Outdoor waterside seat, excellent; glass of sparkling wine, very light, crisp and flavorful; crab bisque, smooth, delicious, right temp and good portion, linguine alle vongole, had WAY too many pepper flakes that ruined the balance of clams, pasta, garlic and sauce. After a few bites, my mouth and cheeks were on fire and I couldn't taste anything anymore. Big disappointment. Service was excellent. Price a bit too high. If you order this dish (or perhaps any other) ask for any hot spice ingredient on the side.

I have been here couple times through out the years. The food, the location and the service keeps me coming back. I very glad I came. I remember the last time I came I ordered something with lamb. This time I asked if there is a dish with lamb and the waiter said no it might be a seasonal dish. Which I am very glad I asked because it gives me an impression that they order locally and freshly. If the ingredients is not in season then that ingredient must have been in the fridge for a while. I am glad I took my relatives here.

A bit overpriced. The base Caesar $18 + Prawns $19 = $37 Caesar that left me hungry. The prawns were worth it, but $18 for lettuce, dressing and a little shaved parm? No. Our waiter was rude, inpatient, not welcoming at all and definitely not friendly. Happy to see some other locals there, so that part of the dining experience was fun, but not the waiter and not the pricing.

4 flat raviolis for $25. They charge for each (single) piece of bread. We aren’t cheap but this beautiful setting has no heart. The wait staff was rude (except Antonio who was absolutely wonderful and turned the experience around by just being kind) and the establishment seemed to be nickel and dime-ing patrons just because they could..because most people in Tiburon won’t say anything. Our first server actually tried to convince us (my lunch guest was Sicilian) that micro portions are “how it’s done in Italy” lol. Nothing special about the food. Entree portions are virtually non existent.

We went to Luna Blu restaurant for our 40th anniversary celebration. We had two tables of six people each and it was a really wonderful experience. The service was just right and the food delicious. We highly recommend this restaurant & hope to go there again.

We had a very enjoyable dinner outside on the open deck (plenty of heaters). Our entrees, the beet pasta w/dungenous crab and lobster ravioli were outstanding. Cocktails were very nice as well. Our shared ahi starter was just okay. I would’ve liked a wider variety of wines by the glass, but overall or meal, and the ambiance, was excellent.

We’ve tasted their homemade ravioli, spaghetti bolognese, tasty meatballs and fried calamari and the mussels were delicious. Leave some room for dessert, their tiramisu is amazing!

What a gem! It’s easy to see why this place has won OpenTable’s Diners Choice award year after year. We had a lovely dinner at Luna Blu last night and we were thoroughly impressed by the experience. The seafood was fresh and beautifully prepared. The service was friendly and on point! We can’t wait to return soon!

Definitely recommend the outdoor patio and the more comfortable blue cushioned chairs. Very beautiful, romantic setting. Food and service were also quite good. Great views of the sailboats and San Francisco, across the Bay

My second time at Luna Blu, and for the second time have experienced excellent food and service. Ambiance sitting out on the expansive deck overlooking the Tiburon marina and San Franciasco in the distance makes the evening even more special.

There's just something about sitting on a patio that is next to the ocean and with views of the the bay as well as SF. The staff were friendly. The food was very good. 1. the Fettucine allo Scollo was delicious with smoked mussels and calamari in a light red sauce. Pasta cooked slightly aldente....yumm. 2. the Tagliolini al granchio was also very good. Pasta cooked slightly aldente...yumm 3. Cioppino was pretty good. The broth was not overly salty which I liked very much as you can always add in salt. Seafood was not overly cooked either. 4. Tartar de Tonno was good; though it was outstanding or memorable like the pasta dishes. 5. Portobello alla Griglia was good. liked that the portobello absorbed the vinegrette and the fennel and pine nuts added to the dish with freshness and creaminess. Def would come back.

Party of 6 was completely satisfied with the food and excellent service provided by Antonio. The Sardinian Vermentino was also fabulous as was the Affogato for dessert. Looking forward to returning for another wonderful meal and experience.

Neglected. Food quality has deteriorated over the last year or so. Brussels sprouts for example were tasteless and undercooked. Tuna tartar also pretty ho hum. Main dishes okay not great. Menu hasn’t been updated nor has the physical plant in many years.

Some of the best food I have ever had. Their Caponata is out of this world; we always order that when go to this place. Yesterday, after the Caponata shared with my husband, I had a risotto with chicken, sundried tomatoes, artichokes and asparagus, and it was fantastic while my husband had a beet taglioni in a fresh crab champagne cream sauce. That too was delicious but had rather too much butter.

This was just an ok experience. We started with the calamari and zucchini-it didn’t have much flavor and there was hardly any zucchini. For my entree I ordered the risotto, kind of knew that I shouldn’t but I love risotto. It was terribly bland. The ambiance was probably good but I was sitting next to a huge plant so had bo view. The wine menu is good, I ordered a Cosmo and didn’t find it to my liking either. The entire cocktail menu was appealing which was shocking because usually I want to order one of each. All that said, my husband enjoyed his entree more than I did and I’d give it another try.

After a short tussle with the hostess over whether our reservation was for an inside or outside table, we were happily seated at a great table outside overlooking the beautiful Tiburon harbor. From that point on, everything was five star. My spouse had the most delicious ahi tuna nicoise, and I loved my entree of shrimp and mussels over linguini with a subtle red sauce, which was a customized version of an item on the menu, happily done at my request, by an outstanding waiter and willing kitchen! We ended with the really good cannoli dessert and coffee! This place is an authentic Italian gem!

My girlfriend and I went here expecting a higher end type dining experience. We also thought it would be more romantic. It is much more of a casual ambiance, which certainly does not match up with the menu price points. The wait staff was not very attentive, and the hostess that greeted us was not friendly nor personable. The bottom line - we were pretty disappointed, and we won’t be returning.

A beautiful discovery, right in the heart of tiburon’s main street. We had an outdoor seating in the deck, watched the fog roll in and out of the san francisco skyline. The food was delicious: we had a refreshing chicken cesar salad for entrée, then for main dishes, the ravioli was amazing, as well as the pasta bolognese, as well as the polo with creamy sauce. Leave some room for desert.
