Luigi’s is always fabulous! Food is outstanding. We had calamari and clams casino to start. I had the margherita pizza, my personal fave. His pizzas are just the best. Wood fired to perfection with that amazing Luigi sauce. My dining companions had chicken parmigiana (if you haven’t had their chicken cutlet, you are missing out), and tbh I was too busy eating my pizza to notice the other pasta dishes. But they were raved about. And of course you can’t leave without dessert. Mama’s special is worth the trip alone. Luigi’s II is like the best kept secret in Danbury that really shouldn’t be a secret. If you love great pizza and Italian food at a family run place along with great service. (Freddy!!) then you really need to just go.
