Food was amazing! My husband got the bison steak and I got the filet mignon and both were cooked perfectly. The pork belly appetizer was amazing as well. Waitstaff was very attentive and friendly. I would highly recommend this place!

Mackenzie’s was great as always. Staff, food and service was top notch. I get the Cowboy Ribeye every time and it’s always perfectly cooked. And I always have some leftover to make steak and eggs the next morning and that was great too lol!

Didn't have a really fine experience the last time we dined here, but gave it a second chance yesterday (May 24th). Glad we did. Five stars all around. This is the most convenient and usually outstanding restaurant if you're going to a Pikes Peak Center performance. Great ambience, service, food, and if you're dining on a Wed, half price bottles of wine.

Worst steaks possible. Was booked for a proposal. Was seated next to the loudest screaming bunch of people ever in a 15 top. No problem please move me. Moved next to a crying baby. Next. Steaks had 0 flavoring or seasoning. They did comp the meal because it was terrible. The whole issue was lack of respect for a proposal, terrible food, and the interior was dirty. Didn't even get on my knees to propose here, had to drive to somewhere pretty to make it memorable.

We come here a few times a year and have never had a bad meal. The steaks are done to perfection as are the sauces which accompany them. The scallops were cooked perfectly as delicate as they should be but the spicy peppers did not work with them.

I’ve been to MacKenzie’s many times but never on a date. First time I took beautiful lady for Mother’s Day dinner since had no family going to treat her out. She loved the atmosphere and everything that was prepared. I would go again.

We went here on Mother's Day for a buffet. We'd been here before on mother's day and they always had an excellent buffet, with a salad bar, dessert bar, made-to-order omelets, a breakfast bar, a meat bar and a seafood bar. This time was different, though. They only had a seafood bar and a meat bar. The seafood bar was excellent as always, but the cocktail sauce was watery and weak. The meat bar had prime rib that was flavorless and raw. In addition, they didn't have any au-jus sauce, and the horseradish was so strong, we couldn't use it. We could order one item off the menu for a breakfast fair. There were no vegatables. The mimosas were wonderful, and the service was fair. Overall, I love the restaurant otherwise, but stay away for Mother's Day.

The service was excellent. We have visited there in the past for their Mother Day and Easter Brunch pre pandemic and it was always excellent. They have since changed the way they conduct t h e service and it is different. Our server was excellent. Have never had a bad dining there in the past. Will definitely be returning to my favorite Colorado Springs restaurant.

Brando and Sam make a great “tag team” service wise. Great memory for remembering us and always taking care of us. We appreciate being able to count on a restaurant’s people who are taken care of by their management. And Linda always runs a tight ship. Thanks chef for your fresh sheet.

This visit was very disappointing. It was my birthday dinner with friends. Our previous visit here was not that good but we decided to give it one more try. The appetizer was very good! My steak was not cooked right and I was very apprehensive to send it back, but our server reassured me it would be to my satisfaction. Well, it came back well done and dry, The server apologized but it was inedible. Dessert came, and the custard in my crème brûlée must have broke. The texture was not smooth and velvety. The manager came to the table and apologized, They did not charge for our appetizers or dessert. My husband and I will find a another steakhouse. Our first visit here was fabulous, but since then, we have not had a good meal here. Would not recommend.

MacKenzie's Chop House is my absolute favorite restaurant for lunch in downtown Colorado Springs. Highly recommend the Spinach salad with Salmon or the Steak Salad. Great ambiance, stellar service, delicious food. Particularly excellent for working lunch as the noise level is low and allows for conversation.

Great place to visit with the steak lover in your life! Unfortunately, not much on the vegetarian/vegan side, but that's to be expected at a chop house. Pricey, but worth the price. Would recommend the swordfish. Martinis are strong, but lovely. Great place for a special occasion!

Went to MacKensie’s before a show at the Pikes Peak Center. The highly touted French Onion soup was flavorless, and the Caesar’s salad with Chicken…. The Chicken was very dry The atmosphere in there is nice, but MacKensie’s will not be my first choice for future pre show dining.

It was amazing as always! The staff is so kind and friendly and most importantly always welcoming. The food, well the food is the best, it has incredible flavor, it is filling and a delight to the pallet.
