   Food was excellent- reason we keep returning. Our service this time was not stellar. Our server was missing in action most of our meal. Someone filled the water glasses but did not refill my husband’s coffee even once. She forgot to bring my husband’s juice. We decided not to remind her since she never returned until we were almost done with our meal. She did finally showed up anxious to take my plate before I was finished with my meal. She kept disappearing to another room. If she was assigned to serve in 2 rooms then there is a management issue. I really looked forward to dining at Luke’s but was disappointed this visit.

   The cocktails were delicious!!! But the food was okay. Our waitress kept asking if we wanted to order food when we were just trying to enjoy our cocktail and focaccia bread before we decided our entree. Finally gave in and ordered the beet salad and hangar steak. For the price of the dinner of $140 I was disappointed. I won’t be recommending or returning.

   Great experience at Luke! The food was spectacular. I had the shrimp and grits and it was one of my favorite I’ve had. Good spice and the grits were CHEESY! My friend had the trout and she was raving about it. The appetizer star was the escargot and bone marrow. That sauce was ridiculous. Finally the service was on point. Paul and Corey made a great team and made it a great evening.

   We had Escargot and Bone Marrow(BEST I’VE EVER HAD), Seafood Gumbo A’ La Creole, Crawfish and Pompano, Pan Seared Duck Breast. Great food!!! We definitely will be back next time to NOLA!!!

    Everything we ordered was excellent. The Brussels sprouts were very tasty as was the crayfish and corn chowder. The crayfish bread was devoured quickly after arriving at the table. The fried oyster salad and the crispy pork schnitzel were very large portions. My husband thought the schnitzel was the best he's ever had. The trout almondine was superb. We were all too full to order dessert.
