In the heart of Houston’s Montrose neighborhood, MARCH Restaurant is an intimate Mediterranean restaurant from Chef Felipe Riccio. Serving both 6 and 9 course tasting menus, we study the gastronomy, history, and cultures of the region to answer the question:

“What is Mediterranean cuisine?”

After many years of personal and professional exploration of the Mediterranean – including extended stints at three-Michelin-starred Osteria Francescana and Azurmendi –Felipe has brought this spirit of exploration back to his home in Houston.

The word ‘MARCH’ signifies an area of land on the border between two territories; a frontier between realms. The menu is the team’s love letter to the Mediterranean where we will explore the unique, layered evolution of its many connected cuisines, with beverage pairings/selections artfully curated by partner and Master Sommelier, June Rodil, and the acclaimed beverage team.

Van de OpenTable-redactie: Chef Felipe Riccio is opgeleid in toprestaurants, zoals het met drie Michelinsterren bekroonde Osteria Francescana in Italië, en dat zie je terug in March. In dit glamoureuze, met kunst gevulde restaurant verwent Riccio de gasten met een wisselend degustatiemenu van zes en negen gangen. Iedere drie maanden staat er een nieuwe mediterrane regio centraal. Op het menu stonden eerder stijlvolle gerechten zoals paella met lamschorizo en zwezerik, vergezeld van heerlijke wijnen en de kenmerkende vermout met kruiden van het restaurant.

They make you feel very special and catered to. While some tastes were exquisite, total cost with gratuity makes it difficult to repeat or recommend.

Friendly and impeccable service as always. Compared to our previous visits to March, the food was less to our liking this time, so we were a little disappointed last night.

We had such an amazing experience at March, from the moment we entered the doors until we left. The food was spectacular and truly an experience. The service was impeccable and all of the staff were knowledgeable and engaging. We will definitely return to try other seasons and menus!

MARCH is a must for a special occasion. The service is top notch and the food will leave you wondering; how did they come up with these amazing flavors? The dishes not only curated art pieces but pack a punch of memorizing flavors. I highly recommend going with the wine pairing as it will enhance the dishes and you can learn about wines you have never tried.

From start to finish, our night at March was flawless. Every dish was thoughtful and beautifully executed. The A5 wagyu steak stood out the most—the flavor and sauce were unmatched. A close second was the first plate (I forgot the name, but it had oysters)—absolutely incredible. The fish dish was the only course that wasn’t to my taste—it was a bit too “fishy” for me personally. The pacing of the meal was perfect—smooth and unhurried. We did the wine pairing, and I highly recommend it. Sharing one pairing between the two of us was more than enough and definitely elevated the experience. Customer service was exceptional. Our servers, Mike and Sarah, took their time explaining the origin of every dish and wine pairing. The atmosphere was elegant and quiet—only about 9 tables in the whole space. It truly felt like we were in another city or country. It was worth every dollar. I highly recommend March to anyone looking for a top-tier fine dining experience in Houston

From the second you walk in the door, it’s an experience. Everything they do is with a purpose at March. Beautiful night, wonderful food, great service.

Lounge experience at March is unmatched for service, unique drink options, and ambiance. We only stopped for a nightcap after a dinner nearby, and the experience continues to exceed expectations.
