Would not go back. Service and servers were sloppy. Entree served not hot. Thank took back and brought it back 2 min later… French fries re-fried and mussels were maybe microwaved…

It was not a pleasant experience.

We had a great meal… It took a while to get a drink at the bar do to the fact they only had one bar person… however once sat down we had great services… good food selections, not too many and good wine selections… we will be back!

The food and service were really good. Limited menu but everything done well. The noise level was very high when the restaurant was full. Definitely not the place for a romantic date night. Definitely, a place to go and enjoy really good food.

I picked this place because of the blue crab omelette on the menu BUT, blue crab is out of season so it wasn't available. I had to settle for shrimp. My oyster salad was delicious.

Brunch at Lukes was delicious! We enjoyed our mimosas to begin with and shared the warm and sweet cinnamon roll! YUM! The matzo ball soup was amazing! The fried oyster salad was the perfect size for brunch - the oysters were fried to a nice tenderness. The croque madame (with the fried egg) was delicious and a large portion for my husband to enjoy!

Food was great! The burger, Brussels Sprouts, oysters and drinks were good. Our go to: the French 75, silver saint, raw oysters and the Luke Burger. Sit in Gary’s section. He always takes good care of us.

We chose Luke for Thanksgiving dinner. Our reservation was for 2:30 pm, and we were seated on time. Our waiter was friendly and provided good service initially. When the food arrived, however, it was barely warm, let alone hot. Not sure whether the problem was with the kitchen or whether the waiter wasn't on top of things. We sent the food back, and it came back somewhat warmer but still less than optimum temperature. The main dishes (turducken and pork shank) were good, but a couple of the sides were so-so, especially the dressing/stuffing. We chose the poached pear for dessert, and it was okay but the pear didn't seem to be ripe. During the latter part of our meal, the waiter wasn't as attentive, and we had to flag down another server at one point. Overall, we were somewhat disappointed with the experience.

Rabbit chicken liver pate was outstanding. moules frites also very good but a bit on the spicy side. staff very overworked and next to impossible to get their attention if you needed something

Been there before. Looks like it’s mostly geared for tourists. Food was ok, not great. Service was spotty.
The usual French bread was hard and cold. They could do a better job with that. My fish was ok but nothing special. Swordfish only choice in New Orleans?? Really, with all the gulf fish available

The oyster happy hour is fantastic. Wonderful P&J oysters! Homemade horseradish. Wine list (captains list) is reasonably priced and has everything our group wanted. Servers were professional and fun. It’s a bustling, somewhat noisy place- but a great time on every level.

This place is absolutely wonderful for breakfast! We made a reservation via Open Table for 9:45am on a Sunday. Our table was ready the moment we arrived and our server promptly took our order. Everyone from the hostess to the servers clearly cared about providing their customers with top service. For example, midway through our meal, our server replaced my hot tea with a fresh bag and water at no extra charge. The little things! And of course, our food was unreal good. My partner and I split the shrimp and grits with over medium eggs and the chicken biscuit sandwich (two courses for two people). Both are a must! Very fresh, very yummy. Many thanks to Luke for bringing us to life on a rough Sunday morning!

Good food. The shrimp & grits seemed a little over-seasoned (salty) for my taste, but overall the food was very good. Appetizers and dessert was excellent. Service was attentive. Crowded and very noisy as we sat at a table adjacent to the bar. It's tight in there, but this is New Orleans dining.

We got there 10 minutes before Happy Hour ended and the server waa kind enough to remind us to get our orders in before it ended. Got a dozen oysters for $1 each and also entrees that left us satisfied, happy, and stuffed! Schnitzel and gumo were great amd we were well attended.

It was my anniversary, my first wedding anniversary but it was also the Marine Corps birthday! My bad!

But they made my husband the guest of honor because he showed up in his full mess dress uniform.

We always have a wonderful time at Luke. The food is always superior to anything else in town. Every time.

I have probably eaten there 30 to 40 times and I’ve never had a bad meal or a bad experience.

Truthfully we are huge John Besh fans, all his restaurants are amazing.
