   A chic venue with great style. A very modern atmosphere with a DJ playing chilled house music. The food was good and came out quickly with no errors. The service wasn’t great, especially considering it wasn’t busy as we had to go to the bar for more drinks and ask for the bill. I stayed here the night before and they took a while to make cocktails and didn’t bring the olives and nuts we ordered.

   We booked a table for 4 on a Friday evening and had the best time. Everything from the food, staff and ambience was spot on. Mama's had a wonderful vibrant atmosphere, with a Dj playing soulful house in the background. The music was loud enough to enjoy and still have a conversation. The food was delicious and I would definitely recommend the padron peppers and sea bass. The menu was very inclusive of all palate's which was perfect for our group as some of us are Pescatarian. Cocktails were divine with the bartender Nate showing us his mixology skills and flavours to die for. The setting is so comforting, yet exciting and all the staff here have created the perfect experience. The price was very good for the area, around £40-£50 pp for food and drinks. Thank to Celine and Jass who served us, they were both so friendly and worked so hard the whole time we were there. Josè who is just the sweetest 💕 Last but not least Marven the manager, what a guy! This guy knows what customer service is all about and you can see the rapport he has with all of his staff. There was nothing that was too much for him. He even created a special sauce himself, for us to enjoy with a bar snack that we ordered. This is definitely the place to go if you want to enjoy good food and drinks with friends or family in shoreditch. We will definitely be returning, maybe for the brunch next time!    Bad Planning! Who runs out of Easter Lamb before 2pm on Easter Sunday?? Mama Shelter, that's who! 3 of a table of 4 disappointed we didn't get roast lamb on Easter Sunday, solely due to poor planning. To be fair to the restaurant, they apologised and gave us lots of food, a 2-for-1 price on the last of the Beef Wellington and free cauliflower cheese - but we would have planned to go elsewhere, had we even thought there was a slight chance of not getting the roast lamb we all hoped for.

   The whole vibe at Mama Shelter is fab. Visited today for Mothers Day and had 3x scrummy Sunday roasts. We also remembered our wonderful server Artur who served us for Mothers Day last year and who was even more wonderful than we remembered! Highly recommend MS and see you again next year! 🙌🏻🙌🏻

   Was lovely, servers were very nice people - although clearly very busy! Food was beautiful and very big portions as well. Wouldn’t recommend if you have parties hard of hearing but fantastic ambience otherwise. Will be coming back.
