About Marco's Trattoria - West Hollywood
Marco and his beloved ‘mamma’ opened a small trattoria in West Hollywood in 1993. With a lifelong passion of hospitality and a deep love of the food from her Italian birthplace, they created a neighborhood trattoria and pizzeria that spun over a decade of fabulous ‘home cooked’ foods, wonderful loving friends and the culinary memories of an era long gone. Now, 22 years later the relocated Marco’s has the same philosophy. Create a neighborhood restaurant where: The energy is upbeat and without pretense. The food is wonderful and memorable. The prices are fair and value driven. Our menu and diverse wine list have been created to offer a vast variety of comfort food flavors spanning the culinary globe. Upscale in the quality of ingredients and presentations, yet centering on that original Italian restaurant started so many years ago with a single ideal.

Marco's Trattoria - West Hollywood Ratings and Reviews
Marco's has been around for a long time. From what I could tell, it seems to have developed a deep relationship with its customers and the neighborhood -- and I don't wonder why. There's feeling of genuine warmth from the staff, and a sense that you're truly valued as a customer. In observing the solo diners, couples, and large groups present, I got the impression that they were there to consume that as much as the food. Speaking of food, my clam linguine (the special) was fresh and flavorful, with a bit of an extra tang to it (lemon, maybe?), that made it a little different... and a lot tasty. Their suggested wine, a Napa Sauvignon Blanc, was perfect pairing. I was a happy diner indeed.
Nice waiter, needed music to be louder. Owners there, one guy with grey hair a bit too loud when customers are present.
At the end, suddenly a very tall guy came to the table as we were finishing and said "so what's going on here?" Weird, we were finishing. Odd
I was looking for a place close The Coast Playhouse and came across Marcos on Open Table. Although it was quite when we arrived, it started to fill out as we were leaving. The staff was very friendly and attentive. My biggest pet peeve when dining out it glasses being empty. This never happened.
I would certainly recommend Marcos to anyone looking for a local place with great authentic Italian food. Although I'm from Long Beach, I would certainly dine here again when in the area
First try here in many years. They've renovated since my last visit and it's much nicer. Still very simple, but a cleaner, fresher space now. Service was very pleasant; and it was clear that there were a lot of regulars there -- a good sign. My dining partner really loved his lamb ragu papardelle, and my mushroom lasagne was most delish! Compared with other mid range Italian restaurants (i.e. not super haute cuisine, and not junky), food quality and prices are pretty much in line. I wouldn't hesitate to go back when in the neighborhood.
The food at Marco's was beyond our expectations. I ordered the truffle lobster mac & cheese and it was amazing. The service was great, while waiting for our food the power went out but the team handled it all very professionally and our food was still presented to us perfectly cooked, warm and presented well.
