The food was immaginative and very tasty - not dominated by chilli which much as I like a small amount from time to time seems to overwhelm many dishes in restaurants now adays. I had the Cape Hake puttanesca. This was a new dish to me. I asked the waiter what were the ingredients - expecting to hear pasta - he told me potatoes plus olives and pepers. When it arrived there were no potatoes or pasta!! Nevertheless the fish was beautifully cooked and tasted fantastic. The other diners in my group also enjoyed their meals.

The wait for the food was just too long. The food was nice and the waitress was great but they only had 2 members of staff and kitchen was slow. It's a shame because it could be great

First time here, drawn in by a voucher shared at Highgate Summer Fair. So pleased we tried it, the dishes are imaginatively presented, fresh & tasty. My daughter doesn't drink and was impressed with all the adult non-alcoholic alternatives. Friendly, attentive service and the staff have a nice rapport with each other, so you know it's genuine. This is a new favourite for us, we will be back!

The food was very good, however the visit was spoilt by children who were out of control, noisy and running around and service that left something to be desired. I also had to show a server the dark ring inside the milk jug that looked disgusting.

The food is always good for us, but somehow it’s always slow service. The value is especially good as lunch set menu is served until 5 pm.

We took two friends for Sunday lunch First course & drinks was fine We then waited over 45 minutes for our mains Finally I went to the manager & asked what was happening He said the ticket hadn’t gone through to the kitchen; turned out our waiter hadn’t put the mains through when he cleared our starter. The mains arrived and the cauliflower steak which was supposed to be finished by grilling or bbbq had simply been boiled. It was mushy & inedible. The steak was grissly & difficult if not impossible to eat. Ended up leaving half of it. In fairness the manager took the drinks & service charge off the bill & was apologetic. However service was missing for much of the meal. I have been a big fan of Lussmans & take at least 5 sets of friends. But this was a massive disappointment. Clearly struggling to get in the front & back of house Very poor showing

Fresh, delicious food, perfectly prepared. Lovely dining room, low noise level our group could chat and hear others at end of table
