entree. I recall there was only 1 dessert option? Another disappointment.
To the restaurant's credit, they recognized the awkward service and meal we had, and our dissatisfaction, and comp'ed much of the meal.
Fabulous ambience... Cosy, chic European vibe. Food and service excellent! I love this place!
